I try to avoid this Starbucks since everytime I come it’s just a mess to get my drink. I was early to shop so I stopped in for a coffee. In 10 minutes I observed the guy in front of me get short changed(doesn’t the register tell you the change?) the man/worker grab the difference(laughing/smirking) out of the tip jar, listen to three workers debate how to make the big batch of coffee, not know how to write skinny vanilla on the cup and all three simply looking like dear in headlights while taking orders, making drinks and warming up croissants that weren’t supposed to be warm(times 3) Where are the managers on duty? Why isn’t someone of manger level here helping? Help us all if one of these workers was the manager. No sleeves out by the way, gotta ask. Don’t waist your time.

The drink is good but too much ice. Then I requested to have additional more. They charge me 50cents for refill which is ok for me.

Management needs to make it clear to their employees that personal phones calls are unacceptable during work hours, especially with a line of potential customers waiting for their orders to be taken. We didn’t even get our orders taken. No one cares about how busy today was, or how horrible you’re day is going. Do your damn job and give me a cake pop lady!

One of the dirtier Starbucks. The bathrooms are pretty nasty and the last time I came they were out of soap in the lady’s room. However, there is a decent amount of place to sit and it doesn’t get overcrowded like at some of the other locations on Laurel Ave.

One experience at this location 1135-A Industrial Rd in San Carlos, and pretty defining one at that — I’m not stopping here next time. First, not a single napkin available in the entire store(two dispensers that I saw were sitting on the counter empty). Ok, maybe they just had a rush early afternoon, who knows? 4:30pm in the afternoon and they’re not busy from the looks of it, just a couple people inside, no line, spacious insides. Trash is overflowing though. Waited for my mobile order of tall decaf cappuccino with whole milk, and wet — means lots of foam. I hate to ask for it and that is why it’s all clearly typed up on there. Got the cup and it was half full — as if the room has been left for the foam, but then there wasn’t much of the foam made. So I had to point that out and asked to fill up my cup, which was done reluctantly, without any hint of friendliness even, no chit-chat, no sorry, just an awkward silence where you’re made to feel as if it’s somehow your fault and apologize profusely for asking what’s right. The foam barely reached the rim. Had my cappuccino, got a spinach wrap(heated up, so it takes some time), then had a Pike Place refill, still no napkins. Just got out of there — stopping by 856 Laurel St next time, just half a mile from here on the other side of El Camino.

I usually dont write reviews but after my experiences at this location infelt compelled to bring some issues to attention. I came here on 2 separate occasions during the same week. The first time i used mobile pay to order a reg drip coffee. It was a rainy day so i took a few min to find parking but when i came in the store about 10min after i placed the order the had no idea about my order and it was only after i reminded them that the store barista went to the register to grab the computerized receipt for my order and told me to wait a few min. I waited about 20min total before getting my drink, probably would have been faster NOT to use mobile pay. The second time a came here i ordered a venti latte and i specifically told the attendant that i wanted to use my free drink voucher and after leaving the store i found out i was charged for the drink instead if using my voucher. This store location is very disorganized and not customer friendly! They do not have their act together unlike most other Starbucks locations.

Worst Starbucks. Period. Unfriendly staff, moving very slowly and never smiled. Not what you expect from Starbucks.

The customer service was OK I guess, but my drink and my experience at this specific Starbucks SUCKED. I ordered a tall iced green tea latte. When the girl poured the green tea power on top of the milk, she just shook the cup and it all fell to the bottom. The milk was still practically white… She didn’t have a welcoming attitude so I had to ask another girl to help me. I asked the second girl nicely to have my drink well-shaken. As she poured my drink into the shaker cup, all the green tea powder was left at the bottom of the cup. After she shook it, she poured the drink into a new cup that was the next size up. Not only was my drink milk with a little bit of green tea powder, but it was half full of bubbles… Gahhh so frustrating. I just left with a smile.

I come to this starbucks often because it is near my work. The drinks are good but the employees aren’t the best. They don’t seem to take their job that seriously. They are very bad at calling out the drinks. Everytime I go here I have to check every few minutes to see if my drink is ready. They have also forgotten about my order completely.

Closest Starbucks to my job. They are much slower than any other Starbucks I’ve been too! Also I’ve noticed that the air circulation sucks in there it always has a humid and odd smell as well which kinda sucks when they are taking so long to make my drink which will happen with 1 person at the bar, 1 person at the register and no one else insight with a line to the door. They have forgotten my drink 3 times in about 6 months and the some of the staff is not educated on their menu or how to do pour overs. I Dread coming here!

This is easily my least favorite Starbucks in the area(they’re all relatively terrible). Workers are never smiling, they’re often out of ingredients and just an overall lack of warmth. Also, feels dirty in here :(

I am very unhappy about my starbucks experience on 31 July 2015. Specifically with a barista named Chelsea. Let’s start with me the only drinks I order are the java chip frap or the caramel ribbon frap. I ordered my frap zebra style with extra mocha and caramel drizzle. Chelsea was at the end of the line and she handed me my drink. I looked at it and immediately know something was not right. I gave it back to Chelsea and stated where is my mocha drizzle. She looked at the directions on the side and said«oh» and proceed to place the mocha drizzle on the top. I stated to Chelsea that this is not my first ordering this drink why is the drizzle not spread throughout the inside of the cup. She then replied«I did not make the drink.» and she stated that«if I wanted it made right that I needed to tell the person when I order that I want it at the bottom of the cup.» First of all: this is not my first time ordering the drink and second what happened to doing things right. I have never had to tell any starbucks where I order my favorite drink to ensure they place the syrup on the inside of the cup. Thank you Chelsea for stopping me from ever coming back to this Starbucks to get a drink.

I usually go to Starbucks on Walnut by K-Mart or the one off of Whipple Rd. and El Camino Real and both of those have upbeat employees and smile once and a while. But this one was awkward and had a weird vibe. It was pretty busy, waiting in line 2 – 3 minutes I probably waited 6 – 7 minutes after I ordered. Nothing was wrong with my order it was just the employees can at least smile and say good morning to a customer without looking like they are angry and want to slap someone. There was only one who was very nice she was Asian, I couldn’t read her name tag. But good job for looking like you enjoy your job! :)

I came here with my sister and we asked the barista about the evolution fresh smoothies. She recommended the sweet greens with blueberry and kale, and she was actually nice enough to not charge us extra. And even better she made enough to actually fit the excess smoothie in a separate cup. I’ve never had this happen before so it was a pleasant surprise.

I really love this starbucks. The employees are friendly and they remember what I drink and always get it right. My drink is a bit tricky and I have never had a problem. I come in in the morning and at lunch and always have the same great service.

Conveniently located close to my work, but the baristas are not that friendly and need to learn the secret menu items.

This is a nice Starbucks in that there are always seats and tables open. This place is clean and drinks are standard. A nice place to take a break after visiting Best Buy, TJ Maxx, and Pet Smart in the same complex.

I bout two cups of coffee and they came half empty. What in the world… On top of that the store is humid and smells like mold. Don’t get coffee here. What really got me upset was that my coffee came half empty!

Morning customer service on weekdays is horrible. Twice I ordered a simple grande medium roast and twice they forgot about me. Not in the same week, though. Aside from the workers, this location also has no tables open in the mornings(i occasionally come in around 9am to 11am) and some rude patrons. The Starbucks up the street on El Camino and Ralston in Belmont has a much friendlier staff but just as much occupied tables.
