I wish I would have looked at Unilocal prior to this experience. I was at the Great American Foodie Fest in AZ. $ 13 for Gator bites and cajun fries, I would have been better off getting a meal at Popeyes. A few fries and a few pieces of gator. Never again. I was excited to try something new and after that experience I can care less. The Gator tasted like nothing and the fries were cold and lifeless. I should have asked for my money back.

I love Cajun food and was excited to try Pearson’s today at the Sunset Station Great American Foodie Fest(Las Vegas). I ordered the gator bites combo with Cajun fries for $ 13 at which I thought was pricey, but figured the portion would be generous considering the price. I was disappointed to receive 6TINY pieces of gator atop a very small handful of fries. The taste was average and left me still hungry. I then decided to go back(against my better judgement) to try the jambalaya($ 8) and while waiting for it after paying I noticed other orders of the gator combo coming out with easily double the portion I was served. This was very frustrating seeing how I paid the same amount and received half of the actual portion. I don’t know if maybe I got the end of the last batch of gator and fries before a new set was produced, but I still don’t find this excusable. Busy or not, you should service all customers the same and everyone should get their moneys worth. I can definitely say I did not. Oh, and the jambalaya was bland. The hot sauce they had though helped to amp up the flavor. I regret going here over Southern Comfort. Lesson learned.

They came to the food truck festival 2015(Valley Center CA). They don’t have responsibility against customer at all. They don’t serve prompt order. They served lemonade but you know how do they serve it? They prepared ice into the ice chest with soda cans. You know how dirty and filthy soda cans are? Then they put such filthy ice into the cup then pour lemonade and served it. They didn’ t put gloves. They held cup with bare hand and scoop lemonade from big container. Of cours e their hand is in the lemonade container. Filthy …

Will not try the food from here again. I ordered a Po Boy and it had NO flavor. When I have Louisiana style food I expect to get lots of season in and spice which was non existent in my sandwich.

Tried this truck at the Riverside Food Truck festival today. Other trucks were busting out food fast. I waited 30 mins for my catfish and it came out cold. The guy before me spat his out and gave his food back for a refund. I decided to let them keep my money because Im a cook myself and it’s hard in this industry but seriously guys.30 mins for fried food and its COLD? Not worth the $ 10.

Ordered the blackened fish with cajun fries which was priced at $ 9 on the menu. The guy taking the order asked what two sides we wanted and we picked 2 sides(we were kinda confused bc the menu didn’t say anything about picking sides). Then he told us the total was $ 13 and I was like, «wait… it says $ 9 on the menu.» The guy taking the order stumbled, «oh i threw in an extra side for you so that’s why it’s $ 13.» ummmm did i ask for an extra side for $ 4? If I wanted an extra side I could have ordered the fish for $ 9 and another side for $ 3 instead of paying $ 9 + $ 4(=$ 13). There wasn’t even a single thing on the menu that cost $ 13 so I have no idea where he pulled that price out from. Nice try dude. Sweet potato fries were very nice. Fish was overcooked and tough. Should have chosen any of the other food trucks there.

I have tried Pearson’s a couple times when they have been in Las Vegas. I have always enjoyed it. Most recently it was at the Taste and Sounds of Soul Festival. We got catfish and Cajun fries. The catfish was great. I loved the breading, it was crunchy with a little spice. The fish was moist and cooked perfectly. The fries were ok, nothing special and just had a little seasoning on them. Kids ate them up though.

This is a food truck that was at the food truck toys for tots festival. We got jambalaya that was $ 7.00 and the fried Gator paired with Cajun fries for $ 10.00. The gator was fried and about the size of ½ chicken nugget. We received 7 pieces on top of the fries. The gator was chewy and flavorless the fries were cold and laden with grease. Inedible. The jambalaya was pasty. The rice was a gloppy mess and very little flavor. Too much good food here at the festival to pay $ 17 and toss it! Yuck! Is my rating!
