LV Sandwiches and Restaurant

Came here when they first opened and got a few sandwiches which ended up being good but then I came back here a week later and the prices of their sandwiches went from $ 2 something to $ 3 something. Really? You guys just opened and you raised the prices already??? Ain’t that some shit? I’m sure you won’t make it far if you’re already jacking up the prices. At least K sandwiches keeps their prices the same. BTW their Thai tea and ice coffee are both nasty!

We are new to the neighborhood and found this place down the street. We ordered to go and the service was fairly fast. We had ordered some beef and brocolli, pad Thai and tofu veggie fried rice. The veggie fried rice was awesome and they were loaded with tofu compared to the other Asian restaurants we’ve been to. The brocolli beef was mediocre and the pad Thai was dry! It needed more sauce or might have been better if served right off the stove.
Probably would come back for more of their fried rice.

I come here and pick up the BBQ pork sandwiches all the time. For $ 2.75 a sandwich you get a tastier sandwich and half the price of the chain sub restaurants. I haven’t tried anything else but the bbq pork sandwich is good.

Very tasty and cheap baguette sandwiches.
However, make sure to order over the phone and spend as little time as possible in the restaurant when you pick up your food.
I was recently in the restaurant for dinner, and by the time I finished eating, my clothes, hair, skin, and everything else, reeked of old burnt-​fried wok oil. This seems like a minor complaint, but seriously, I could still smell the clothes I wore 2 days later as they sat in the laundry basket. The experience reminded me of being locked in a car for an hour with a chain smoker.
The food I had for dinner was bland. I ordered hot tea and the tea tasted bitter and brackish with a hint of chlorine. Definitely a waste of time and money. Additionally, the wait staff seemed to be very serious or upset about something and mostly ignored my table even though it was only one of two that were occupied in the whole place.
If you want a sandwich, this is the place to get one, otherwise beware.

I went in yesterday because I was getting soup from Phở Hoa for my girlfriend, but I really wanted some fried rice. They swear to have Thai fried rice, so I ordered that.
First, the price seemed pretty damned high for what I was ordering. Second, the guy didn’t seem to give a crap that I was in his place, despite the fact that I was the ONLY person in his place.
When I got home and started eating I was not thrilled with my purchase and threw most of it away.

I don’t go here for the food, so that’s not what this is about. The sandwich menu looks good and is cheap, but I’ll write another review when I find out. I go here for one thing: Boba. They have a nice selection of boba: from the typical bananna, strawberry, coconut, to more eccentric pennywok leaf w/​greenbeans, taro, and soursop. I have tried nearly every boba and I love all of them. The staff lacks a friendly outgoing persona, either because they don’t know english that well, or just don’t like me. It doesn’t matter though, I come in here for boba and leave happy.

I accidentally came into this restaurant. I was expecting Le’s Restaurant and was so disappointed that it had changed ownership.
In any case, the menu was overwhelming. Like the previous reviewer, I thought the restaurant had potential with the Thai/​Vietnamese/​Chinese cuisine. But it can also prevent a restaurant from being good by trying to do everything.
I had a Thai Curry dish and it was bland. Are these Asians? I love spicy food and even if it wasn’t supposed to be spicy, there should have been more «punch» to the entrée. I asked the server about the food and she lacked the knowledge and I didn’t like that. It was pricey.
I am trying to think of something positive — at least it’s clean and they still kept the same furniture.

this review is based solely on my banh mi experience. i accidently came here as i was searching for the location of the new ba le (failing to find it).
the sandwiches are good, fast, and cheap. just the way i like it. the bread was crispy, the veggies were crunchy and fresh, and the grilled pork was tasty. order at the bar and eat there, or you can take it to go. the boba menu looked pretty good, but i was only craving a sandwich. i’d come back if i were in the hood.

Came here for dinner and I was quite hungry because I skipped lunch earlier. A Thai/​Chinese/​Vietnamese restaurant. Hmmm… had potential. «HAD.»
Should have seen the light… should have known when it’s an «asian» restaurant and we were the only asian customers in the place.
Sat down and ordered. They only had one chef cooking, so the food took a long time. When we finally got our order, the food was bland. Remember guys, I was HUNGRY. I could barely get myself to finish the pork chops and some veggies. Could have /​should have cooked a better meal at home. The prices were a bit pricey for the quality of the food. Probably one of the worst Vietnamese dish I’ve ever «eaten» at a restaurant.
Maybe their Thai and Chinese dishes are better, but let’s just say I won’t be back to find out.

This used to be Le’s Thai/​Chinese/​Vietnamese Restaurant, and according to the staff, still is. The menu is the same, but now they offer Vietnamese sandwiches and boba-​type drinks. I think their food in general is only so-​so, but it’s a great place to go if you aren’t quite sure what kind of food you want to eat, or if you’re with others who have different food preferences than you.
I like the sandwiches a lot. There are other places nearby to get Vietnamese sandwiches, too, but this is nice because you can also get Tom Yum soup at the same time! I think the sandwiches are better than K Sandwiches — the bread is softer, and there is more filling — plus, they are cheaper and you don’t have to wait nearly as long.
The décor is kind of artsy and fun — clouds on the ceilings, a flower case for the beverages, and some nasty dark wood paneling just because. The staff is extremely friendly, and the location is very easy to get to.

I went to this place after hearing about the grand opening and the buy 2 get 1 free special. I was surprised to find that this place is also a restaurant. I had just eaten at Yum Cha Café, so I was only here to pick up some sandwiches. The people seemed pretty nice and friendly and were patient as my siblings and I took our time deciding which sandwiches we wanted.
The sandwiches were decent. I wasn’t a big fan of the meatball. The meat tasted weird, almost like it was wrong. Some of the other sandwiches didn’t have as much meat as I would have liked. I know vietnamese sandwiches are light on the meat in general, but it just seemed even less than normal. The best one for me was the the #1 combo. It has several types of meat which were all good and not fatty, like the pork can sometimes be at other sandwich shops. Overall, a decent experience. Nothing really stood out except that for the special they are running right now making it cheaper to get sandwiches here than the other vietnamese sandwich shops.
