We were at a friend’s law school graduation party last night and I can’t say enough about the whole Dang Brothers Pizza experience. The staff were amazing and helpful, the pizza was in my all time top 2 list, the salad was great and it was all so much fun! They also had craft beer on tap in the pump panel of the engine. I’ll certainly recommend you guys to friends and if we ever host an event you’ll be getting a call from us. And getting to support some former Marines with their business is a plus!

This pizza is amazing! 22 area in Camp Pendleton is where I’ve had the best pizza and the best service. This pizza is done in front of your eyes with fresh ingredients in about 5 min. More than anything have to thank katelyn the pizza expert for her great pizza creations and her outstanding customer service. She makes delicious pizza and always makes my day. You definitely have to try, just don’t blame me when you get addicted

We hired Dang Brothers for a work event. The girls making the pizzas were amazing! Quick, friendly and so helpful. The pizzas were a hit with everyone. So many options. The fire truck just makes it that much better.

Pizza cooked in a fire truck? This food truck is way cooler than any other! I only take the time to praise a business when I’m really impressed. $ 10 for a small or $ 15 for a large buys you a custom pizza with any sauce and toppings you want(including lots of meat and cheese selections), and conversation with some really cool guys. Go now and then spread the word!

Saved the Day at my Sister-in-Law’s wedding where the caterer just forgot to show up! Dang Brother’s heard about the situation and came to the rescue as they were catering another event in the same area. Not only were the Pizzas amazing(I can’t believe it was from a food truck and i’m disappointed I didn’t even see the cool firetruck!) but they made stuffed mushrooms that were incredible. I would hire them in a heartbeat for any event. The food was excellent but above that they are a class act. They were so accomodating and friendly and told me not to stress about getting payment to them that evening-they trusted me to pay them as an IOU until I could receive an invoice from them a few days later. I want to plan a party just so I can hire them again!

We had Dang Brother Pizza at our company picnic over the weekend. The Pizza was amazing and even better it’s made to order right off the wood-fired oven. Everybody loved them, and is still talking about it after the event. The fire truck is awesome too.

Best Pizza for the following reasons, perfect size, quick, made to order, people are friendly, outdoor eating, former Marines. Now if you could add Green Olives to the menu you could be six stars.

Overall: I gotta say that this is the best pizza from a food truck that I’ve ever had. I think it’s really cool and funny how they cook the pizza in a fire truck. I ate there at the«Mudrella» in Temecula. Food: I love pizza and consider myself a connoisseur. That being said, if this pizza were at a restaurant, I don’t think I’d drop the rating to three stars. I ate the pepperoni and thought it could use a little more flavor. Otherwise, for a thin crust, the texture was great. Not too soft, not too crispy. The sauce was a solid flavor, middle of the road… not bad, not great. FYI to the owners: I think all the best pizza places use a blend of at least two cheeses: Mozzarella of course, with either sharp cheddar or fetta. Cheddar sounds weird, but a lot of good pizza places use a little for accent. The staff were all very pleasant and the wait time was very short for a pizza. Seeing as how their bad reviews are nothing close to my experience and they are all within their first year of business, I imagine they’d be on their way to 5 stars for a 2 year old company. I’d definitely consider hiring them for some event.

I first saw Dang Brother at an event for children last year and it was a hit — who wouldn’t love fresh baked pizza from a wood-fired pizza over in a fire truck? For work we decided to co-host parties with our clients so we gave Dan Brother a call and spoke with Kevin. They are going to cater 20 of our events this summer and we couldn’t be more excited. Our first one was last weekend and it was such a success — neighbors loved mingling over the pizza the designed and watch come out of the oven hot and fresh. All Dang Brother employees were super nice, respectful and so passionate about pizza. :) Thank you Dang Brother. We are excited for many more delicious pizzas and great catering from you guys!

A lifetime is full of important days — milestones and achievements that are celebrated and commemorated for decades to come, days such as the birth of your first child; the original acquisition of an income that grants the choice to forgo ramen forever; or a lifetime lockdown certificate with that special someone. One’s life is full of these special moments, but it is taken for granted that we will be able to hold onto all of them forever. If I were told that I would be involved in a terrible incident involving attacking feral kittens that would render me brain damaged, and I would forget every important moment that I had so far encountered in life save for one, I would reserve the memory of my first time at Dang Brother Pizza. To call themselves a pizza business is a reflection of their humbleness, for the only way to describe Dang Brother is as an experience — one of the miraculous sorts that our ancestors would have built churches for and effigies of and worshipped as the new dang religion. Each masterpiezza is carefully handcrafted and customized to your every desire by the talented Vincent van Doughs and Pablo Pizzacassos who work there. Through an artful process of skillful spinning tosses and magic, the pizzas are created directly in front of you. Like a proud parent, you are able to witness the dough ball take shape, develop it’s individuality through topping choices and, finally, be tossed into the allegorical flames of life only to emerge as a matured and improved version of its prior self. The entire phenomenon is so immense and life changing that it is advised that those who are pregnant or have a heart condition look away. It has been several days since I consumed the pizza and I feel as though it is safe to assume that it has bid goodbye to my stomach in search of bigger and better things, but the short time we spent together will never be forgotten and it will always be a part of me.

I noticed Dang Brother at Stagecoach this past weekend, and they were kind enough to give me a free personal pizza after an incident I Unilocaled about in December. David, yes, we can be friends now! Your pizza was delicious.

Today was my first time having a Dang Brother Pizza — loved it! For volunteer appreciation week Escondido Humane Society had Dang Bro there to make individual pizza’s in a mobile 800 degree brick oven for the volunteers. The pizza’s were made to order and there was a pretty good selection of toppings. Red sauce, pesto, olive oil or buffalo for the sauces. Cheeses — shredded buffalo mozzarella, feta and Parmesan.(Maybe 1 more) Veggies — spinach, mushroom, bell pepper, basil, tomato and jalapeño. Meats — pepperoni, Italian sausage and garlic chicken. Hope I got them all listed here but my point is that there was plenty to choose from. I had a veggie pizza with marinara. The dough was tossed, toppings added and then into the oven for about 5 minutes. The crust was thin and crispy with a little char on the bottom. Just the way I like it. My husband had a barnyard on pesto with a few veggies thrown on top. He said the pesto was amazing. Italian soda water was also made to order. The pizza was delicious, the service great and the idea of stone fire pizza’s made to order for a group or party, brilliant. I highly recommend!

Okay, so these guys were at an event in Santee last night and were supposed to be supplying the food –1 star for them not even getting the oven hot enough to cook with until TWOHOURS after the event started –1 star for their options: pepperoni, sausage, or cheese. Are you effing serious? –1 star for their AWFUL, nasty, school cafeteria-tasting, canned pizza sauce. It was disgusting. If I hadn’t been starving after waiting two hours to eat(I was ready to chow down when we got there), and if it hadn’t been so expensive, I would have thrown it out. –1 star for value. These pizzas were about 8 or 9 inches, mine(cheese) was $ 10, and my fiancé’s and my friend’s were $ 11 each(one pepperoni, one sausage). REALLY??? I cannot think of a legitimate reason that such a tiny pizza should cost so much, even if it were any good! If I could remove another star, I would, because it also took about an hour of waiting in line to be able to order, and another half an hour after that to actually get the pizza. These guys were totally overwhelmed and unprepared.(In their defense, NOONE thought there would be that many people.) We were considering hiring them to cater our rehearsal dinner next summer, but I’ll never eat from here again! Such a shame, as the concept is amazing. Too bad they can’t put their money where their mouths are, and apparently have never put their pizza there either…

Dang Good Pizza! I’m lucky to have had their pizza several times and each time seems better than the last. Last night I was at Hess Brewery in North Park and the fire truck was parked out back serving up the perfect complement to beer — pizza. Thoroughly enjoyed both the pizza and the beer. Dang Brothers you can feed me pizza anytime…

What a freakin genius this guy is! It’s a food truck but it’s a fire truck AND they make pizza! This thing is cool. Don’t be fooled by the broke down looking greenish-yellow exterior of the body. They are cooking up some amazing pies. Just a quick 90 seconds in the back of this thing and VOILA! you’ve got a damn good pizza. Chewy thin crust with just the right amount of char; fresh sauce, and gooey cheesy cheese. I was lucky enough to run into these guys at the Touch-A-Truck event a few days ago, it was the perfect event for this. It was a hit. People kept talking about it. And, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, even days after. I wonder where they’ll be next.

Caught these guys at the Riverside Airshow this past weekend. Wasn’t sure we wanted pizza until we saw the gloriousness coming out of the back of the firetruck. These guys have this down to a science. I ordered a margherita, and by the time the words were out of my mouth the prep girl had it almost ready. Walk around the side of the truck, and the kid working the oven is just sliding that bad boy into an 800 degree brick oven. What came out 2 minutes later has got to be in the top 5 pizzas I’ve ever had. Crust was thin and a little chewy, with the right amount of char on the bottom to give it good flavor. Sauce was not too sweet and tasted fresh. Just a really damn good pie, congrats on getting it right!
