Ladybug Art Center in Kensington

This gallery is the cutest place! I stopped in to look around with my 8 year old daughter. She was super hungry so I told her we’d make it quick. Well we stayed for about an hour just memorized by all the different types of art and fun treasures made by local artists. The prices for the art was really good too!
There are a number of rooms with different types of art, and everything is set out and displayed very well. I have to say my favorite pieces are the glass art, specifically the bowls and plates. The colors are so brilliant and pretty. I love the handmade jewelry as well. Super affordable AND fashionable.
My daughter and I were able to talk to the owner and her super nice employee (Louisa) about all the art classes for kids. There was even basket weaving! What a little gem for the little town of Kensington. I love my new glass art necklace. I’ve received so many compliments. OH! And I love the handmade cards too. Go check it out!

I love this little gallery. It’s all local artists with great art on the walls, jewelry, glass and hand blown glass balls. They also offer great art classes taught by the owner. It’s a little hard to find, but it’s at the end of Adams across the street from the new Pappaleccos.

So happy to have this great gallery for local artists in Kensington! The gallery is in an old home with lots of rooms to wander through and look at some beautiful works of art. The prices are reasonable for original works. Can’t wait to take some classes that are offered!

This is a great shop/​gallery that has returned to the Kensington neighborhood! Lots of beautiful artwork by a variety of artists. Perfect for a special gift. Staff is super friendly and knows their stuff. Fun classes are also offered. I look forward to seeing more events here!
