How in he f**K do you run out of bbq chicken on a tuesday, isn’t it suppose to be taco Tuesday with the choices of bbq chicken taco, pork taco and fish taco, wtf… Customer Service here sucks and the manager name Irene with her big nose clown looking ass is very rude and unprofessional, this owner of the store should think about who he has managing this store because she is very rude and not customer service friendly, that’s why we took our services to the L&L on national ave, they are very friendly and have great customer service… This L&L better watch out since that Subway just opened… This L&L isgonna loose a lot of customers running out of food and bad customer service!!! NEEDBETTERMANAGEMENTHERE!!!

My favorite dish at the island type restaurants is chicken Katsu. If that’s done well, usually everything else is pretty good. The macaroni salad is good, not as good as home made but it competes, thumbs up for that. The portions are good, you have the option of a half portion which is still a nice serving with an inexpensive price. The chicken Katsu is good — not as flavorful as I’ve had at other places but still decent. The crispiness is good, slightly on the dry side, but the sauce can fix that. Overall, for the price, it’s a good deal, a lot better than burgers n fries and costs about the same.

Got my food pretty fast! Not all L&L are created equal but this one pass the test. This my second favorite now and is way better than the sports arena one. I feel like catering menu is way overpriced though. You get everything cheaper by 10 – 20 bucks a platter just by going to the L&L by sweet water

I love Hawaiian food with a passion. I enjoy their food. I love their spamushi. What’s cool about this restaurant is that they also serve filipino food. I usually get their combo specials. If you are ever in the area grab some.

There food is pretty good but I get sick of it if I eat it to often. This location needs a little make over. Some of the chairs and tables look like they have seen better days. The person that took my order was very courteous but reading some of these reviews, it depends on who you get. Tuesday is Taco Tuesday so they have specials on some of there tacos. I ordered the fish, shrimp, and chicken taco. For the price, they are pretty good. I had trouble telling the difference between the fish and shrimp taco until I took a bite,

First let me start off by saying that I do enjoy L&L. I used to visit the one in National City. This was my first time at this location and thought I would be having the same food but unfortunately they miss the mark at this location. I ordered a mini katsu plate. The mac salad was missing something because it did not taste the same and the chicken katsu sauce was watery, it was not the same as the sauce I have had from them before. In addition, they took 20 minutes for my food to be ready. They are way too slow… perhaps the management here needs to visit other sites to see how things are done there. I can say, however, the cashier was a sweet girl.

It’s L&L what can I say? Service is a little slow even though they were somewhat busy(3 people ahead of me)

I am a big fan of L & L. If you haven’t gone, you haven’t gone yet, go! Go on taco tuesday as well. The kalua pork taco are very tastie! I am a big fan of loco moco anyways! Funny, I went to their webpage to ensure I wrote the title of this Hawaiian dish properly and they don’t list it on their online menu. Anyways, my brother is a big fan of the lau lau platter. I think you can’t go wrong!

When this first opened I was super excited the food was great the people were friendly and you totally got what you paid for. My visit today was horrible never going here again. I did not get what I paid for they have seriously reduced portion sizes and increased prices. Not to mention the staff was very rude and very slow. I also could not get the points put on my card because their system was down.

Hawiian fast food. Eh, at first I was excited when I found out they’re 5 minutes from my work. The food is more or less like any other L&L. Not bad, not great, just is. But man, they’re slower than molasses at this L&L, and they’re not that friendly. I don’t blame them though, with the number of teenagers who are in and out of the joint from the local schools. Another star off because apparently you have to ask for sauces that should automatically come with the dish. I got lumpia and they didn’t give the sauce. Yes. Yes. I love my lumpia dry. -.- Screw it. I’m changing it to a 1, because I can get better service at the other L&Ls.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE service! I would give this place 0 stars if i could, and I am not even being overdramatic. Well first of all, no one was even at the register for a good 10 minutes. My boyfriend and I waited until the lady in the kitchen said«I’ll be right with you!» .and then we waited for another 5 minutes. It was Taco Tuesday, so since they were advertising tacos, shouldn’t you expect service to be a little faster since that’s mostly all that they’ll be making? Well, 4 tacos and a spam musubi SHOULDNOT take well over 30 minutes. How hard is it to fry a fish stick, put it on a tortilla, and add lettuce and tartar sauce? I wish I could say that the food was worth the wait, but the tacos and musubi tasted like CRAP. Overfried, flavorless, and the spam was sliced as thin as a paper. There were only two workers(which, might I add. aren’t even Hawaiian wtf?) and you can tell that they weren’t even moving with a sense of urgency, despite how many customers were waiting for their food. Horrible. Don’t go here!

4 fish tacos and a spam musubi should NOT take exactly 30 minutes to prepare. The staff didn’t show urgency and did not apologize for the long wait. On top of that, the way it was prepared seemed rushed. Burnt the tortillas and spam. Unacceptable! It is a nice looking place though…

I ate at this L&L for the first time yesterday and I thought I had sworn off L&L forever after a bad experience 5 years ago. I know it’s quite dramatic, but seriously it was bad. I went with a coworker to grab a beer after work and a snack. We ordered our stuff and sat down to go over work things. After finishing our beers and our work discussion, we still hadn’t received our wings we ordered; which I found rather strange because we had already been sitting for a while. We continued to wait — Our beers were finished, we were ready to roll home and wings were still not there. After a long wait, we finally received them. Now, I must say, I’m glad I waited because they were big wings for the most part(drums & wings) with a fair amount sweet/spicy sauce that had an asian fusion flavor to them. I was very much into what was happening and I would definitely opt to get them again in the future. They have parking lot shared with the Food for Less and other commercial establishments. They do take credit cards and have a fair amount of seating, inside and out. I will give them another chance and see if there is a possibility of speedier service.

Okay. WTH? This L&L is really different to the others I’ve been to. I got off late from work one day and decided to come here to grab a quick bite. Nothing was quick about it. It wasn’t busy and it took 30 minutes for them to make my food? Did they run out of rice and waited for the rice cooker to finish? AND. this must be owned by a private owner because the food was different. The L&Ls I’ve been to. always had rice and macaroni salad when ordering a dish. For example. BBQ beef came with a bed of cabbage, rice, macaroni salad, and a lot of beef. this place offered me. rice, and two small strips of BBQ beef and steamed broccoli… uhh wth? That night. I was disappointed and still hungry. Lame.

I fell in love with L&L Hawaiian BBQ while I was getting my BA in Claremont, CA, and made regular trips for food at my local location while living in Anaheim. So, every chance I get while visiting SoCal, I make a trip for some plate lunch. I love the BBQ beef short ribs, and the BBQ beef is great too. If you are so inclined, a spam musubi is a very Hawaiian snack or addition to a meal. To drink, don’t get a fountain soda pop; the Hawaiian Sun canned drinks are delicious! My favorite is the Lilikoi Passion.

I like the food, but I really don’t go there too often. They have a great outdoor seating area and they serve beer, so that’s cool. It’s right next to a Cold Stone, so you can get some dessert after your meal. Yeah sweets! I also know that they also have some tv’s there, so you can stop by and warch the games while you eat and hang out. Other Note: They replaced the Batter Up burger joint that use to be there.

I’ve been to the L & L on Euclid twice in the past couple days. And with good reason. They do their kalbi just right. For about $ 8 I get to pack my belly with large, meaty, well marinated slabs of short ribs(which have gotten to be so expensive in grocery stores lately) I usually opt for a Hawaiian barbecue place down the street from where I live called Tropical Hut but I’ve found that their short ribs are so thin and tough so I just go with other items. But L & L certainly is worth driving a little farther. They’ve also got some good chicken katsu and tacos. It’s clean, you get good service and your food is cooked relatively fast. I’ll be hitting it up any time I want good short ribs but I am too lazy to drive to Kearny Mesa for a Korean BBQ place.
