Come On In Cafe

This place just recently took over the only restaurant spot in our commercial office park. Since we have no other options nearby, I’ve tried a few things there over the past couple of weeks. The bagel breakfast sandwich was greasy but cheap and filling. The tuna sandwich was adequate. But today I tried the egg salad sandwich and I have to say, I’ll never go back. For the love of all that is holy, NEVER order the egg salad. The fact that a deli would even serve this yellow-​fluid-​filled roll with a singular piece of lettuce tells me that they don’t give a damn about you or the items they sell. I tried to choke down a few bites as it dripped all over. I feel like I still have the grease on my stained hands. I saw slivers of egg mixed with celery but mostly just oozing yellow mayonnaisey liquid which formed a layer almost as thin as the lettuce. The owners should be embarrassed. How are there so many of these places? Do they only exist where they have a monopoly? I feel sick now. Please let these not be my last words…
