Wow! Acupuncturist-​Herbalist-​Massage Therapist Maria Cristina is amazing! She has the hands of an angel. After just a few minutes of her exhilarating Thai treatment, I felt like a new man – like a million dollars – as if I was just going to melt away. By the end, I had firmly decided: this is something I am going to do for myself at least once monthly. She gave me several business cards, which I will pass on to work colleagues. (all of us, working in the Security and Law Enforcement fields, definitely need the said periodic tune up.)

Recently, Maria passed her licensing exams, so not only is she an even more stellar Thai practitioner, but she can practice acupuncture, herbal medicine, Gua Sha, Moxabustion, and nutritional counseling. I have received quite a bit of massages in my life time. I guess you could almost consider me an expert, (almost). Maria Cristina has the healing touch. She is NOT the typical therapist that asks you to lay down and get it over with.
She will sit down with you and talk to you about what is going on. She makes sure to focus on any problem areas. Personally, I have only ever received a thai massage from her. (Although, she offers a wide range of massages.)
I had been curious to try out the thai massage. Once I did it, I enjoyed it so much I just stuck to it. I have major upper back problems. I have chronic pain and stress from my neck down to my upper back. Cristina has used the gua sha with me, which did wonders. Not only did she scrape years of stress off, it also healed a cold that was on it’s way to make my life yet more stressful. I didn’t know, but apparently the gua sha speeds up the process of any illnesses. How it works? I have no idea, it is a mystery to me. All I know is that I can testify to the benefits.
Anytime anyone needs a massage, I recommend Cristina. Soon she will also be licensed to give acupuncture.
