La Jolla Crossroads Marketplace

I miss this marketplace literally everyday. I didn’t realize how much I used it til now that it’s gone. I really hope they come back especially since the owners of la jolla crossroads are adding the 360 building, I am sure this little market would be a great selling point for new residents.

Extremely nice owners, and love how it’s conveniently located by my LJX apartment. Bbq pizza is great. And after seeing these reviews about the nachos, will definitely try em next time

This place reminds me of the neighborhood market my family would shop at to pick up odds and ends when I was a kid. Walking in is nostalgic. Everything from fresh produce to welcoming smiles and friendliness.
If you’re looking for a place that has what you need at a great price this is the place to go. The best part is it’s open to the entire neighborhood!

After i finish class before i reach home i usually visit this place :)
This time i was very hungry n got myself nachos+ pork something and it’s delicious!

Went to check the mail and saw they were still open. They had a great selection of items. As I was in there I remembered I had forgotten to pick up half n half today and to my luck they had half n half! Then as I was about to pay and noticed the pizza. Apparently they make it on site. It was yummy! I didn’t pay more than I would have at Von’s … and I didn’t even have to drive!

Love this place! Employees are extra nice. Always there in a pinch. Sells the best nuts etc. I love the tostadas. Nachos are great. AND they sell my favorite dish soap.

Great place to pick up essentials! The owner is extremely friendly and loves customer feedback. FYI — the nachos are pretty darn good.

LJX Marketplace just opened and their hours are 7:00am-9:00pm.
If you are an Asian hobbit like me and eat 1^st dinner & 2^nd dinner to no avail, and become hungry by 8:30pm and don’t want to trudge to the nearest shopping center for food, this marketplace is SO CONVENIENT. It’s just a few steps away from my front door.
The owner is super friendly and he makes sure to not just stock the marketplace with your favorite snacks, but he has a healthy balance of fresh and organic produce as well. Lettuce, organic yogurt, milk, and organic eggs. Are you like me and always forget to pick up eggs when buying supplies for baking? No worries cause LJX Marketplace has your back!
They sell hot soft pretzels, organic soft serve frozen yogurt, hot chocolate, cappuccino, and during certain hours they sell carne asada nachos and other delicious hot foods. But you better get there before I do, cause I’ll clean out the store!

Just walked in to take a peek at the new store at Crossroads. They are located next to the mail room across from the dry cleaners and salon. The owners were very friendly and care about their customers. They want to cater to the residents of the apartment and others all around the UTC area. They have soda, bread, veggies, toiletries, etc. They will be getting fro-​yo, pizza, and much more soon. They are currently taking suggestion to add to their store as well. They also serve nachos of various toppings and the adobada one caught my eye. Will definitely try it soon since I was already planning to make dinner when I walked into the store. I did see a big take out box FILLED with nachos and $ 6 isn’t bad! The muffins looked good and they have hot coco too. Saw some avocados, garlic, onions, and more. The store just opened so they are trying to figure out what would be best to put on their shelves for everyone to enjoy. Oh! they even have travel sized over-​the-​counter meds like bayer and advil. They are great people wanting to make a great store so come and check them out! They are also considering doing a mini farmers market once a month on Saturdays and if it is successful, they would consider doing it every week. The prices are very reasonable, comparable to Vons or even less with great quality products.
They want to help UCSD students as well so they are considering to have a bunch of munchies for us during midterm and finals week!
