Gallery At Lands End

I live in Pacific Beach and although walk by here often have never been inside. That was until I graduated and needed to get my doctoral diploma framed. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helped me out immensely when selecting a custom frame for my diploma. They also had a much larger selection of frames than I would have expected. The finished product turned out great, and was finished extremely quickly.
Not only was the framing top-​notch, but this place actually had a lot of really cool jewelry, coffee mugs, and other neat stuff made by other local artists. I ended up walking out with a pair of earrings for my wife… that she loves, and now I go back quite often to buy her jewelry, as there selection is so unique.
I highly recommend this place for all framing needs, and recommend to anyone to stop in and check out their selection of unique gifts.

I needed to frame a diploma, so I stopped in here recently. I was helped out by a friendly older woman who helped me pick a frame. I liked working with her since I could tell she wan’t trying to sell me on anything and just wanted to make sure I was happy.
When I picked up the diploma, there was a little piece of something inside the glass — almost not worth fixing — but she cheerfully offered to take the glass off to remove it, and it was ready later that day. I’m not a frame expert, but it looks really nice.
I had considered going to a bigger framing shop, but this one just has a better, more personal vibe. The rest of the shop is comfortable and nicely decorated — has a more intimate feel than a normal framing store.
I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to support a small, local business.

I have been coming here for over 33 years. Vicki & Jay were wonderful. She always had the best ideas for frames and mats. After all these years, I can almost do as well. She trained me. But if she is not there, I generally leave my picture and she comes up with something beautiful. Every time.
Thane bought the shop after Jay retired and Vicki still comes in on some days. They both are great and it is so nice having quality work that is always up to the highest standards. You can frame for a medium amount, or go all the way and break the bank. They never push and are always friendly. You can’t do better then this shop and the staff. Who are friends, of course, by now!

I have been to this frame shop several times to get different pieces of art and some photos framed and each time I have had a positive experience. The owner is a young guy who is pleasant to work with and gets the job done in a timely manner. Getting art work framed is an expensive thing to do. His prices seem pretty darn reasonable to me so between the service and price, I would recommend.

I stopped in yesterday with an urgent need to have a stained glass panel framed for an event later that night and Thayne was able to get the job done without any problems. I can’t even describe how much this saved the day for me. The pricing was great even though it was a rush job and he had never worked with me before. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will never use another frame shop again.

I have been in to this framing shop repeatedly, to frame both personal pictures and pictures to hang in my business. As a customer not familiar with framing, the service and guidance each time is top notch.

Wow, I have to tell you that the Gallery at Land’s End has done a terrific job framing and matting several pictures for us over the last year. We have had some «keepsakes pictures and prints «that the owner has done a remarkable job listening to our wants and then offering some suggestions to even make them better. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone that wants quality workmanship.

I had a custom mirror made for me at Gallery at Land’s End and I have to say I am very impressed! The owner was extremely helpful and patient when it came to making my selection and I am more than satisfied.
There is also a great selection of hand made earrings available from Noon Designs. After I made my choice on the frame for my mirror, I purchased two sets of the earrings as well!
I will definitely be back to the Gallery at Land’s End the next time I need something framed or if I am looking for a unique gift.

Gallery at Land’s End is more of a framing shop than a gallery. Its selection pales in comparison to a lot of the galleries in La Jolla, but this gallery specializes in custom framing. Of course buying a frame is a lot cheaper, but if you have a fancy shmancy piece of art work then by all means take advantage of their professional framing services. It will cost at least $ 70, but prices range.
When I visited the shop there was a little old lady working who was very cute and friendly and really into to what she does. That is always a nice thing to see.
