Stepped in to get a coffee and the entire café has been remodelled, very nice! New owner, refreshed look, delicious coffee. Looking forward to coming back.

Great local coffee shop! The music is always on point and the atmosphere is conducive to studying, having a conversation, or just relaxing on a weekend. The food is also great! My favorites are the acai bowls and the Italian sodas. The service is always great :)

I really wanted to like this place. Great vibe, close to work. I can’t judge the food, tea, or espresso beverages but… THECOFFEETASTESOLD :(Even the freshly brewed coffee has an old, stale, watery taste. Could not finish even half of it. I love Bird Rock coffee so this has to be a problem with the equipment or they are using old product. At $ 2.50 a cup, it should taste better than 7 – 11. The service was exceptional, the lady behind the counter made me a fresh pot of coffee when I told her my coffee tasted stale and was really sweet, but I would not go back here(ever) for my usual coffee + cream. Would give them another chance to try their tea though, because like I said, I really WANT to like this place!

I went back in here recently and there is a new owner. The place is clean and sleek, the service is wonderful, the coffee is delicious and the food is too! The iced drinks are now shaken so they’re nice and cold. I’ll definitely be going back more often.

I had the opportunity to revisit this fine coffee shop after learning that they had remodeled and made some changes. I ordered the ham and Swiss sandwich in a everything bagel. They were out of Swiss cheese, so I went for the Pepper Jack cheese, which turned out to be a good thing. I also had the young lady at the counter make me a Café au Lait. The Café au Lait was very well made. It was smooth with just the right amount of hot milk that gave it that mild creaminess and the dark roast I had them make it with was deliciously robust and flavorful. Well done. The everything bagel was halved and well toasted and to my surprise, also well hot pressed onto a panini grill. As a result, the Pepper Jack cheese was well melted throughout and tasted quite peppery I may add. The ham, I am not sure what type it was, but it was quite good and had a light flavor. I asked for a light amount of cream cheese on the bagels and that was what received. Nice service. I do recommend that they carry butter if they are going to offer toasted bagels. I would of preferred the butter, but the cream cheese worked nicely as well. The remodel looks great by the way. It’s bright and inviting and quite comfortable as well. They offer free Wi-Fi, but you have to ask for the password.

Cage Vicino has new ownership and they did a really good job of remodeling the inside. It’s a much simpler design that gives off a more relaxing environment which is what I like from a coffee spot. So much less clutter now Coffee and tea here is great and service is great

Love the barista Christina! She makes everyone feel welcome and at home. I had the mango spinach and orange smoothie. It was delicious. I really recommend this place!

This place is going through some changes… Hopefully it returns to its greatness. The shop has had a few ownership changes over the past couple years. It needs to find it’s vibe and stabilize. The prices are a little on the high side and there are few snacks to choose from now. There used to be pastries and fruit but they have gone away. I really like the location and hope this place gets it together.

Just mowed down the best Acai bowl ever. I chose the apple juice option. Highly recommend you try this. Wish I had ordered a large one instead of a small. Also got a muffin he size of my head I’m stoked to eat later. Thanks so much!

Best peanut butter Frappuccino that I ever had(and I’m comparing to other coffee shops in other countries). The croissants appear to be made with REALBUTTER, European style. I enjoyed my Mocha Espresso. Friendly barristas.

The drinks and food items and bakery items are really good. I totally recommend the lavender chai and their scones, absolutely delicious. The only reason for the 3 star review is that consistently I’ve had to wait for 15 – 25 min for my order(yes I have timed it) for the last four times that I’ve been in the shop. It’s just not worth it to me. No scone or coffee drink is worth that, even for supporting a local shop. Sorry, but having one barista trying to accommodate a ton of people and morning orders just isn’t in a customer’s best interest. I completely realize that may just be the limitation to this coffee shop, and props to you if you have nothing better to do than wait around, but I will save my time and go elsewhere for similar drinks and prices.

Super cute small local coffee shop. Got a large acai and the price was worth it considering how big the portion was. I got it blended with apple juice and it was delicious. Overall, good prices with good portions. Loved it! Can’t wait to try other things on the menu.

Great small local coffee shop. I enjoy their Acai bowl. Their coffee is great. They have a small but nice selection of baked goods and sandwiches as well. They have a big variety of specialty drinks and smoothies which are really good.

Super small café. Small selection of foods but their turkey pesto panini is really good!!! $ 7 for that and some chips, so prices are reasonable. I feel like this is a place for locals or regulars, you get an at-home feeling when you’re here. The girl that took my order was really nice and gave me a cup of water w/out me having to ask. I’ll be back if I’m ever in the area :) Btw, super small lot but plenty of street parking near-by!

White chocolate mocha … to die for! This is a neighborhood café where the owners are super sweet and interested in the community. Love this place for a gourmet cup of coffee and some chill time. Wish I lived in the neighborhood so I could come more often! … next time I would like to try the acai bowl.

This is a great little coffee shop with plenty of offerings. You have to try the Acai bowl — I prefer it made with soy for an extra creamy flavor. If you live in the area show them some love!

After a 3+ mile run at Mission Bay park I was in need of a post workout snack! I’m a big fan of coffee shops and always down to support locals! So I decided to try this place out. This café is a hidden gem! It’s located in a small complex next to a busy hair salon(parking can be tough. but it’s manageable). The café itself is on the smaller side, but it has enough room for tables and chairs which are very cozy and nice. It has free wifi and a good place to study and do work. The design of the place is very cute, catches the eye, and entertaining. They have a large selection of teas, blended drinks(with cutesy creative names), coffees, snacks, and sandwiches. The employees were nice and the owners were very down to earth and good company. — I ordered the turkey swiss pesto on Rye which came with chips and a free coffee or tea. — the sandwich took some time to make. but I didn’t mind because I was in good company and in no rush — Moroccan mint tea. I can see why people love it, but to me it taste like medicine. so I wasn’t a fan. — turkey swiss pesto sandwich, it was a good size and it was filling and delicious! I loved it :) I did not try any coffee on my first visit, but I will be back again after my runs at mission bay to try more! 1 – 5 Scale Appearance(place): 4 Appearance(food): 4.5 Service: 4 Taste: 4 Mouth feel: 4 Overall: 4
