I generally fly with Southwest out of Terminal 1, but for those times that I have a super early morning flight out of Terminal 2 you only have the options of this place, McDonalds, and Starbucks. Given that this place is in the airport, and all food coming in needs to pass through TSA requirements and the kitchen is fairly limited I was keeping my expectations pretty low. However, I wouldn’t recommend any of pannis for breakfast. They’re just the pre-packaged horribleness and for something like that, you would be better with going to the McDonalds. However, their pasty selection isn’t too bad and they have a good selections of juices which hits the spot at 5am in the morning.

It’s an airport! I have to keep reminding myself that whenever I have a meal in an airport. Had the egg, cheese and bacon panini, which was passable, given that the eggs were those pre-cooked kind. But at 7am on a Sunday morning, it hit the spot.

As a former Southwest Airlines traveler who has switched to USAirways, I am now experiencing Terminal 2 much more. Cramer’s Deli made for a reasonably priced experience with quick service and a pleasant person behind the counter. The deli sandwiches and panini showing in the deli case did not look that appealing… small, thin and kinda dull. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel, toasted, with cream cheese. The price was good, about $ 3, the bagel was HUGE, and it was toasted well in the turbo oven… not too crunchy, not too dry. While I had to spread my own cream cheese from a prepack container, the counter person provided me with 2 of the Kraft Philadelphia cream cheese containers, so I had a respectable amount of name-brand cream cheese. I was considering the coffee, but with a late-afternoon flight, figured it was not in my best interests. No complaints here.

I was so disappointed in this bakery. The staff working there refused to take a perfectly good $ 20 bill because the corner was missing. Then would not take a credit card because they rang it as cash! So frustrating that we have people working that cannot speak English… and do not know simple things they should! After I finally got my cookie it was so stale I couldn’t eat it! Never again!

This place was below average, but the only place really accessible to where I was boarding my plane in San Diego, and we were starving. The sign clearly says«clam chowder». No clam chowder. OK. Ended up getting grilled cheese paninis, which were actually pretty good, and served with a bunch of lettuce(?) on the side and a pickle, which I gave to my husband. We also ordered jalapeño chips, which were good, and fountain soda. Service was mediocre and average speed waiting in line. I would probably not eat here again, and would walk to the California Pizza Kitchen that is up the hall.

Yuck. Shoulda read Unilocalers before sitting down, but early flight & not quite thinking yet. Read some of the other reviews… very funny! My friend tried the panini(egg, cheese). Premade, heat lamp warmed cardboard. Friendly staff, not their fault the food is not really. No Bfast options in this place.

I will never, ever return here. I ordered a coffee and breakfast sandwich. A customer actually warned me, a few seconds before I took my first sip, not to taste the coffee. I should have listened. Upon tasting this putrid excuse for coffee, I felt my face twist into different sour faced poses, it has never known, as I reeled back from the taste. I immediately chucked the coffee into the circular bin. Hoping that it was not a total loss, I tried the breakfast sandwich, and despite the«deli» name, this tasted like a sandwich you find at a gas station. With enough people complaining about the coffee, you think they would change something!

We’re Catholic and grew up poor. My family ALWAYS try to finsh our food and 97% of the time we do. The food is torture! It looked like the best option at the airport and we even waited for it to open. Bought chicken noodle and clam chowder in bread bowls(about $ 8−9/each). Because of a misunderstanding, I thought it cost $ 12−13/each and tried to finish it. I couldn’t. Torture. Two other family members tried to finish theirs. They couldn’t. Torture. The only thing that made us happy was when we realized it was $ 8−9/each and not $ 12−13/each. I want to be clear that they didn’t charge us wrong, it was just a miscommunication on their part that lead us to believe it was more expensive than it was. Worst soups ever! No joke because I really couldn’t finish it and if you know me, that’s saying a lot. The place is really clean though.

Avoid the coffee at all cost! It’s acidic and makes your tongue feel like it has a beard. Seriously, I haven’t had coffee this terrible since I was in the Army. Best advice is to turn around and go back by security and have coffee at either the McDonald’s or the Starbucks. The breakfast sausage, egg and cheese panini was eh. But I guess it gave me something to chew. If I would have made the effort to seek out salt, pepper and perhaps some hot sauce it might have entered the range of edibility. I’m just pissed I wasted the calories and chased it with brown battery acid.
