I always enjoyed the food and staff at this Quiznos, but unfortunately it is now permanently closed.

I come here a few times a week to grab lunch. The employees here are always nice. They get my orders right and they’re fast. The owners are really nice too. The food is good and very reasonably priced. I like that Quiznos posts their calorie counts too.

I love Quiznos more than I can type in a little review for one reason– they have guacamole… Not just avocado– guacamole! I always get the turkey bacon guacamole and savor every morsel of it. Right next to sushi deli on broadway. You can order online and thy deliver. They are a mogul restaurant too! Great service, toasty delicious Sammies!

Food is average. Staff is rude and sloppy(well, at least there is one sloppy woman that works there. You will see her! LOL!). Staff can be a bit racist, preferring White, Asian, and Latino customers over others. Will not eat here again; but, then again, I doubt these KKK people really care! The other posters on here who gave good reviews probably fit the profile of a «good customer». Stay way please and show some solidarity with those of us in the minority. Thanks!

This is one of the best Quiznos I have ever been to! The staff is so friendly Frank, Fred, Izzy and Tiffany are solid staff member who are so nice, that you want to come in just so you can chit chat with them, they are always happy to be there and everyone has to agree that it’s such a plus to encounter happy and friendly employees. You can even find Izzy passing out coupons to the passer byes, to ensure diners get a nice discount when they decide to come in which is an extra perk. Located on the bottom floor of the Spreckles Building in the heart of Downtown San Diego, this Quizno’s has a great location. with a good amount of seating available to patrons. The restaurant is spic and span and they have a very wide variety of designer mouth watering sandwiches. I have had many sandwiches made here for my son, Father and myself and each time we have eaten their sandwiches we wonder how they make them taste like the perfection. Their cream of broccoli and cheese soup is delicious, as well they have ancillary items like chips and the most scrumptious cookies known to man. Calories are conveniently placed on the menu board so you know what you are getting into. Some of the sandwich selections you can enjoy here are the following: Veggie with Guacamole, Turkey Ranch with Double Swiss, Mesquite Chicken, French Dip, Philly Prime Rib to name just a few You can also indulge in wraps and soups and salads, catering is available, and this restaurant is a must if you visit or live in San Diego!.

I purchased a Groupon for catering and called to place the order on the last day according to the date on the coupon. The fine print clearly stated that orders needed to be placed 24 hours in advance, so I was planning on picking it up the next day for a football party. The manager, Frank, told me that the owner was not honoring the Groupon because I was to have placed it two days ago, and even if I had called yesterday(24 hours ago) they would not have honored it. In fact he told me two other Groupon customers had been denied yesterday per the owners instructions. Nowhere on the Groupon did it say that orders had to be placed 24 hours prior to the expiration date. It wouldn’t make sense to do so. Clearly the owner was trying to cut his losses and cared nothing about honoring commitments, customer satisfaction, or ethical marketing. Needless to say neither I nor any of my family will be patronizing this Quiznos, and they can expect a letter to the corporate offices. Hopefully Groupon will be more honorable than the merchant and refund my money.

This is a small Quiznos that gets me in and out pretty quickly. They have a help yourself jalopeno bar which adds that little Zing! to your sandwich. It is kept clean and the employees are friendly. Thank you for getting me back to the office quickly!(I think my priorities must be somewhat askew here! lol)

THUMBSUP! I used the Quiznos — Sub Shop — Sandwich Delivery Group Order option. NOTE: Just make sure folks click Submit Order and add to Group Order. It was 100% accurate, ontime, cost effective, easy and tasty. You have the option to set spending limits which is really handy as well.

I love quiznos, but the employees really suck here, especially the hag with the never wavering bitch look. They haggle you over any coupons you might have, and the sandwiches are lean on meat. Overall its just not an inviting place because of the employees and management. Go to the one near Petco Park instead.

it’s quiznos, i mean, what do you expect? i only eat here when im too lazy to walk farther to a good restaurant for lunch during the week. its pretty clean, but have had problems with bread being frozen, so it burns when it goes through the toast oven, and then they have to start all over again. their peppercorn steak signatures subs make my stomach roll over, and their new ‘lobster seafood salad’ sub is just plain nasty. if you want a quick and simple turkey and veggie sub, this is your best bet, and avoid the toasting oven. and defnitely avoid their tomatoes and guac, which always tastes rotten.

Quiznos versus Subway. Which franchise makes the better sammich? It all comes down to personal preference, but in my opinion Quiznos is the hands down winner for their higher quality ingredients and varied(and thus more appealing) menu. Service is super quick. The employees strive to shuffle you in and out of line at the speed of a Tokyo bullet train. Prices are fairly reasonable considering the place is situated downtown. I usually come here with either a combo meal or discount coupon in hand so honestly, I can’t complain too much. Thanks to recently implemented on-the-menu calorie labels, I learned that my standard small Oven Roasted Turkey and Cheddar contains 520 calories and regular Raspberry Lemonade contains 275 calories. Holy Guacamole! Those figures added up is severely over my allotted daily caloric intake for a single meal. Ha ha! Oh well. Sad but realistic details aside, Quiznos makes tasty sammiches.

WOW. Today they would not accept my coupon for $ 2.99 Sandwich+Chips+Soda deal because it was photocopied. They only accept the printed versions now. So, I just paid $ 6+ for the smallest(and kind of gross) Baja Chicken sandwich ever. If I had been warned ahead of time I could have got a sammie and small salad for the same price… and actually enjoyed it. Let this be a lesson for us all… Print out 20 of the coupons, just dont photocopy any of them, and you will be fine. This may seem like a trivial reason to be mad… but to pay 2x what the sandwich is worth especially when I am loyal customer just chaps my hide. I mean, I even have a goddamn reusable bag from them. WTF Quiznos. Needless to say, the ‘tards are still working there.

Lured in by $ 5 Large Subs ad on the window. Ordered the Veggie. got to the cashier, $ 7.78, asked about the $ 5, she told me that’s for the«bla bla deli Sub». The fine print, which is in the same color as the sign, says«see inside for details». For $ 8.50 you can go to the Juice Joint on 9116th Ave for a torta, smoothie, pasta salad!

Walked over for lunch and ordered two«sammies» for $ 2 a piece. I know they’re cheap, but its the same ingredients and process as the normal sandwiches and honestly — not impressed. They were both toasted: the cheese was melted(yay!) but the meat was cold(bummer!). And the meat on my steak sandwich was so damn fatty I had to pick it apart by hand. I mean gobs of fat. Not cool. So, will I be back? I’m sure one day yes, given that I work across the street. But will I order the Sammies again? Probably not, unless I’m down to my last two bucks. Stick to the regular sandwiches and you’ll probably be three star happy. Shoot, maybe even four. But stay away from those sammies and torpedos — the preparation of the sammies was shoddy and the torpedos look like breadstick sandwiches. Weird in a bad way.

Who said fast food can’t be healthy? Veggie Sub with everything except cheese on whole wheat bread. Maybe add some Original Sun Chips. Ummmmmm. Tasty and cruelty-free. WAY better than Subway’s Veggie Sub or other locally owned delis. I like my Veggie Sub packed full of veggies and most of the time they do that; however it depends on the staff. The overweight Mexican women doesn’t put that many veggies on it and puts way too much red wine vinaigrette. The other staff are fine.

I had walked/driven past this Quizno’s many, many times, but never paid much attention to it until I saw Eddie Izzard at Spreckels. A sign in the window said, «WESERVEBREAKFAST!» and people, I cannot pass up a proper hangover cure… um, I mean, breakfast sandwich. My pregnant best friend was recently waxing prenatal about these toasted egg and cheese sandwiches on a hoagie roll that she used to get on the east coast from«the corner deli». The way she described them… so seductively… it made me want one, too, but I had no idea where to get one. Where does one procure a sexy egg sandwich? So last week, I was pondering breakfast and I thought, «It’s Sunday, it can’t possibly be that busy… try the Quizno’s on Broadway.» I found a parking place right around the corner from the store and when I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to not only find it clean, but with smiling employees. In the *morning*. INSANITY! So I order a bacon, egg and cheddar on white and let me just tell you… this was hands down my fave cheapo breakfast sammy in the city. Thus far, anyway. It was just the right amount of toasty and they were not bacon teases. That bacon was crisp and it was mighty. Just the right amount of cheddar and well-cooked eggs they sent through the oven, too. I chatted with the owner, who rang me up and he was pleasant and welcoming. When I mentioned a problem with their soda machine, he was eager to assist me. Really nice. A few days later, I was compelled to go back and when I got down there on a weekday morning, they were out of eggs by 8am. Oopsie! Hence the 4-star review. But provided that isn’t a regular thing and barring anything unforeseen, I’m sure I’ll bump that up over the next few visits. If you’re downtown or just feel like braving one-way streets for a really good breakfast sandwich from an unlikely source, hit up Quizno’s.

Oh my goodness, even with the tomato ban this sandwich was stellar. There is always excellent customer service and they have a pepper bar! I love it, I fill up my turkey cheddar with jalapenos and banana peppers and if your feeling extra FK(fat kid), you can dip it in the horseradish sauce! yummo!
