The Manger here is so nice and will accommodate every request. The food is consistent and good and large. I go here every week.

Ordered at 6pm, was told the order would be ready at 6:20pm. It’s 7pm, 40 min later and I didn’t get my food yet. Don’t go here. Other times I’ve been here they are always very slow.

They need to improve their take out operations… they are sooooo inefficient and sloowwww. Food is NOT worth the wait. I ordered online and was told my two entrees would be ready in 40 minutes. Ok, Friday night, I expect a bit of a wait. Got there at expected pick up time, waited to pay, and then waited another 15 minutes for my food. What pissed me off is that I had to ask for my order. When I finally asked where my order was, it was just sitting there on the table behind the cashier. Really??? No one bothered to call my name when it was finally ready. I absolutely despise inefficiency. The food is not even good Chinese food. It’s faster to drive further out of 4S to get better quality, and tastier food.

15 minutes spent in the line. 30 minutes waiting for my food. That’s 45 minutes plus travel time. I used up my lunch hour without even eating. My coworkers I carpooled with were already finished eating their meals from neighboring stores before I even got my food.

Great food but they make you wait forever to get your order. Staff are not the friendliest either.

They are soooooo slow. Especially with online orders. 40+ minutes for two orders of chicken is a little long, could make it faster at home. Their food is yummy but it’s too slow if you’re in a hurry at all.

Generally good food but we waited 45 minutes for our take out order, the manager was less than apologetic, and when we got home we found our order was wrong. The manager offered a $ 10 gift certificate for everyone but managed to miss us. She gave it to us but seemed salty that we asked for what everyone else in the store already got.

I got the chicken pad Thai and was very satisfied with my meal until I was sick and nauseous my entire shift at work immediately after. It’s the only meal I had eaten that day as well so it couldn’t have been anything else.

Disappointed. Online order gave them 45 min for carry out. That was 650PM. It is now 715 and I am still sitting here waiting. The point of utilizing online is time savings & convenience. Seems understaffed as food is just sitting on ledge to be pkgd. No update and few others still waiting. Unreasonable.

I had the mongolian chicken with brown rice and tea. Excellent food, fast service with a smile, as usual. A great lunch in a very clean, and relaxing atmosphere.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I am so disappointed with Pei Wei tonight that I have no choice. I put in an order online for three simple items: wonton soup, lo mein with chicken and shrimp, and a sushi roll. The roll was mediocre, not something I would complain about or write home about. The rest of the order was just wrong. First off, the soup was not wonton soup, it was some thick soup with tofu in it… maybe the hot and sour? Nonetheless I couldn’t eat it because it was too thick and just not appetizing or what I ordered. Second of all, the lo mein, which I paid EXTRa for chicken and shrimp, had ONE tiny shrimp in it and 4 pieces of chicken. Almost like the one shrimp was accidentally mixed in there. ONE shrimp. Typically people order take out because they don’t have time to sit down and eat in the restaurant, and after a long day at work it is truly disappointing to get home with a $ 20+ dinner that is completely wrong. Unfortunately I do not live near Pei Wei, so going back and complaining in person was simply not an option tonight. It would have been an extra 20 minutes back and then 20 home to get an order that should have been right the first time. It’s safe to say I won’t be recommending Pei Wei as a quick, affordable and easy dinner option.

Why oh why do I continue to return? Is it the big bowl of fortune cookies that you can keep dipping into until your sugar level spikes or you get the fortune that most suits you? Maybe the funky soda machine with the ability to make more than 5,000 combinations of drinks? One thing for sure is that its not the food, in particular the sushi rolls are awful and pre-made well in advance. Heavy reliance on sweet or salty in the sauces hide the ginger and garlic sauces to the point that you wonder what you ordered versus received.

I’m writing this review because I could have been killed. That is, if I had celiac instead of just a wheat allergy. About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I ordered the Gluten Free Sweet and Sour Chicken and Shrimp combo for dinner. When it arrived at my table, it didn’t look gluten free. It looked like there was batter on the shrimp. And at that moment I completely forgot that I ordered the combo, and there wasn’t any chicken on the plate. t asked the server guy if this was gluten free, and he said YES. Considering they recently changed the Sweet and Sour meal, I wondered if they changed it again. My dad was with me and tried the shrimp. He said it has batter on it and tasted orangey. By then I had already started mixing the rice. I took the dish up to the kitchen area and told the server that this probably isn’t my gluten free dish and that my dad thought it was orange shrimp. He then asked one of the cooks, and the cook said it was NOT Gluten Free. He apologized to me and then I noticed the correct dish on the counter, so I took it. What’s even more scary is that the server put it down next to the other plates and I think he served it to the correct person… after it’s been served to someone else, this is a big no no! Furthermore, NO Manager came to apologize to me for the mixup. You have to admit, this is a huge mixup!!! I used to love eating here, but it’s really gone downhill recently. Restaurant isn’t as clean as it used to be, the staff not nearly as friendly, and wait time are longer. Food is still good, if you get the right dish. All and all, I’m glad I just moved away from 4S Ranch. Probably won’t be going back there.

Polite and fast service no rush at 4:40PM. Clean facility nice Décor. The only thing that I didn’t like was the serving size to go was rather small they did however accommodate my request for an extra crunchy order all and all for $ 11 you could possibly do better but if you’re on a time constraint it’ll do

Came in at about 6:00 pm. It didn’t seem crowded but we were told before ordering that food will take about 25 minutes. What’s up with that?! This is more like a fast food place, right? I was hungry… starving…

Why is my neighborhood plagued with«so-so», mediocre, or even substandard restaurants? I’m talking about the 4s Commons and the Dove Canyon/Fresh n Easy strip mall. ‘Twas looking forward to some Chinese food, well actually because my offspring refused to go with Thai Food(CTK). It was convenient to order and close by. Now I realize I should not have chosen this place on those things. I should’ve known by now that we just don’t have a great restaurant in da ranch. It’s especially convenient since you can order on their website. But, that doesn’t take away from the lack of decent flavor here. I want go into specifics on how this place could improve their food if they could. I ordered 4 entrées: chicken pad Thai, caramel beef, sweet & sour shrimp and chicken lo mein. Chicken pad Thai seemed OK. It had the lime, but NOT enough peanut flavor in it. It needed more crushed peanuts in it. It was also spicy and there was NO option of spice level in their site. I wish they had, otherwise it was the best tasting of the 4. The caramel beef was a little overwhelming for me. It would certainly benefit from the omission of ginger and basil(I think it was basil). More garlic would be OK. Then you’d have something more palatable. The sweet & sour shrimp would be OK if it didn’t have too much breeding on the shrimp. I tasted mayonnaise in the dish, I don’t understand how that would make it in there. But if there is any, that has to be taken out. My son said it smelled like thousand island dressing. That might be the mayo. Strange! Chicken lo mein was just OK. That would have gotten the best rating had mi offspring not found a hair stuck to a piece of chicken. Oh gack! Why? Euuuw! You could see the root. Wash ye hands and wear a hair net when prepping food please. If they could improve on these things, I think they have a fighting chance at regaining my patronage and favorable reviews in the future.

I’m so disappointed that Pei Wei only has 3 stars – my family and I are regulars here! This is one of my favorite fast food restaurants because there are somewhat healthy options, and that’s rare for Chinese food. My dad always orders the Thai dynamite chicken(steamed instead of their default of fried), with brown rice. IMO it’s definitely better fried! I usually order, and share with my mom, either the chicken lettuce wraps hold the mushrooms or the Vietnamese chicken salad rolls. But what are wraps and rolls without their sauces?! The lettuce wraps sauce and the peanut sauce for the rolls are both so good and go perfectly well with the dishes. I’ve dined in and tried their hot and sour soup – a little too salty for me. Overall I love their shareable portions and ease of phone in ordering. They also have cookies they make in house. Right now if you do one of their online surveys via your receipt, you get one for free your next visit! If you’re looking for some good take out, come here!

Meltdown at Pei Wei 4S Ranch location at 5:30 p.m. on 5÷3÷15… You’ll probably be getting quite a few bad reviews from todays meltdown. I came in to order food to go, left to get something while it was being made and when I came back the restaurant was a hot mess. I saw 2 ladies yelling at the 20 year old girl who seemed to be the manager even though she said she was not. Her only help was 2 other maybe 15 year old kids. She started crying and I’m sure she wanted to leave but nobody was there to help. This is not any of the young employees fault. This is a big management issue that needs to be looked into. That poor crying girl probably gets paid $ 10/hour and she was way too stressed out for that kind of pay. I did wait about 30 to 40 minutes for a quick meal to go, which is why I’m writing this, but you all on the management side screwed up.

I’ve gone to this location a few times with friends and I enjoyed it as «upscaled Americanized Chinese food». It makes sense though since this is the fast food version of P.F. Chang’s. The people are very friendly, the atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the food is made fresh to order. What else do you need in a diner? Onto the food! Traditional Chicken Lettuce Wraps According to my friend, this is exactly what they serve at P.F. Chang’s as their infamous lettuce wraps I keep hearing about except it costs you less since you’re purchasing it here. I haven’t had the other lettuce wraps to compare but this was definitely quite tasty. On a bed of crunchy white noodles was a pile of mixed goodies: diced shiitake mushrooms, diced water chestnuts, diced scallions, minced garlic, and mixed tender and juicy chicken pieces. The fresh iceberg lettuce wraps were nice. I would’ve loved this more with butter lettuce though. What made this dish was the savory and tangy sauce you pour on top of mixed goodies after you put it on the lettuce. Honey Seared Shrimp Golden brown perfectly cooked shrimp with a nice tangy and sweet sauce with a little bit of heat. I enjoyed the diced red bell pepper and green onion. The crunch from the white rice sticks was a nice touch. I would’ve preferred if the noodles were fried with some vegetables(ex. onions or cabbage) like a cheaper chow mein rather than just egg noodles. But they were still perfectly el dente and it soaked up the sauce from the honey seared shrimp well. Mongolian Beef A sweet and salty soy sauce with fresh sliced green onion, sliced white mushrooms, and tender slices of beef. This was really tasty with the noodles(even though I wanted them to have more like the honey seared shrimp) because the noodles took on the flavor from the extra sauce and it was delicious. I do wish the green onion was slightly cooked though, but it was still worth trying! Sesame Chicken Sweet and citrus sauce with tender pieces of chicken. The bowl was served with fresh diced carrots, chopped broccoli, diced iceberg lettuce, fresh spinach leaves, diced onions, and topped with black and white sesame seeds. The brown rice was el dente and tasty. I wish i ordered this myself rather than only get a taste of it. Overall, the place has good food, is very clean, has open seating, and has friendly service. I’ll be back again when my friends want to come back here, but it’s not somewhere I would go on my own.
