Classic local Chinese take out place. I like that all the entrees are made fresh and not too salty. My favorite is House Special Chicken and is always included in my order. Their Vegetable dishes in the dark sauce is also vey good.

We ordered house special chicken, house special beef, chicken chow mein and hot and sour soup. The chow mein was the clear winner. The noodles nicely absorbed the flavor of the other components and was well made. The two house special dishes were both good but did not stand out from other similar Chinese places. The hot and sour soup was an extra spicy batch it would seem being very peppery to the point of being too much to enjoy. Overall a nice restaurant for chinese on the run.

Better than average especially with portions. Quick take out. Nice lunch place too. Fresh favorites are walnut honey shrimp and shrimp with vegetables, noodles are good too!

Great Chinese take-out, that is not your normal takeout. The portions are pretty standard, but the food is very yummy. Cooked fresh with LARGE chunks of veggies & meat in every dish. Great customer service, take out or eat in. You guys do it right. Thanks!

Lunch combo of King Pao shrimp, salad and a dumpling Not bad at all. The entrée did not have peanuts and I can understand due to allergies. The dish did have red hot chili peppers but it was not as hot as I had expected Salad was ok and I think the dumpling was meatless Including a beverage it was around $ 10

The food here is Excellent and the service was great! I highly recommend this to anyone who likes Chinese food, fast fresh and best of all the taste. My friend brought me here telling me how good it was, and he was right. We had the walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and chow mien noodles, all where very good, and large portions, he let me take the left overs home and it was just as good the 2nd time around. I cant wait to go back and try other things on the menu.

Once again I brought Iron Wok food for my extended family’s traditional Christmas Eve Chinese dinner. I tried a few Chinese restaurants in San Marcos and Escondido and decided that the Iron Wok has better food at better prices than any of them, including the highly rated C***s. So back I came with essentially the same menu but with more cream cheese won tons and pot stickers. The fellow at the front said 15 minutes. So I opened a beer, sat back and sure enough, less than 15 minutes the food was hot and ready to go. I come here often and hope they never close. A true gen in RB.

Teriyaki chicken was breaded??? The sauce and overall taste was bland. Just three small pieces of broccoli. I’ve had better at a Yoshinoya. The only good thing about this place was that it was quick.

I’d give this place 3.5 stars. It gets the job done if u want fast Chinese food. I’ve eaten here twice– there are things I liked and other things I didn’t enjoy. 1) lo-mein/chow mein is good. a little greasy towards the bottom but that’s expected with chinese food. 2) i ordered the lunch combination that came with hot and sour soup and i upgraded to chow mein vs rice. the kung po chicken could’ve been better in my opinion(a little greasy still). the soup could’ve used a little more spice. Good quantity though overall for all dishes for price paid. they offer other things too off the menu(like boba drinks and pretty much whatever you want the chef to cook as long as they have the ingredients)

Love there house special fried rice and Singapore Chow Fen. Service is general really quick — maybe a five minute wait after you order. Other than that, I haven’t tried there other dishes, but their fried rices dishes are general are pretty good and they offer them in large servings which will sure fill you up.

Food is alright, but if you order orange chicken prepare to have half your meal be inedible due to it being half bones

All I really know about this place is they have really decent«hot & sour» soup, which we always get as a take out order. They did remodel a few years ago and the inside looks way nicer than before, but i can’t speak to the service or anything outside of the take out option, which has been great.

I’m catching up on reviewing the local Chinese restaurants and these write-ups are all gonna sound the same because the food doesn’t really provide much differentiation between one restaurant and another. Went in right at lunch time. Ordered the orange chicken thinking I was getting the lunch deal. Nope. Got a full massive order of orange chicken instead. Okay — be sure to specify that you want the lunch deal in the future. Got it. The food was okay. It’s better than Panda Express but as stated previously it tastes the same as any other Chinese restaurant in the area. One thing I will ding this place on are the booths. This restaurant houses arguably the most uncomfortable booths in all of Southern California and possibly the universe. Restaurants typically do this as a way to get you in and out faster but jeez. A pain in my butt. Literally. If I was in the mood for some quick orange chicken then yeah, I’d probably come back here. It did come out super fast and there’s nothing wrong with the quality of it. I just feel like the Chinese food in this area leaves much to be desired.

Very disappointing. Tried to place an online order as the site suggest, then the order buttons dont work. Call in the order and was immediately fearful that it would be wrong. Surprise, it was wrong. My order was simple, Beef Chow mien. It arrives, and half of the dish was Beef Chow mien. The other half was white rice. I was never asked if I wanted rice and all the other order. There was a total of 5 small bites of Beef in the«beef» chow mien. They told me to pick up the order at 11:30, it was not ready until 11:50. I hope you improve as my office is nearby and we order food for 10 people twice a week.

I’ve been to Iron Wok three times in one week. That’s how much I enjoyed it. All three times the food the wait time for the food seemed less that five minutes, yet every time the food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. On two of the visits I brought other friends along for lunch. We all enjoyed not only the food, but found the staff to be friendly and the facility to be clean with a touch of class. I had orange chicken which was crispy on the outside while tender on the inside. The chicken wing appetizer was the same. Everything was hot & fresh & the price was very affordable. It’s rare that I go anywhere and two a meal for two for about $ 15. It may well be my new favorite go-to spot when I need a cool place to grab a bite with friends.

Horrible service, belligerent owner. Ordered fish for pick up and it was all bell peppers almost raw with hardly any fish. We called to leave feedback, and the person on phone was rude and belligerent, interrupted the whole time. Will never order from them again. Unsatisfactory and unprofessional.

This place offers affordable food with good portions and speedy service! I got the Kung Pao Chicken with white rice, hot and sour soup, chicken wings, and cream cheese wontons. There was so much food that I had to take a to-go box home. Also, for the price, I was expecting something like«Panda Express,» but I was really surprised by how fresh it tasted. I will definitely come back and bring some friends with me.

Not the best place. I had some hopes with a police officer stopping by. The person in front of us came up to complain and the server was very short but refunded the money. We should have left. There was interior and exterior seating. The food took a bit to get for lunch. The ingredients behind the counter looked fresh from a distance, but when served it looked poorly made. Brown seemed to coat the all the items and my wife’s chicken appeared to have either pork or the greasy brown meat of the chicken as if they skinned the bone, which was also present and almost chipping a tooth. The staff did not seem overly invested in their efforts. There were ants on the soda machine. I would not risk it. Just go some place else.

Very fresh and quick service here… course the night I was in here I was the only one here but it was nice to have such quick service for diner. Multiple food offerings and large portions so come with friends and come hungry. Pricing was very comparable with other Chinese food places maybe even a little cheaper than some. Parking here is plentiful and there is usually not too long of a wait to find a spot. Definitely worth giving this place a try
