Definitely a tourist trap as stated. Ordered the ceviche cup, and there was barely two tiny pieces of fish. Half the cup was cocktail sauce and shredded cabbage. You would think there would be tostadas or chips included, but they charge $ 1.50 for a few greasy tortilla chips. we’re local and we know what ceviche is supposed to be like. Just a bunch of cucumbers.

I ordered a «Lobster Roll» on Sat 1÷13÷16, I was very disappointed in that I actually got an imitation crab roll. There was no lobster in it and very little imitation crab. I asked for my money back and was given it. No apology at all. Talk about truth in advertising.

The cashier guy killed a quarter sized roach in front of me after me prompting him of the said roach. I actually appreciate his unfazed receipt smash and fold move and cannot find it in my heart to fault him on the fish and chip loving roach. I also didn’t give them a one star because I ordered the euphemistically named seafood bucket and a bucket was not provided. I knew better. The one star was due the popcorn shrimp within my seafood bucket was so small I felt like they were full term aborted shrimplings.

This hole in the wall restaurant is decent. Prices are high, and maybe they’re too high for the quality of food, but it’s pretty good. $ 33 bought me and my boyfriend a 32oz Stone IPA, a lemonade, a shrimp cocktail and the bucket they offer. The shrimp wasn’t very fresh, and they weren’t large shrimp like in used to for that price. Also, how they serve it doesn’t come with cocktail sauce. It is offered at their sauce bar, but it wasn’t served with that. I found that odd since it’s called a shrimp cocktail. Fried oysters were pretty… fishy tasting. Fries were definitely frozen and the seasoning was cheap and pretty cruddy. Calamari rings were okay. A little chewy. The fish was actually darn good. 32oz beer was about $ 9, I think. Typical tourist prices.

We had the shrimp cocktail, fried oysters and crabcakes. Wasn’t really happy by any of the food. The crabcakes were below average. The fried oysters were bland. The shrimp cocktail was somewhat better, but nothing too good. We ate them just with the help of the ketchup! The portions weren’t really good! Not worth the money; even if it feels affordable at first sight of the menu. The location is great: if you get the right spots, you can enjoy the ocean view with the bland food! Will not visit the place again!

Really bad food, should’ve read the reviews before going there. I ordered a mahi mahi taco, and couldn’t be more disappointed. Yuck is the word to define this place! The rice was raw! I tried to chew it, but my teeth couldn’t handle. I love rice and eat it almost anyways, but this one was horrible!!! THEYSERVEUNCOOKED Rice!

We went to the Headquarters before a show downtown for a quick fish taco but Puesto was packed so we went to Seaport village and ended up at Marions. The fish taco was ok, but the tartar sauce sitting out looked like a pile of curdled grossness and I hate places that are pathetically cheap. The fountain soda is about $ 3.00 and they want .50 cents for each refill and with that I bid you a go rip off some other sucker as I will never be back. EVER.

Great! Cheap and the fish is so fresh! Had their mahi mahi pineapple tacos… Incredible! Fresh, tasty, fast,… Portions were decent but wouldn’t recommend the place for big eaters! The view was fantastic though! The cheapest place on the harbor, all the other are tourists and snob people’s traps!

Was too hungover to eat. I ordered the clam chowder in sourdough bread. Tasted like any other clam chowder. Workers have nice customer service. They charge for extra refills of fountain drinks.

I got their salad lobster roll with fries. It was pretty good, but the lobster tasted like it was imitation crab meat. I still ate it though. Shit was good regardless. lol. Wasn’t even tripping. It was like $ 10.

5 stars on location if you luck out and get one of their outdoor tables with shade, right by the water and great people watching. They serve pitchers of beer and have fish plates. It’s fairly quick, as most of the food is fried, fish and chips, fish tacos, clam strips, fried shrimp ETC… none of it blows your mind, but it’s decent if you want something quick with good seating.

Too mediocre for the price. Family of 4 with drinks came out to 70 bucks. I would guess food most likely is frozen, with the margin they are charging for their food, they should be able to provide fresh seafood. Gumbo and clam chowder tasted bland without flavor. Popcorn shrimp and large shrimp overly greasy. Fish tacos, did not taste like fish… Very bland flavors. Staff is nice and beautiful views. I would skip this one next time I am there.

It was all good but nothing special. We ate outside in a patio area I wouldn’t suggest it. There were so many pigeons and a giant bug swarming around all the people out there. And no one even cleans the tables out there so we had to clean up other people’s mess up just to sit down! They are one of the more cheaper places around here but not somewhere id go back to. The food was plain and a lot smaller then we thought it was. I got the bucket mania not a bucket lots of fries and some fish. I chose popcorn shrimp, calamari rings, and crab cake. All good but not anything special.

This place is a fast food fish joint, the food is a hit or miss depending on the order. The mahi tacos with pineapple is the goto order and the rolled tacos arent bad. The fish does lack flavor nothing special about the menu. Its a good place to grab tacos if you are desperately hungry and in seaportvillage.

After looking over the menus at just about every dining establishment at Seaport Village, hubby and I settled for this place. For about 25 bucks, we were able to get the Mahi Mahi plate and the Build your own Bucket(3 fried seafood items served with fries). The Mahi Mahi plate came with 3 small fillets of mahi mahi, a scoop of rice and a very small salad with your choice of dressing. The«Bucket» which was some 11.50, consisted of 2 fried fish portions, 1 fish taco and calamari rings(those were the 3 items I chose; they also have crab cake, fried oysters, popcorn shrimp and clam strips). Glad they were served with a enough of shoestring fries because alone, this«bucket» of fried items was not enough for me. Taste-wise, the food was good, the fried items were very greasy(surprise! Lol) the french fries were not overcooked. Hubby’s mahi mahi was delicious; flame broiled and juicy. The rice and salad were nothing special. Portion sizes are not huge but between our two plates, we were able to make it work. Seating is strictly patio, either on the food court side or Boardwalk side. Nice view of the ocean from there!

Monday night date night with my boyfriend ended with dinner at Marion’s Fish Market! It’s pretty standard for a food court style eatery. I ordered a lobster roll and my boyfriend ordered ceviche. His ceviche was kind of small for $ 7 and they charged him an extra $ 1.50 for chips. However, my lobster roll was pretty delicious considering it had a lot of lobster in it and no mayo. I hate it when places put a ton of mayo in lobster salad. For about $ 9, I got a giant lobster roll and instead of fries, I substituted it for a salad. The salad was small. We would probably eat here again if we weren’t in the mood for Greek and we were in the area. Tip: Parking is only $ 1.75 per hour at the meters until 8pm. If you arrive around dinner time, you can parking at the meters and not worry about paying for parking after 8pm!

Was attending a symposium for work for week at the Hyatt, and I went here for lunch a couple of times. The fish tacos are alright, and the seafood gumbo tasted home made. And they forgot my co-worker’s taco… didn’t realize this until we got back to the hotel. Their customer service seemed lacking… it was lunch time, but they acted as if it was their first lunch rush ever(hot sauce bottles were empty, no lids for sauce cups, making our orders to eat there when we actually wanted them to go). In my opinion, there are many other much better seafood joints in San Diego to spend your money at.

This place is good for what it is, it’s not supposed to be a high end restaurant, it’s somewhere to grab a quick fast bite and great if you want some fish and don’t mind sitting on patio tables and don’t want to be waited on. I enjoyed the crab cakes today, they were good and I was craving fried fish so these hit the spot! They were featuring a lobster roll which sounded good and the people ahead of me got fish tacos which looked really good. It is pricey for what it is but no more expensive that the other little places in the same court yard. Of course there’s a great view and music in the courtyard surrounded by lots of cute shops!

Food court fare at tourist-trap prices. And me, not a tourist. Silly me. Normally, when I visit Seaport Village, I’m not there for the food. Or, if I do succumb to my hunger and choose not to leave, I’ll head next door to «that Greek place» and grab a gyro to go. But this time, the hubs wanted seafood, and Marion’s menu looked the most promising. Since we had the mongrels with us, I decided on what I wanted before snagging an outdoor table and sending my husband inside to place the order. It was a typically beautiful San Diego day, and there were only two tables open, so I got the one that offered the most shade and looked the most clean, and settled in to wait. And wait. And wait. I actually started to get worried about my husband, because it was a loooong time before he came back out of the restaurant with our drink and a receipt in hand. Seriously, what was taking so long? He said that they weren’t exactly models of efficiency, and that was proven in the amount of time it took for him to order and for our food to be handed over. I ordered the Two Fish Taco plate, which came with a side of fries and a choice of soups(I went with the chowder). My husband got the«bucket»(term used very loosely) with the fish, popcorn shrimp and crab cake. He also ordered a side of calamari. Thirty dollars later, we’re staring at two tiny tacos, a sad-looking bowl of chowder, a side of calamari that I initially took to be onion rings, and a small plate that was supposed to be a «bucket» of food. «Bucket Mania!» they call it, complete with exclamation mark. Pfft. The tacos were unremarkable. I don’t know what kind of fish it was, but it was breaded and fried. The fries were at least hot, and the chowder was passably good. The calamari rings were strange and way too chewy and stringy(and I didn’t even know that combination was possible). My husband ate his meal, but I think it was more out of desperation and in an attempt to get our money’s worth than out of the joy of eating something delicious. I don’t know if I’m most disappointed in the cost of the food, or the preparation, or the size of the meals. They were all pretty disappointing, but I don’t know which offends me the most. Maybe the cost, because, come on. For thirty dollars, I’m expecting something to be mildly impressive, at least. Oh well, lesson learned, and confirmation of the fact that I just don’t ever need to eat at Seaport Village’s food court.
