I love this place! Super cute and small with a Euro feel. I give it 4 stars because a) I think they should expand their wine tasting selection and b) they are only open until 9PM — I normally don’t even start drinking until 9PM!

This tiny tasting room is pretty darn cool. I have been wanting to come here since it opened. Can’t believe it’s taken me 5 years to get here! It is cozy, probably only holds a dozen people tops, but they come and go, and it has a cozy feel to it. Bernie is incredible; super friendly, and gave us great recommendations. We were primarily there to try the Gianni Buonomo wines(winemaker was there, which was cool), and the wines were absolutely incredible. Great value, too, at just $ 10/flight — 3 tasting glasses. Plus, you can buy bottles of the wine next door in the shop, and get 10% off w/your tasting receipt. Between the 7 of us, we also tried some beer flights, a couple wines/beer by the glass(the tastes seem to be a better value), and a meat and cheese platter that was very tasty. The wines and beer change weekly, so there’s something new to try every time. They have art by local artists on the wall, too. We had a really great time. Would absolutely recommend, and plan to return!

Cute hole in the wall tasting room that is attached to a larger specialty wine/beer/deli market. They offer beer and wine flights, there are probably 3 – 4 different flights per category(wine/beer) and will run you 9 – 11 bucks a flight. You can also sample single wines, but think the flights are a better deal. They also have some bar munchies, like meat/cheese boards. We tried ¾ wine flights. I also thing they change their flights and menu regularly. The tasting room is only open Fri/Sat/Sun from 4−9pm. And you get 10% off wines at the attached market.

I’ve been coming to the tasting room for almost 3 years now and am never disappointed. Once you walk in, the ambiance makes you forget about the mayhem and dive bars a few blocks over on Newport. The white lights and cozy setting makes it a great place for either a date or small group. Mike creates a menu of 3 distinct beer and 3 distinct wine tasting flights each week for a very reasonable price. Many of the beers are rare, highly sought after beers that can run up to around $ 20/bottle. Bernie(bartendress extraordinare) is on top of everything and can help you with tasting choices and any questions you may have. And the cherry on top — 10% off beer and wine in the next door market after tasting. Be sure to check the hours, Th-Sat only, 4−9pm

Small, intimate tasting room in the back of Olive Tree Market. This is a great place for beer connoisseurs. I really enjoy the beer flights with portion sizes just right. This past weekend I tried Sah’tea from Dogfish Brewery and since I have mostly been enjoying IPAs and Stouts lately this lightly sour wheat beer was a refreshing option. I would have never ordered that if it were not for the flight! Thanks Olive Tree! Love this place!

Wine flights are really good! Wish food was available longer. At least you can scamper into the market and grab some chips… but sometimes you just want cheese! All beer and wine selections are carefully chosen and thought out– snaps to you!
