As a professional Designer it is hard to find a company as reliable as TaylorPro, but Kerry exceeds all of my expectations. He offers clear and even tempered communication which makes working with him a pleasure, this is not always the case with all contractors. Kerry is exceptional in his attention to detail not jumping to quick decisions but asking for clarification when items rise up during construction. His knowledge of remodeling and his highly ethical approach to construction practices makes him one of the best contractors we partner with. Clients are thrilled with the end project and the quality of their craftsmanship is impeccable. I would not hesitate to recommend TaylorPro Design and Remodeling team. I plan to do continue our professional working relationship — the team is the best! Bonnie

Kerry did a major remodel for us. Knocked out a wall, all new kitchen, redid plumbing etc. I got 6 bids from 6 different contractors because I am that picky and detailed. No one could beat Kerry on price, time and how detailed his bid was. We went $ 350 over budget on a $ 50k+ remodel so I would say that is pretty good. And the reason we went $ 350 above was my fault. I decided, upon Kerry’s recommendation, to have recessed lighting moved in the family room so the lines of the lighting were straight. Let’s just say his work was quick, his staff trustworthy, nice and cleaned up after themselves. Some nights they worked really late but I didn’t mind because I was anxious to have the construction done. They also put up with my two little kids and working parents. He also didn’t push any materials on us. He recommended a cabinet guy and a guy to cut and install or preselected counter tops. Other than that, I did as the other reviewers did and ordered off of Amazon or with GE directly.

–Renovated 3 bathroom countertops & replaced the tile countertops and replaced it with Carrera Marble countertops. — Replaced 7 Faucets in the 5 bathrooms. The work included demolishing the old countertops, clean up, installation of the new marble countertops and changing out 7 faucets to Grohe faucets. I always get at least two quotes before doing a renovation. This was no different. In fact, I originally got a quote from a contractor that our plumber recommended. I went on Angieslist and saw all the wonderful recommendations for him so I emailed for a quote. I was VERY impressed with his responsiveness. In fact, he came over to my house that VERY same day that I emailed to inquire about getting an estimate. Kerry came out & took measurements and we chatted about what I was looking to do. I was VERY impressed with Kerry’s responsiveness. In all my years doing renovations, I’ve found that the contractors that come out the same day are very responsive and I’ve always had good luck. That same night, Kerry forwarded me over a detailed budget that broke everything out in detail. Materials, labor, etc. His budget came out a bit lower than the other contractor that gave me the original quote. When I called the original contractor to thank him for providing a quote but that I was going with another contractor, this company offered to beat Kerry’s price. However, to me it wasn’t worth the small difference because Kerry made such a positive impression on me. I signed the contract the next day and paid a deposit. Something that I especially appreciated was that Kerry wasn’t trying to make money marking up the materials or faucets. I always price things out myself and always go to the store to see what they actually look like. Most times, I just buy items on Amazon as they have everything you can imagine and I’m a Prime customer so I get free 2 day shipping. I noticed the original vendor marked up the faucets and also the cost of the marble. Not a huge amount but enough for me to know that he was trying to use it as a profit center. I never like that as a consumer. I don’t mind contractors making money from their work but I always hated contractors that marked up items to make money off of that portion. This is where Kerry excelled! He immediately told me that I could go out and buy the items myself. He said he didn’t care because he doesn’t mark up and gouge customers on materials. I told him that I did intend to buy the Grohe faucets on . Kerry said that was a good idea. Also, Kerry gave me the name and address of his marble person and I immediately went out and selected a slab of marble and I immediately signed a contract. Kerry gave me an estimate of 3 days for the work. To be objective I will say it took a bit longer. The marble work took longer than expected. They did it over 5 days but on day 4 they were only over 2 hours. I would have preferred to have it all done in 3 days but Kerry was very open and even offered to come out over the weekend(originally they were supposed to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). We had plans over the weekend so we couldn’t be there so we were fine with the extra 2 days which Kerry told me on that Friday. His communication skills and responsiveness are really great. He also understands how important it is to be responsive. That impressed me. I can’t tell you how many contractors over the years lost out on jobs because they were a day late on providing an estimate and I went with someone else. His staff were real pros. Something my wife and I appreciated is that his staff were very tidy. My wife was NOT happy with the last contractor that came over to do some drywall work after we added some lights. He made a MESS all over the house and tracked a mess all over the house. Kerry’s guys were constantly cleaning so it was tidy. We really appreciated this and it’s amazing how many contractors don’t realize how important this is. The marble turned out GORGEOUS! It really changed the look of the bathroom. It’s amazing how something as simple as changing out the countertops gives a bathroom a new look. One thing I was surprised at is just how labor intensive it is to change out faucets. Although I’ve done a lot of renovations, I guess I’ve never been around when they changed out faucets. I didn’t realize it took so long and there were so many parts. I’m not sure if all faucets are like this but the Grohe faucets have a million parts. His staff were great installing them and they look great! A+ and highly recommended.
