We found Adabell Santana for our wedding by luck. We had only 3 months to prepare for our wedding with very tight budget. It was really hard to find someone in our budget range with great work and trust. What made it even more difficult was that we live in LA but our wedding was in La Mesa. So everything had to be done remotely. When we were looking for a day of coordinator, who unfortunately weren’t available on our big day, but referred Adabell as a wedding photographer. It was a great help because we had a good reference from a professional day of coordinator, who actually knew this person.
Luckily, Adabell was available on our wedding day. She is super detail oriented, very organized, professional not only her artistic work of photographs, but also her business. Her way of business is very easy to deal with. Everything was done over e-​mails and on-​line, such as signing a contract, paying deposit and fee, checking your photos and downloading photos. This helped us a lot since we live 3 hours drive away from San Diego. First of all, she sent us a link to on-​line interview form after signing a contract and paying deposit. Then we had a few SKYPE sessions to make sure she got all the information she needed to capture every moment and every body we would like her to take photos. Then she made her own timeline based on the timeline which our day of coordinator made so that even our day of coordinator knew what she was doing and they could cooperate with each other organizing people and venues for photos. Our day of coordinator loved her since she was so easy to work with! This was a great plus also because we had many different people working on our big day. They contacted each other and made sure all details were taken care of so that I wouldn’t have to keep going back and forth as a messenger. She put all her photos on website for us to browse through and the website is well designed so that you can easily share photos with other SNS, E-​mails, etc.
Her personality and her spirit as professional are awesome. We had a thunder storm on our wedding day unfortunately. She offered us a wedding photo session on following day before we returned our dress and tuxedo without any additional cost since she felt bad we couldn’t have a chance to take photos because of rain. Isn’t she amazing? So many more to say. She offered our engagement photo session and printed one of them to the poster size to put it up on our wedding! She did our pre-​wedding photos, also. Since she studied our guests so well, she captured everybody’s great smiles.
Some of people have preference for a certain kind of style of photos. If you like her photos, which I did, then you won’t have to worry a thing for other stuff. She is on time, replies to you very quickly, and gives attention to details. She helped me with our table setting from her perspective as well when she came to our on site meeting with our day of coordinator and event coordinator. She suggests and helps you with her idea and opinions, but also tries to work with any situation she gets!
It got really long, but all I wanted to say is she is wonderful and awesome! Thank you, Adabell for great photos and helping us on our wedding day!
