Coffee not too impressive although atmosphere is pretty and kids corner is cute. Terrible ice cream if they still have it.

This is a great place for small meetings or to work alone. I love the tea variety, and the coffee is also good. The food is real — especially love creating my own egg sandwich combination with out-of-the box ingredients like sundried tomato basil spread(and others) and veggies. It’s pretty small, which keeps the noise at a good level. The surrounding area has plenty of parking.

Very cute & quiet shop in a great area! It’s a fairly large shop with a big window that gives great natural lighting. Very kid friendly, with a whole area for kids to play with a huge chalk board and toys. Every time I come in it smells absolutely delicious and the food always looks amazing! A little pricy and the sizes aren’t very large but they have a large variety of teas & different flavors.

They don’t have a huge selection, but they have some great teas. I always find it funny when a coffee house has a system where they have to steep the tea for you, like I can’t be trusted to steep my tea for the appropriate amount of time. I know they probably have a loose-leaf device that they can’t just give me. I’d rather they had a loose leaf pot I could take to my table if I’m going to be staying there. But it’s still weird. Apparently I’m a picky tea-service person. The staff is courteous. It gets a little drafty on cold days. There aren’t many tables, but there’s always been plenty of space when I go there.

Great coffee, they now use Klatch beans, top notch stuff, usually rated #1 or 2 on most top coffee roaster lists in USA. I even buy my beans here for my home Chemex drip. Prices are very affordable, my usual white mocha is under $ 5 and I use the BPC tall mug, which is super sweet. The food is great, toasted bagels, egg sandwiches, cravery cookies, you name it, there is enough options to munch on. Seating is good for the space, but it is always crowded in the mornings(the down side to success!) so get there early for a good spot. Dogs and kids welcome. Glad I live off Napier, easy morning walk for me!

These guys are fantastic. I walk my dogs here a lot of mornings and the staff here couldn’t be any nicer. It’s a well kept secret and I am so happy we have them in the neighborhood. They always come pet my dogs, ask how our days are and are just super nice overall. The coffee is great and consistent and they have awesome breakfast sammies, too!

Great coffee, they get beans from Klatch . The customer service is awesome, the lady that helped me was very kind and that makes the coffee that much better.

Great little spot, better seating area and overall vibe compared to other cafes in the Bay Park area. I’m not sure why so many people are saying the coffee is overpriced, I got something off the creations menu in their largest size and it was $ 4.75… seems fair enough to me? Latte was delicious(I think lattes just taste better with there’s cute latte art?). Easily found parking & a place to sit and study on a Saturday morning. This will definitely be my weekend coffee stop. :-)

I work next-door to Bay Park Coffee and I am so grateful for the service they provide our community. My co-workers would be worthless without that extra caffeine boost. I’ve had every beverage on the menu and still haven’t settled on a favorite. The Mate Latte is SUCH a treat if you’re in the mood for a high calorie, high cream, frothie delight. The fresh brewed teas come in such a variety you could try a different one everyday for a month. The coffee flavors are always changing, always delicious, and always fresh brewed. They offer soy milk, almond milk, organic whole milk, agave, honey, sugar and simple syrups – trust that your taste preference will be accommodated. BPC’s food really hits the spot too, especially when in the mood for a panini or acai bowl. Their staff is absolutely charming. Every barista is warm, welcoming and coffee competent. The manager is lovely and tireless in her work. I’ve seen her handle 5 customers at a time all with a smile on her face and no one to help her. The owners are a really pleasant couple who genuinely care about creating a space where the community can come together. They have a great corner for kids to play in and not bother the number of people working on their computers or having business meetings. The art on the walls is constantly changing and always provided by local artists. Dogs are welcome outside-there’s a hitching post and water dish. They use Belly rewards points so you can earn free drinks, food, and BPC shirts. They offer discounts to people who bring their own cup or bring back the cardboard heat sleeve to reuse. Whenever possible they provide reusable cups, utensils and dishes. They used to offer their old grounds to anyone who wanted to compost. This is what a local business SHOULD look like. I checked out some other reviews to see how this place could possibly have only 4 stars. You may notice that poor reviews only come from customers who were just stopping in and had a one-off bad experience. That can happen anywhere. Think artificially flavored sweeteners make your drink taste artificial and sweet? Skip ordering that in the future or let them know immediately and I am positive they will make you a new one. Don’t like a variety of music in a shared space? Stay home or drink your coffee in the car where you control the stereo. No need for the baristas, who are there all day, to suffer because electronic music is not your personal preference(for the record, in the 3 years I have been visiting this place I have never heard house, BPM or electronic played). It’s a shame that faux coffee snobs are preventing this amazing local business from getting the 5 star rating it deserves. In my eyes they are top-notch. **ALSO, if they brought back the Fro-Yo machine I wouldn’t be mad.**

Friendly workers and great vibes! I’m not from around the area, but decided to stop by for a wake-me-up drink. I had the iced tropical green tea and really enjoyed it! still a little drunk from last night so hope I remember this place. Best coffee EVER!!! 5 stars!

This has been a great addition to Bay Park. There are a few other coffee spots in the neighborhood but the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff keeps me coming back for more. There’s a nice nook for kids to play in, comfy chairs inside and outside. Art work in there is always changing since they allow local artists to hang their pictures/paintings. Great coffee breakfast as well as treats like cookies, scones and croissants. Check it out I think you’ll like it.

Came here cause I was thirsty and hubby had a coupon for a free iced tea. You can never go wrong with free! I went with a fruity tea. I forgot what was in it but the guy was telling me it had hints of fruit flavor in it. While waiting for my iced tea to be made, we sat down on the chairs inside. He called out my order in 5 minutes. I went up there and took a sip. It was good. It tasted more of a passion fruit flavor. It was hard to distinguish the flavor even if he didn’t tell me what it was. It was a blend of couple of fruity flavors that I couldn’t taste but overall it was good for iced tea since I love drinking iced tea. This place has a section for the kids to play in. I thought that was pretty cool! I definitely love kid friendly places. The vibe is chill and reminds me of a Starbucks but more of a family owned vibe. I haven’t tried any of their pastries or food items but this place was pretty cool. I definitely want to come back to try the food items. Great hang out place!

When you hear people say«this place is a gem!» this is the type of place they are talking about. I have a feeling once the secret gets out, this place won’t be quite so gemmy. In the mean time enjoy: Ample seating, plentiful parking, customizable smoothies, free wifi, open windows, gratiz lemon water, cheerful staff, quiet studying, and local coffee from Bird Rock Coffee Roasters. PS: they totally have a little area for kiddoz!

For the coffee drinker, Bay Park Coffee and Tea met my expectations while getting my car serviced at Volkswagen down the street one morning. For breakfast, this venue can get lively, and the expressos are fixed very strong(nothing wrong about that). For breakfast items, you can purchase egg & cheese sandwiches on a bagel and other wraps. I thought that I saw a sandwich press machine, yet it wasn’t in use. Bummer, since I would have easily purchased a cuban sandwich in the morning! For the most part, you really can create your own sandwich options. I noticed that there were chai teas and other lattes served, which is always good. WiFi is very good. The seating areas are limited in space, yet its not so terrible. The décor in this venue is really relaxing, and the baristas(usually 2 – 3 employees) are prompt in service. Overall, this venue is near perfect and truly made my morning a welcome experience.

Stopped in here on my way back from a run and it was just what I needed. Great and fast service. I had an Indian spice chai and the eggs & cheese on an English muffin. I love chai but I prefer mine not to be so milky. The chai was tasty but more sweet than spicy. I’ll probably try a different style of chai next time(there are at least 3 – 4 types!). For those of you who love coffee, there is a good variety and a lot of the same drinks you’ll find at any good café. I enjoyed the small breakfast sandwich as well. The English muffin was tasty and had the right amount of crunch. The egg was fluffy and fresh. My only complaint would be that the slice of cheddar cheese they put in the sandwich wasn’t really melted, so at times I felt like the cheese overpowered the rest of the sandwich and I’d only get bites of cheese instead of eggs + cheese. This is just a preferential thing, but at least the cheese was really good and not a crappy Kraft single. Overall, great quick breakfast stop and I will definitely be back again!

Went here for a quick, informal business meeting. This is a barebones coffee shop that might not ooze with atmosphere, but is very much a local hangout and definitely not a mega-chain espresso mill. My cappuccino was excellent. The foam light and creamy and the espresso(decaf even) deliciously dark with a balancing hit of acidity. The plain croissant, while not a fantasy of buttery flakiness, was quite good. On my one visit easily ¾ of the seats were occupied by laptop users, many wearing headphones, and no music played. The conversation that did go on was subdued to a low murmur. It felt a bit more like a study hall than some place to meet friends for a convivial conversation. Which, if you’re looking for a place to study or work, is perfect.

WHAT A GEM! Bay Park is seriously coming up with more and more of these delightful diamonds in the rough lately! This place is exactly what I envision when I think of an ideal coffee shop that I love to come to. Its clean, cute, innovative, great drinks, great food and great staff. My favorite drink BYFAR is the dirty chai with almond milk(aka regular spiced chai with almond milk and an add shot). It is PERFECT every time. I don’t know how they make it so well or differently than other coffee houses but it is SO much better here. They also have an exciting full menu and everything looks really good! The vibe is very relaxing and cozy, I could hang out in there all day. If you haven’t gone yet, definitely give it a shot!

This coffee shop has a lot to offer from great coffees, loose leaf teas, and some good eats as well. That being said, I had the very nice young ladies make me a large Americano, a breakfast Florentine sandwich on a wheat bagel, a Cravory Lemon cookie. The Americano, made from Bird Rock Coffee Roaster’s beans was very good. I full favored and rich with a slight sourness at the end. The Florentine sandwich was very good as well and came with piled high with fluffy eggs on a great toasted but chewy wheat bagel. The eggs were lightly seasoned, tasted great, and was intermix with freshly chopped spinach. The pesto was very delicious and had a good herb flavor. I liked that they were very generous with the spread. Oh yes, coupled with the melted nutty provolone, I was in heaven after each bite. A great breakfast sammi to get the day started. They also offer baked goods and some are from the Cravory in which I partook if a decadent lemon cookie after my breakfast sandwich to satisfy my sweet tooth. They offer a strong WiFi signal and you need to ask the staff for the password. Speaking of the staff, they were all very nice and helpful during my visit.

Bay Park Coffee is my new favorite coffee spot! The owners are super super friendly and very accommodating. They care about you and your experience. They have a good variety of organic specialty drinks which is a plus for me as I like to try new things and experiments. What’s really awesome is that there is a cool little nook for children that has books, toys and even an iPad. I love that it’s kid-friendly!!! I haven’t seen any other coffee shop that also cater to children! The owner even gave my son a little baby treat! If you are looking for a neighborhood style coffee joint, this is a good one. Free wi-fi, lots of indoor(and outdoor) seating, and free parking too :))
