Located at The Westin I’ve been here twice and got great service both times. This time Melissa took care of me. She went out of her way to make my espresso.

Good service… very dissapointing dinner :(Everything we ordered just didnt have any flavor. Cute patio atmosphere but I wont get the pizza again or hummus dip

I wanted to write a review (ahem, rant) about the great injustice I encountered this morning having to fork over $ 4.08 for a bloody Starbucks latte. [BOLD] $ 4.08. But then I quickly reminded myself that the coffee bar where I purchased aforementioned World’s Most Expensive Starbucks Latte is located inside The Westin Emerald Plaza Hotel — one of Downtown San Diego’s premier luxury hotels — and I am fairly certain my $ 4.08 «contribution» barely scratched the surface of The Westin’s monthly utility bill.
Still, I think tenants of the Emerald Plaza’s office tower should be entitled to a 10% discount. I’m just sayin’!
After running 11 miles this morning, the last thing I wanted to do was walk (ahem, crawl) the three blocks to my preferred coffee shop, The Coffee Bean. On days like this, I’m more than willing to pay for the convenience of taking the elevator outside my office to reach the coffee bar in mere minutes.
Anyway, I lost my train of thought.
