This place rocks. I’ve been at Ocean’s Pizzeria plenty of times and I always had a good experience. The servers are warm and friendly, clean place, quickly service and the pizza is one of the best that I had in Pacific Beach, so tasty. I highly recommend this spot.

We went on Saturday night, this place has a great vibe, good music and great food. The menu has quite a variety with a lot of options. We ended up ordering the 20 inch ultimate buffalo pizza. It was huge! And really delicious. They also had a good range of beers on tap. A pleasant overall experience. Definitely coming back. I recommend this place for anyone looking for good pizza and beer near the beach.

I downloaded the Unilocal app just to write this review. Not only is this place way overpriced(spent $ 40 on food I couldn’t even eat). I ordered a calzone, salad, garlic bread and a drink. The calzone wasn’t terrible, but it was NOT good. So soggy, tasteless and cold. The salad was the worst part. WHOINTHEIRRIGHTMINDPUTSPICKLESIN A SALAD?! They made the whole rest of the salad taste like a pickle. The lettuce was so wilted, and was yellow. The tomato was 75% green. I couldn’t even eat it. The garlic bread looks like something you’d buy at 7⁄11 next to the register. And my drink was completely flat. Talk about a waste of money. Definitely will not be getting anything from here again. Very disappointed.

The whole place smelled really bad! It smelled like they mopped the place with dirty mop water? Totally gross!

Absolutely the rudest man in the world took my to go order tonight! Why he works here and treats customer like that I don’t know?! I cancelled my to go order before I even got off the phone with them and instead went to ZoZo’s pizza! If you like customer service this is not the place!

Well, it’s a small little pizzeria in a small shopping center. We weren’t expecting much but we were hoping for much better. The young lady working the counter was very nice. After taking our order she went to the kitchen… is she the cook too? Her guy friend came in and went into the kitchen, no big deal, but I think this made her rush our order. Plus there were 2 orders in front of us, so maybe she only had one«oven» & was trying to get our food to us in a timely manner. Not a good idea. We are literally stayin 3 – 5 minutes away. The sausage in the calzone was still cold in the middle. We also ordered garlic. OMG! Its the prediced garlic and there were heaping spoonfuls of garlic in every bite and garlic oil oozing everywhere. There was also NO ricotta on the calzone. The pizza was ok. The chilli fries were edible. The ranch was half full and warm… but the server was nice. :-). I recommend trying it when there is no one else in line and no one is visiting the staff, it could have potential.

If I could have given zero stars, I would have. I’ve had better frozen pizza than the stuff they serve here. Much better. On top of that, the chocolate cake I got was as dry as a camel’s crotch. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. You’ve been warned.

This place is awesome. One of the last little mom and pop shops still in operation in this age of cooperate America. Great service, and awesome food. You can pick the toppings for your pizza from a great list which includes toppings like spinach, pesto, artichoke hearts, and sun dried tomatoes(my favorite). Super good vibes here. The place is painted red and orange with cushy seats at some of the tables and they always play sick reggae music!

I always have this pizza when I am staying at the Blue Sea Beach Hotel. I ordered a 16″ pizza with double pepperoni and I needed to leave a couple slices w cheese only and Allyson had a great idea to keep the pepperoni away from the vegetarian’s cheese slices. She greated me when I walked in and was friendly on the completion of the order. I never have had a bad experience here and if you are looking for simple good pizza, OP is the place to be.

School lunch pizza is all I really have to say. The service was good and the staff was very friendly but the pizza was not good at all. In fact, I would dare to say it was the worst pizza ever. On a positive note, the French fries were pretty good.

I got a pepperoni pizza for take away last night and it was so delicious! There was so much cheese and it was cooked to perfection the taste was far better than moto pizza or surrounding pizza places. I will be coming back here.

Just as bad as the reviews say. When you get the food it’s really good but there is no communication between the front of the house and the back of the house. It took forever for simple pre-made stuff. We paid for food and they didn’t have the ingredients and wouldn’t refund so we ordered differently and it took absolutely forever for cold sandwiches to come out of the kitchen. Unfortunate that this is the only place in this area with this type of food.

They were the only place that didn’t have a line and I was in desperate need of coffee. I ordered a coffee here, there were two girls here who made my coffee with some warm water and an instant coffee packet. The coffee was gross. Their attitudes were even worse. There is a reason why this place didn’t have a line. It wasn’t worth it.

Not bad. We stopped in because my friend and I are staying at Surfer Beach and we are only 20, all the good beachside places seem to be 21+. The pizza isn’t amazing, and the prices are a little wonky. Should have realized that it was sub par when we walked into a completely empty restaurant. But if your staying on the beach and you NEED pizza, it satisfies the craving. We walked in and stood around awkwardly waiting for a waiter or someone, anyone to appear. Finally one dude came out from the back and explained the menu. He was really nice, but a bit spacey. We ordered and waited for our pizza for a good 20+ minutes. Looking at older reviews, the décor looks bright and fun, but the place was repainted and is now a dull green with no pictures or anything on the wall, save a really small TV. Overall, okay. We most likely won’t return for the rest of our stay though because there are some better places nearby.

This place is horrible. I should have walked away when I noticed the cashier hands(she looked like she just changed a radiator). Anyways not being familiar with the place and I was starving, I kept it safe with a chicken cesar salad. Huge mistake. The salad was presented very nice in a huge bowl BUT I received wet spring leaves with bread crumb croutons and soggy nuked chicken. Despite the wet salad I figured I would eat the chicken off to keep from wasting food. WRONG. Every bite of chicken I ate tasted like chewy gooey unseasoned mush. Worst place ever. How can you mess up a SALAD. I never write reviews but this place. PLEASEAVOID.

Visited this place last week. Walked in and ordered at the counter. Got a specialty pizza and a side order of wings. Sat down and and began drinking my beer which turned out to be flat. After a couple minutes of looking around I noticed nobody had any food on their tables. Noticing this I realized it was going to be a while before I got my food. After 45 minutes of waiting we received our food. The wings were good and had lots of wing sauce and ranch. The pizza was not the same. It didn’t have much flavor and had the same taste and texture as a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Not worth the cost and wait. I would not recommend this place and I won’t be returning. Too many good pizza spots in SD to waste any time here!

So walking down Pacific beach, we see this tiny little ice cream shop. They had ice cream, shaved ice, and even hot dogs. I wanted something different. So I picked a mango shaved ice Hawaiian style. You asked what that is? Well I did to and Hawaiian style comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom of the shaved ice. It was really good. Refreshing. They have benches where you can enjoy your cool refreshment while watching the crowd go by and a great view of the Pacific beach. Very cool time to just veg out and enjoy the beach. Oh yea seems like there is always a line for some ice cream and shaved ice. So if your looking for some cool refreshment this the place to come. What more can you ask for. Cool weather, pacific beach, interesting people walking around and of course the sand and more sand. Enjoy.

Went here because we were hungry and the Diego’s Dogs & Sliders decided to close for the day. We got the 10″ with soda special for around $ 6 — not bad. Also ordered a hamburger and fries. We waited for quite a bit — There was another couple waiting for their takeout and 1 other customer sitting down. I can’t imagine how long it would take if the place was actually busy! Pizza was good! Hamburger tasted like those soy burgers you get in middle/high school, but I liked it. Table was sticky. With the 2-hour parking validation we were able to walk around PB for a bit before leaving. Will I be back? Maybe if I was in that area didn’t know where else to go. :-)
