Waited 2 hours the lady’s at the front not friendly. took there time! Would not recommend coming here in a weekend or with a big group. They wouldn’t take reservations but that’s why we wanted to make reservations to avoid this problem. Very disappoint

I was contacted by the management of the restaurant. She was super apologetic and concerned about the quality of our visit. We were sent a gift certificate to return to the corvette diner, we haven’t used it yet. Kudos to the company for caring enough to reach out and try to make things right. Will update upon our redo visit.

Loud, Obnoxious, and Downright Fun. It’s a must try if you have kids. A few odds and ends. — I’ve been here several times and I’d say the food is-what-it-is. It’s comfort diner food and you might as well just accept that and have a good time. If I had any recommendation it would be to stay safe and familiar with your choice. Splurge for a milkshake! — Balloons are free, but I tip about $ 2 per balloon creation. — The Pain Points are real. First it’s loud! Secondly there will always be a wait to eat here. Third, the location sucks as well as the parking on a crowded night. Set expectations accordingly and you’ll have a blast.

I remember coming here with my family as a child, it’s much better now! You walk in there’s always a few people in front of you to be seated, No big deal… we walked to the next room, THERESANARCADE! We killed our wait time there we were seated in no time. The server told us her favorite milk shakes, we ordered exactly what she said to, WELOVEDIT! Our food was good. Overall it was a fun time not to mention if you ask them to play with your hair theyll give you a straw up due, fun place for family’s with kids.

First time here, Came for my daughter birthday celebration, truly had a great time. They live DJ, more games than chuckle cheese and dancing waitress’s. Really have to be there to enjoy it

Reaaaaaally good food!!! I had the breakfast at Tiffany burger and it was delicious. Not to mention one of the BEST oreo milkshakes I’ve ever had in my lifeeeee :) My daughter had the marshmallow kids shake and to me personally, it was really sweet but she loved it!!! Other than the one hour wait the service was really good. They have like an arcade area to help pass the time which is AWESOME when you need to entertain the kiddos. My waiter was really nice, food didn’t take long at all. And they do dances!!! It was soo cute everyone is dressed in 60s themed outfits and they line up in the center of the restaurant and dance it’s adorable. Overall I will definitely be going back.

I’ve always enjoyed my experiences here. My family and I usually come here for special occasions. We’ve never had a bad experience with a waiter or waitress. The staff is always friendly. The food is good(although I never stray from the one thing I always happen to get lol). For as busy as it was tonight, my family and I got our food fairly quickly!

Who wouldn’t enjoy dining in an All The Cats Join In/malt shop?!! I grew up going to Corvette Diner. My two sisters and I made some great childhood memories here. It makes me happy to see this place is still around and is still bringing that blast from the past, upbeat, good vibe to San Diego. From the music, the servers/twist dancers, colorful retro décor, the food and how they named each dish after big stars, and now something new –the gaming garage with lots of classic gaming machines. Everything about this place will leave you smiling. If you’re celebrating a birthday(heads up, the don’t take reservations) a group of servers come out to sing, dance and serve you HUGE mountain of cotton candy, topped with a marshmallow, topped with a candle. A real life candy crush –it was a hit for the kids. Customer service is excellent, very attentive through out our whole meal. The music they play — hit after hit! I came for the shakes. They didn’t disappoint –My Oreo shake(creamy, thick with chunks of oreo in every spoonful, just the way I like it) hit the spot. I like this new location. We came here on a Thursday evening. The parking was easy and the wait was fast. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love the atmosphere of this place… the music, the waitresses in poodle skirts, the dancing, the memorabilia on the walls and ceiling. Our server was Felix, he was super friendly and entertaining. We ordered the garbage platter for an appetizer which had a little something for everyone. I had the orangesicle shake, which was amazing. I shared the shake with my 13 year old son and the server split it into 2 cups, and we still didn’t finish our portions. So keep that in mind if you don’t have a huge appetite… the shakes are ginormous! For my entrée I had The Big Cheese, which is a grilled cheese with tomato on sourdough. I could only eat half but I brought the rest home to enjoy later. A lot of people complain about the wait, but we use that time to play in the arcade. We were told the wait would be 25 min but we were having so much fun, it felt like it went by in 5 minutes. Highly recommend this fun place to anyone with kids, or to bring company from out of town. It’s a very memorable experience.

I’ve been here a hand full of times merely because our son LOVES it. For me, it’s a stimulus overload with long waits, fair service and terrible food. It’s hard to mess up a milkshake, so you’re safe there, but otherwise the food is just not good. I have never gone here without waiting for a seat, waiting for drinks, waiting for food, waiting for the bill… I’m finally writing a review because my parents were in town and our son asked to go. Around 2pm we waited 40 minutes for a seat, on a Monday. I’ve noticed a decline and I think this is a great place for kids, hopefully they can make some adjustments to really make this place awesome!

The waits are long as hell because your time does not start until your entire party is there… However, we love this place! We come every year for New years(long wait lol) with the familys. Kids love it and they can be as loud as they want. I wish I could invest in this place! Once you accept the wait… It’s all good!

ASKFOREUGENE! The man is a huge entertainer!!! I loved his personality! The shakes… holy crap they are HUGE! The coke floats were giant also and made a huge mess, but we loved them! The burger with peanut butter sounded interesting, but I went with the jalapeño one! Delicious! Go big or go home. Get the waffle fries!

I came here yesterday and had a blast! The service was great! As soon as we walked in the door, we got seated. We did not have to wait. Our waited was amazing… I did not get his name ;(but we were in the dark room. It was awesome! The food… Omg had I not forgotten how delicious the food was, I would not have waited so long to come again. Try the Hawaiian 5.0 or 5 – 0 burger without the wasabi. Omg it’s so delicious. The brownie fudge sundae is to die for. Next time I will ask without the whip cream because there’s already so much going on in the dessert already. It’s a scoop of vanilla ice cream, hot brownie with chocolate on top and marshmallow sauce! Anyway I will come here again!

Best place ever!!! I felt like a kid in the candy store!!! There was so much going on between the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s! We sat in the 50’s and as I danced and sung along with the dancer I felt nostalgic and I was born in the 80’s haha! This is like heaven for kids! My 1 year old laughed and laughed and clapped her hands while watching the performers. Our waiter was beyond awesome and the food was served fresh and hot. I never knew such a family kid friendly place existed! very cool them and the arcade in the back is great for the older kiddos! Have a Bow made in your hair out of straws, a balloon animal made, or get a little crazy with an order of cotton candy! Whether your 1 or 50 or somewhere in between you are sure to have a good time with Elvis around!

This place has some seriously awesome décor and atmosphere. It’s always crowded — so go on off times — and they don’t take reservations. For those of us that are parents, I warn of the noise and insanity. When you walk in, the host table is right in front. If you turn left and go down the hall, there are bathroom halfway down the hall on the right and a small arcade at the end. You buy a game card at the table where the prizes are and points get added to it. They give you a beeper to carry until your table is ready. There are a number of different areas to sit. Right behind the hostess table is the front section. It’s loud and bright. There is a dark neon sitting area behind that and a large back area for larger parties next to that — which is bright. It’s loud in the whole place. Really loud. I have 4 kids screaming all of the time and I thought it was loud kind of loud. When the waiter came up, he threw about thirty straws in the air that fell on to our heads and table. Kids loved it, we weren’t so ready for it. The waiter was pretty awesome — although he was like a over aged over energetic cartoon character. He was a good 10 years older than the waitresses there. They were so energetic that it was difficult to have a conversation with him… he kept jumping in halfway through my question assuming he knew what I was going to ask. Halfway through the meal, they do a coordinated dance to a song they blast over the speakers. The kids absolutely loved it. Overall, it was a great experience and the kids absolutely loved it. Will be a little more prepared next time we go.

This place looks amazing and seems like it will be amazing, but the wait time of over an hour every time we have ever gone is too much. We recently went for my daughter’s birthday and we were lucky enough to grab bar seats one by one for the six of us, while we waited. After awhile we decided to just order there as we had waited for an hour with nothing. We got our meal, drinks, even a celebration from the servers for our daughter and still no buzz on our machine. We were there for almost two hours and our buzzer never went off. Thankfully we had snatched those seats when we did or we would have starved that night. Not somewhere we will go back to anytime soon. Too long of a wait. We experienced it, and we can live another day experiencing other amazing places in San Diego.

Fun 50s themed diner that really sticks true to the theme and feel of the decade. The waitresses are all dressed to match with huge hair dos. The BF and I sat in the glow and the dark room. It was groovy. He ordered the Rory burger. It was full of peanut butter. Gross. But actually not gross. I don’t even like peanut butter but I thought it was pretty tasty. He ate it all up. I had the tuna melt and I loved it. The tuna was chopped up so fine it was melt in your mouth delicious! I haven’t eaten tuna in so long but it was so good I want more. I paid the two dollars extra for some tots instead of fries. I love tots and they were good. The portions were huge and super rich and filling so I only ate half my burger. If I weren’t so full I definitely would’ve ordered a milkshake. They looked so good. They make a peanut butter chocolate banana one that was calling my name but I’ll have to save that til next time.

I’m so glad I was able to find this place ! It’s such a unique restaurant that’s decorated in way that represents a true diner from way back when. It was literally a blast from the past feel. My boyfriend and I saw the long line for the wait to get a table so we easily left and went to their arcade(gamers garage) to help pass by the time until the line died down and we were able to get a seat as quickly as possible. We came back about an hour later and the hostess was able to seat us immediately. She sat us in the most coolest part of their restaurant! The black-lit glow in the dark area. The décor and theme to this part of the restaurant was so cool ! They even had loud music playing and had line dancing throughout the restaurant. We were immediately greeted by one of the servers who were dressed so dainty in their attire. We ordered the kookie burger and the macho nacho burger which included a side of fries. I really liked mine because it had mushrooms in it which were really tasty in flavor. My boyfriend got their macho nacho burger UPGRADED which he didn’t finish because it was a pretty hefty burger but he throughly enjoyed it. We had to bring some home for leftovers but our overall dining experience was a good one.
