the pizza is still quality compared to the rest of the chain pizza places. Definitely better however you will pay for a premium. IE you get what you pay for. The one thing I might recommend is they change the cliché beer selection as you have so many great beers in SD to choose from!

Overcharged us $ 10. $ 50 plus tip for 2 mediums and a personal side salad. Insanely expensive for pizza. Not worth it at all. — — — — – update 12÷7÷15 Wow! Promptly received a call from round table and they apologized and credited our account. Everyone makes mistakes but the sign of a good company is the way they remedy those errors. The pizza is still pretty highly priced but I’m very impressed with the customer service I received. Initial frustration also caused me to neglect to mention the store employees were very friendly during our entire experience.

Remodel makes this Round Table stand out from the rest, flat screens everywhere and a good beer selection to enjoy with good pizza.

Havent been here many times but its nice to see them trying. The entire restaurant is undergoing a facelift. it wasnt quite finished when we came but the floor looks great. Tuesday is their family night which is a deal for 7.99 ayce pizza and salad bar buffet. I hope to see them stay busy and do well and glad to see them making the effort

I remember growing up, and hearing many great things about this place. And believe it or not, I just barely ate here for my first time sometime last year then I went here for a second time the other day. Let me just tell you, that the food here is okay. Quite mediocre food, because there’s nothing that really stands out. Just another outdated pizza joint. It really doesn’t keep up with the modern demands of San Diego foodies. The pizzas are pretty chunky and they give you a good amount of toppings. I especially like their garlic twists and cheesy bread. Their cesar salad is disgusting. The tables are sticky. The candy machines and arcade are outdated. The whole place looks pretty sad to me. But at least the employees can be nice.

We really dig on our RT and its retro vibe. Beyond quality take out, periodically, after Friday«short days» at school, I rendezvous there with the youngins and my better half for the lunch buffet. They’ll prep your favorite pie on request, so we devote one half to cheese, the latter half to veggies and plate ourselves some fresh salad too. Post-pizza, we– I mean, the kids are rewarded with piping hot cinnamon twists, which put us all in a good mood. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Wanted to grab a few pieces from the buffet, which stops at 1:30. Got there at 1:29 but it was 1:31 when the cashier was done with the customer in front of me. I ordered the buffet and she asked the guy in back(who was literally standing there twiddling his thumbs) and he said no more buffet. You would think they would try to get another person to pay for pizza they already made but guess not. Won’t be back here ever as they clearly don’t care about their customers. Too bad.

Round Table has been a staple in my life for over 30 years. Kiing Arthur Supreme is friggin’ delicious. Problem is, this location is notorious for getting their orders messed up. Just the other day, they were on the phone with someone who had a pizza with botched/missing toppings. After he hung up, I ordered my pizza. I told him I want thick crust. What did I get? Thin crust. Friggin’ thin. I’ll admit, it was a tasty pizza — but NOT what I ordered. Managers: please work on your system in getting orders correct. Maybe print out the order for the cook with a bigger font or something.

Three stars because their ULTI-Meat is delicious: bacon bacon bacon. Garlic twists are good. BUT this is the second time they forgot our sauces with delivery. We can do without the boneless wings, they look and taste cheesy(no pun intended).

It’s been such a long time since we’ve been to a Round Table, so when we spotted this one not too far from home, we made it a point to stop in over the weekend. When I first called in the order, the guy who answered the phone asked if he could put me on hold… and then I waited on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up, he answered again, and took my order, after another 5 minute hold. Once we got in store, the staff was pretty friendly. The food was waiting for us, and we paid and were out of there in under two minutes. By the time we got home(10 minute drive), the pizza & garlic parmesan twists were cold :(The saving grace is that both the pizza(ulti-meat) and garlic parmesan twists tasted really good(even cold), but just a bit bummed after spending $ 30, our meal was lukewarm/cold. Also not sure what the long hold times on the phone were all about, because there was only one other customer there when we arrived.

Got their pizza buffet dinner. It was pretty bad. The pizza just didn’t taste like much. They were fairly quick about refilling items though. It was not worth the price. i remember round table being great. Kind of bummed my childhood memories were crushed.

40 min wait for 8 boneless wings, 6 twists, and a personal chicken gourmet pizza. The worst part was the wings and pizza were not warm. I would say they were between cold and Luke warm. For the price I would expect fresh from the oven food. Sadly, this was not the case here tonight. Disappointed in round table.1 ½.

More like a 3 ¾ Star Rating. Italian Garlic Supreme Super Famous. Super Good. Pepperoni, Italian sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, green onions, and lots of garlic on our Creamy Garlic Sauce. Fantastic.

Pizza buffet dinner. I’m in! The place was pretty busy but they kept the pizzas stocked. From where we sat, we had a clear view of the pizza prep area. It was clean and orderly. The employees were running in circles trying to keep up with the demand. Pizzas were good, especially when they were fresh outta the oven. My daughter devoured many slices. When we were there, they had a fun little raffle for the kids. Free of charge. They came to each table and left a raffle ticket per kid. Then they drew winners. The prizes were simple, inexpensive toys, but it made the winning kids very happy. We didn’t win anything, but we were happy that they had these little perks during dining. I’d definitely do this buffet dinner again.

This facility is so gross that it simply doesn’t matter that the pizza is just decent. The floors are disgusting and need to be vacuumed… yes, it is so outdated that it still has carpet. Tables were all greasy, we xleaned our own with antibacterial wipes. Will never come back. can’t imagine what is crawling around the kitchen.

I have been a loyal customer of round table pizza for over 20 years! But let me tell you if this shop is indicative of the low class, low expectation level of customer service that I have to look forward to… I will take my business elsewhere! The image of «one of the last honest pizzas«has long gone… from my memory! I am sick and tired of the runaround I was stuck on hold for 14 minutes trying to beg someone to understand where I lived and what my phone number was; before I could get them to understand my order… give me a serious Flippin break! When I finally was transferred to a manager he was clueless in customer service. This wasn’t even a busy day just a normal Thursday! Good luck! I used to love their pizza and be willing to pay the xtra money … No more!

While I like to broaden my horizons outside of my usual stomping grounds, sometimes I find myself asking, «Why do I bother?» Case in point: this Round Table Pizza location. I had purchased a couple of $ 5 for $ 10 vouchers from LivingSocial some time back and they were set to expire this past Friday. So off I went… The first inkling that something may have been off was being told that I could only use one of the 2 vouchers on this visit(meaning that the next time, the remaining one would only be worth $ 5). The second inkling was during the following exchange: Me: «Okay, I’d like the RT Sandwich.» Counter guy: «The RT Pizza?» Me: «No, the RT Sandwich.» Counter guy: «Uh, I don’t see it on my register.» Me(trying desperately not to sound like a rude wiseass): «It’s on your menu…» Counter guy(after looking at the menu): «Oh, there it is.» Me(resisting the urge not to bang my head on the wall): «…» As I still had some more credit left on the voucher, I also added a side salad along with a drink — and not only were the salad selections paltry, some ice cubes had landed into the Italian dressing(whether by accident or in an attempt to cool it down, I have no idea). Even worse, the salad tasted off; maybe it was due to the mushy cherry tomatoes, or the less-than-fresh lettuce and spinach, or even the weird tasting ranch dressing. If anything, the RT Sandwich actually wasn’t that bad — I had ordered it with pepperoni, sausage, and artichoke hearts, and at least they got my order right. Although, I wish the sandwich was a bit bigger and more filling… I’m surprised that this Round Table location is popular with the family crowd, what with the shutoff arcade and pinball machines, the somewhat dingy look to the place, and the aforementioned staff and salad bar problems I encountered. Maybe they come here for the pizza, I suppose, because outside of redeeming my remaining LivingSocial coupon, I won’t be.

Like round table pizza but this is the filthiest, dirtiest one I’ve ever been in. Layers of dust/grime in between the booths and windows. The number gave me for my order is dirty… Just wonder if they ever clean. I’m very suspect of my food that is currently being prepared.

Been coming here between 11:30am and 11:45am for a while. Get here and there is no pizza, no bread sticks only salad. What the hell? Did we have a late start? Luckily I’m a salad person so I can start with that.

Despite loving Round Table Pizza, our family stopped going here because every time we ordered our pizza, it would be made wrong. We order extra sauce on all of our pizzas. When we would pick up our pizza there would be almost no sauce and extra cheese. Every time. Recently, I tried the on-line ordering system. On line, I could add instructions. My first pizza that I ordered on-line was done right! Since then, I would say that 2 out of 3 orders were done right. We will continue to order pizzas from here as long as they are correct. I mean if we are paying over 20 bucks for a large pizza, I want it right. Take your orders to go, the inside of this place needs a deep clean and a makeover.
