Cold food and too many things forgotten. The chef came out and apologized. Won’t go back

Food is very average! Nothing really surprising or honestly impressive! They do open late, so it helps after a long day at work or plans with friends. Margaritas, fajitas, and dessert, etc.

The server was pleasant and years to make sure I was satisfied The baby back ribs were ok. Nothing special but not bad. It’s a typical chain restaurant so I don’t expect much. It’s like a Denny’s only specializing in burgers, BBQ and the like.

I went here yesterday because I had placed an order to-go. Used the Chili’s app to place the order(convenient) and scheduled for an 11am pick up. I got there at exactly 11am. Walked in and asked if we could actually just eat the order there instead. My friend and I had an hour lunch break and last time we went here they took FOREVER to get us just two sandwiches. When I asked if I could eat there instead of taking it to go. they were SO rude. «Well I don’t think so, we’re usually pretty busy during the lunch hour. Let me see if you guys can eat outside or something.» UhH okay. So she asked another waitress who was also rude and said«yeah we don’t do that. you can sit outside I guess but it’s cold.» So I said«K thanks.» So she escorted me to the outside patio and said«I’ll try and find a waitress to come out and see if you guys need anything.» I don’t know what the big deal was. It was super SLOW! They had JUST opened. I was so disappointed and disgusted with their UNFRIENDLY service! After all that. I was glad that we had stayed there to eat and we didn’t take it to-go because our order was incomplete. We had ordered a turkey sandwich lunch combo that was SUPPOSED to come with a side salad. and it was missing. We opened up out to-go boxes and saw a few fries with no salad. Walked inside and complained. of course the chick at the to-go counter was annoyed to see me again. Let her know we didn’t get our salad so she made me stand there for a while, then I finally asked her if she could take a short walk to the patio when the salads are ready. I’m done with this place. HORRIBLE customer service.

We visited for lunch over the weekend with two kids. The restaurant wasn’t too busy that Saturday around 1130a and the hostess who sat us was friendly and hospitable. There’s an iPad device on each table which charge $ 1.99 or so for games. Not sure if there’s a way to opt out of it but friend didn’t think so. Children’s menu is cute: the child chooses between a side, a small entrée, and a drink. I think it was about $ 6+ or so. We chose the $ 20DINNERFORTWO which had great choices. Friend opted for the chicken & canitas fajitas and I chose the half rack of ribs. We ordered the Half portion of Texas Cheese Fries as our shared app. I wish the waiter told us that my ribs came with a side of french fries as we would have ordered something OTHER than french fries for the app. The ribs were dry but the bbq sauce on the ribs was tasty. We liked the generous portion for the fajitas dish. Our waiter was ok. We waited for refills a few times and had to remind him on the last request. The location is convenient if you’re in the area and there was plenty of parking that day. I’d recommend trying theri $ 20 dinner for Two as it’s a pretty great deal for what you get. Just make sure to order an appetizer that doesn’t appear on your entrée(s). Quick tip: You can pay your entire bill(plus gratuity) on the iPad that is on your table. This was extremely convenient and we liked how it prints out a receipt right from the iPad!

Been to this location a couple of times. Enough to be recognized by the waiter. They sat is near the window & we closed the blinds since the sun was blinding us. We went for the two for $ 20 meal. Ribs with loaded mashed potato & Panko onion rings. I ordered a skinny Rita which was refreshing. I was hoping to try the watermelon margarita but didn’t see it I the menu. Also ordered fresh guacamole w/chips. Which the consistency of the guacamole was thick it broke the tortilla chips. I enjoyed the Panko onion rings. They had a spicy seasoning on top. I ate most of them lol! The ribs were alright, tasted over cooked and not as great as I remember. Also not enough bbq sauce on top. I’m sure if I asked they would have brought me more. I didn’t try the mashed potatoes but they looked like they were smothered in cheese. I’d come back for HH

The 6 ounce steak with lemon rice pilaf and skillet mashed potatoes is my favorite dish on the menu. For $ 12 you get a good sized steak and tasty sides. Make sure you ask one level above how you want your steak cooked, as i’ve been served steak sashimi here before. So now I get the medium well, and it comes out medium rare.

Food was OK here, but service was spotty. Had to ask for utensils. Plus water got to empty before anyone came by to fill it up.

This location was a little tricky to find since its next to a hotel you just turn into jus parking lot and you’ll find chilis inside the parking lot winds there’s no real street turn to get to chilis parking lot Dinner 2 for $ 20! There’s a specific list of appetizers you can choose from and 2 entrees. If you feel like driving some margaritas I would suggest opting with the 2 for $ 35! Opted with the Texas cheese fries. Decided to get the 6oz house sirloin that comes with mashed potatoes and bacon burger that comes with fries. Yuuum! The Texas cheese fries were extremely stale and the cheese looks like it was just microwaved. The bacon bits were hard as rocks and even though it was pretty bad if you dip it in lots of ranch, everything gets better. The house sirloin was suppose to be medium well but it was more medium, bloody and way too chewy for my liking but it was still decent. The mashed potatoes were good except the cheese on it I wasn’t so fond of it. All of their cheese looks microwaved on top. The bacon burger fries were perfect. The burger itself was juicy but lacked flavor. The bread on the burger was very dry. The chocolate chip cookie dessert was fantastic! Just like a pizookie. Probably my favorite thing here. I can’t wait to taste the molten lava cake! Our server was very nice and attentive. This other woman who brought my food our from the kitchen seemed upset and sassy. Pros — business area — yummy dessert — great service — lots of options Cons — shared lot with hotel — mediocre Mexican food

Such great deals on their food and great place for families with young kids. When it’s busy, service can be a little rough but I guess that’s with most places. Other than that can’t complain.

Its a fairly clean chilis with a decent bar, patio, and restaurant seating. Their TOGO order counter is usually on point as well. Great place to stop for a drink if there is traffic and have some fries. No it is not Ruths Chris or Donnovans, but it also is not Denny’s or McDonalds(Full disclosure, I eat at all these places). I don’t know how I could give the restaurant 5 stars, unless it became so cheap that it was insane not to eat there based on price. Its a good restaurant with a good location, happy hour from 3pm-7pm on certain days and fits the bill. Their 2 for $ 20 is a great option. Enjoy! –Matt

Came here for a company lunch so my coworkers and I basically showed no self restraint and ordered whatever seemed like a good idea at the time. Let me just say, Chili’s is REALLY good at frying things [onion rings, chips, egg rolls, cheese, anything on the sampler: not bad ] …but other than that everything else is just okay. They’re definitely cooking your other dishes with at least 3 – 4 more tablespoons of oil/butter/salt than they need to because i did NOT feel good about myself afterwards. Pretty cool that you pay off of an ipad i’ll give them that. Would only recommend coming here for happy hour drinks and maybe just order off of the appetizer menu because thats where they excel at.

Great food and awesome service. We were served by guy name Jason or someone… He was nice and very friendly. And most highly likely we would definitely go there once again. If you’re going there for dinner or for few booze… Just ask for smoked chicken wings on appetizers… Thats pbr of the best chicken wings i ever had…

Pretty good for my biased opinion. I’m not a fan of chain restaurants or the Americano or cheesy interpretation of Tex-Mex food. This place is better than your average Chill’s. Had to come here for a business meeting driven by location. This place is packed. They have regulars and a good business coming from the hotel they share the lot with. Mediocre beer selections but strong happy hour prices. We had a hard time being seated. We were standing for a long time. Comical how bad it was. Highly recommend the patio to get away from the noise and congestion. Menu is typical. Nothing appealed to my preferences, so I went with a turkey club and Green Flash IPA draft. The club was pretty good. Downside was processed turkey and too much tomato. The avocado and fries saved the day. If they just concentrated on quality over fluff size presentation, it could be a decent sandwich. Strong fries coming out of here. I only come to Chilli’s in a pinch. This one is one of the better one’s, but could improve a lot.

Get the $ 20 dinner for two! You get an appetizer, an entrée with two sides which is more than enough food. And did I tell you you can get 6oz steak with this deal?! Such a good deal if you want a cheap steak. You can also upgrade to get a bigger steak for an extra $ 3. I usually get the steak with corn on the cob and loaded mashed potatoes with the spiced panko onion rings as an appetizer. My boyfriend and I just order Chili’s to go which is super convenient because you can just order from your phone, tablet or whatever. Then you get to eat in the comfort of your own home. They also give you utensils so you have no dishes to do. I’ve eaten inside also. They have lots of happy hour deals and the service was great. I’ll definitely be back as long as they have the $ 20 dinner for two deal.

As soon as we entered we were seated. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were welcomed! As soon as we ordered our food it didn’t take long. We ordered appetizers and once they were brought out our food was already ready. Everything was tasty and I enjoyed the onion rings. My burger wasn’t dry at all and the fries were seasoned just right. They have their deal 2 for $ 20 and most of the selection was on the menu which was awesome. This is by far one of the best Chili restaurants I’ve been too!

My wife and I had an hour to kill before seeing a movie at AMC La Jolla on Friday. I had a $ 20 gift card to Chili’s so we stopped in on the way over. I rarely eat at sit-down restaurant chains with so many excellent local San Diego restaurants and it has been a long time since I’ve eaten at a Chili’s. We walked into the bar section around 5:15pm and there was plenty of seating available. I signed up on their email club beforehand to take advantage of their free chips and queso offer(with purchase of entrée). Their chips are very thin which I like a lot but I would prefer some more salt on them for my liking but I also love salt. Their salsa is the non chunky type which I prefer. We finished a large basket so the server brought us out a second serving if you want to keep eating more. For my entrée I went with what I used to order which is the oldtimer burger(no cheese) with fries for $ 7.59. Their menu selection looks better than it used to. Plating also looks better with small little tins for your fries and pickles instead of just plopping them on the plate. I enjoyed my burger, one of my more favorite casual sit-down chain burgers. I usually like their fries but the ones I received didn’t taste freshly made. Our server in the bar was Cathy and she was excellent. Our food and drinks came out quickly. She was very friendly and checked on us constantly with refills. My wife and I left full and happy, both of us would come back.
