Neat store downtown. It blows my mind because it’s like a tiny fraction the size of a chain grocery store but I’ve never not found what I’ve been looking for here. It’s like they have unordinary stuff that you won’t find in other stores but they also have your go-to’s and necessities. They have coconut water, fruit, veggies, meats, frozen, everything… and talk about alcohol. This place is like a liquor store and mini Whole Foods all in one. Their beer selection is massive. You could probably find any kind of beer you are looking for here. They have your regular beer and a ton of craft beers. Good selection of the olé booze, too.
Staff have always been friendly and definitely should be your go-​to store if you’re close to downtown.

I love this place. It kind of reminds of a mini Jimbos or whole foods. It’s definitely a small grocery store, but it doesn’t skimp on quality. They have the latest in trends for healthy foods, snacks and supplements. They also have organic produce and fresh meats. I live on the north east end of downtown and it is an easy walk from my place. It’s a little pricey, but for good reason. It is super convenient and I highly appreciate the quality of items here. They also have a great wine and beer selection.

Wow! My one stop shop for health food AND spirits. I wish there was a store like this where I live in Maui. Called around town before I got to San Diego to find a difficult to score Rum and no one had it/​heard of it. I did not try Krisp because I figured a health food store with spirits could not have that great of a selection. Boy, was I wrong. They not only had a bottle of what I was looking for but they ordered a couple more that I can pick up before I fly home next week. They had friendly service and an awesome selection of spirits.

This store is large and well laid out. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. Merchandise is easy to find.
They have a huge selection of many different craft beers, including a variety of stouts, porters, and barleywines. The selection was much larger than BevMo, which does not typically offer more than 1 – 2 choices of barleywine.

Great place for a downtown market. Wonderful wine selections, organic foods, and the employees are wonderful. It’s less then a block away from the trolley stop. There is a 30min. Parking spot for in and out purposes, but plenty of meter parking all around.

Selection on fresh produce is great and some of the prices are very reasonable. Could not ask for a more well equipped local market. Everyone loves the beer selection and if your a hop-​head like me this place is the s***. Great butcher as well, made me the hero at my BBQ. Highly recommended!

WOW! Omar at Krisp Deliveries really came through for me! I ordered champagne for my sister’s anniversary to be delivered to her hotel. Omar made it happen! The hotel was a lite outside his delivery range but he did it anyway! The champagne I requested wasn’t available so he upgraded me! My sister and brother-​in-​law had a wonderful anniversary thanks to Omar at Krisp, champagne, and BACON chocolate!!! I will definitely use Krisp Deliveries at The Best Damn Beer Shop again!

Great place to stop in at for beer aficionados. They are very friendly and helpful in finding you exactly what you want.
They also have an organic produce section that you wouldn’t expect in a place that prioritizes beer, which I was stoked about.
Along with the beer and produce, they have several awesome products that we’ve tried here, from kombucha tea to healthy snacks.

The only downside is looking for parking, but it’s well worth it.

This place is great. They have the best selection of lunches and healthy snacks. The also have the biggest selection of ginger brews anywhere in San Diego. You can’t find better quality anywhere downtown. If you get hungry late at night, they’re open till midnight. They also have items you can’t find at other places.

I have gone back and I really love how much better the store is keeping up with their stuff :) ! I really love the Club sandwich that they have they have changed the bread to Rye and its so delicious with that kind of bread but the other regular kind is good enough! they also a pretty good selection of body care/​drinks and alchohol

This is my go to store for healthy snacks, alcoholic beverages, and cheap pre-​made lunches.
I usually come here to grab a chicken quinoa wrap for lunch. It’s packed with chicken and always makes me feel full and satisfied. I also come here for boiled eggs and packaged fruit.
They have a great selection of beers, wines, and champagnes too. If you brew your own beer, they will most likely have what you’re looking for. I like supporting local breweries and I think it’s cool that this place carries local seasonal beers.
Looking for a snack? They have a variety of snacks, including nuts and desserts. I even found chia seed and goji berry packages.

Craft beer heaven! I’ve tried my first sour beer here, a ton of San Diego local beers, one of which I found to be my favorite (Mike Hess brewing co). Although great I’m sad that they are consistently out of my favorite beer –Mother Earth cal creamin — it puts a big frown on my face every wk when they are sold out :(all in all, a magical place and I still want to try every beer here, expect for crazy double IPAs, ain’t nobody got time for those !! Haha

This downtown neighborhood store offers a variety of healthy alternative foods and quite the list of spirits as well. Whether you are looking for organic produce, free range poultry, natural grass feed beef, many gluten free items, vegan, and raw foods, there seems to something available for everyone with a health minded approach. However, even though they have a great selection of beers and home brew kits and supplies, what I have come in for is their selections on red wines.
They carry a mêlée of wines from around the world, with a nice selection of wines from Europe, and if you have any questions, the employees are well verse regarding the wide range of beverages they carry. Great service and a great store.
They also carry a variety of pre-​made healthy food items to go from the deli, including party platters and such. I like this store.

My favorite store of all things organic in Downtown (before Jimbo’s existed in that area). I would say is like a mini Jimbo’s with a touch of Trader’s Joe but with that special something of small commerce. There are aisles dedicated to all things beer, super fresh produce and my favorite part is the organic cosmetics section with all kinds of cool products with catchy names.
They have a lot of grab and go options for lunch and it is a nice place to do so for many office workers in Downtown who prefer that than going to restaurants. Location is kind of not very populated and depending on the time of the day you can see some sketchy types outside, but what is inside is just great and fresh.

High time there is a place like this in downtown!
BCPB hipped me to this spot and I was sort of did not believe that this was real. Finally I stopped in and had a snout around.
They have everything a healthy San Diegan would want. I like that they have a section with lunch items so you can grab and go the healthy way. If I am in the grab and go frame of mind I usually high step it to places like 7 Eleven so I could totally have better lunches at Krisp!
If you are downtown and need to pick up something healthy you should check this place out. We need to give places like this more of our business so that I am not stuck fighting over the last egg salad sammy at a gas station while silently wondering what has happened to my life…
