This is the newest installation of Ladybug and it’s great! They moved and are now at 4685 Biona, right off of Adams. The art is mostly done by local artists, and there a great selection of gifts and cards as well!

If you are considering taking classes from this woman — DONOT. Stay away! Run the other way! I don’t know what happened. Maybe a bunch of students skipped out on paying her in the past, but she basically acts like everyone is a deadbeat who’s out to waste her time(which is more valuable than yours, by the way) and won’t take anything seriously. She was so rude to me it almost brought me to tears when we had a misunderstanding about the time I was supposed to be at her office(and I SWEAR I had the right one…) She refused to work with me anymore, said she would refund the amount for my last two classes, and never did. I think she’s running a scam. Anyway, before you pick up the phone to call this woman, go buy Mastering Copperplate Calligraphy on . It has everything you need to know but won’t abuse you on the phone.

the stationery and gifts sold here are kind of kitschy and outdated. they don’t really sell super-cute stuff, but if you look hard enough you might be able to find some cute things. truthfully, i’ve found cuter office supplies at staples and office depot.

A friend of mine needed to buy a BD gift and said to me «Let us go to the gift and card shop on Adams in Kensington». I joked and said… sure. I wish there was a little gift shop in the area. Well, there is! It is right next door to Ponce’s Mexican restaurant and they share the space with a mattress Company. What a Gem of a place. The place was packed with Xmas goodies and at great prices. Not much room to walk around but maybe that is because of all the Xmas stuff. I will be going back for sure. They need better signage so people know they are there.
