This idea great little hideaway coffeehouse. Cozy seating inside & the same cozy feel on the patio. If it’s chilly outside the have heat lamps! I had the dark roast coffee. It was perfectly balanced; toasty cocoa notes & deep flavor. 16oz was $ 2.50 The staff is honestly welcoming, friendly, & expedient. Santos is very dog friendly with several water bowls on the patio & a jar of dog treats at the bar.

I’ve been going here irregularly for 3 years. I have never once had a pleasant experience. It’s as if the staff could care less that you’re there. Maybe they don’t want to be there? Idk, but I’ve never had the feeling that I *want* to return. The place is right around the corner from my house, so it’s convenient. Although Starbucks is right down the road, I genuinely WANT to support local businesses, but I also want to feel just a bit of gratitude for doing so. Their bagels and cold brew are bomb and the place is super cute. Santos: Work on the friendly service and you’ll be golden.

Santos is my ‘hood coffee shop so I consider myself lucky. The enclosed patio is perfect for bringing my dog along, plus the proprietor and all of the baristas are pleasant and helpful. And, yes, the coffee is great too! I’ve also recently developed a passion for their perfectly made hot chocolate. I guarantee a visit is well worth your while.

Santos Coffee House is a cute little coffee off the grid from the main part of North Park. Around is a neighborhood full of homes, and then immediately is a small section of businesses on the street nearby such as Thorn St. Brewery. The entrance opening has the outdoor patio, and then inside are a few tables and two booths. The menu has a lot and upon recommendation of the barista I opted to try the«Flying Nun». which ended up being very bold and too strong for my taste with 3 shots of espresso and condensed milk. It was very strong to begin with, but tasted better the more I mixed it. I did enjoy trying another drink which was the Reese’s Peanut Butter Mocha which had the perfect amount of sweetness, unlike my «Flying Nun» which I had to swirl the whipped cream/caramel sauce to water it down. Overall, it is a neat place to get caffeinated. you can catch up with friends or get some work done on your laptop. :]

The ratings and reviews really portray how fabulous this quant coffee shop is. Located right on the cusp of South Park and North Park. What I really enjoyed about this coffee shop is the open concept feeling inside as well as the cleanliness. Most coffee shops around the area get really warm and have bugs/flies that get attracted to the heat, and makes for an uncomfortable computer session at a coffee shop. The service at Santos was amazing! 5+ stars, the female barista was really open to mixing and matching my croissant breakfast sandwich and made me feel welcome to just use their menu as a guideline, and they could make whatever I wanted. I highly recommend stopping by for a cup of joe of a breakfast croissant on your way out of this area. I will be back again soon. They have a frequent member card and Tuesday are Two Stamp Tuesdays!

Pretty dope little coffee shop! The decoration were really cool and the ambiance seemed very chill and comfortable. The Lox bagel was really dank! I’ll come back to try some of their pastries since they looked super ! You can also chill and sit outside on patio with your dog since it’s pet friendly.

The highlight of my morning is coming here for my white mocha or flying nun. The people are super cool, the coffee is super yummy and I can even bring my furry babies in to grab my daily coffee fix. All is well with the world :-)

Flying nun was really good! Kind of on the sweet side, but still nice and strong to get you going. Also tried the breakfast bagels, the lox and cream cheese was delicious!

I tried Santos again and have the same feelings as last time. This seems like a place better suited to picking up your coffee to go. The cold brew was delicious, and the guys working there were nice, but those were the only great things. Outdoor tables are tiny – cute – but the seats are uncomfortable looking. The indoor seating is very limited. It’s just not a very comfortable place to plunk down with your laptop for a while, if that’s what you’re into. The quiche tasted ok, but the crust was totally soft. I like a flaky crust in a good quiche. :) On another note… we were there during the morning on a weekday and every single person who came in was either pregnant, with kids, or a dog. Or both. Just an observation. Not a bad thing. Just saying. :)

My friend and I were in San Diego for the week and we decided to stop by this place for brunch. The place is small, but nice and there was plenty of seating area. The barista was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the James St. James and it was delicious! I also ordered their signature drink — the flying nun, which was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the flavor was good nonetheless. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back if I’m ever in the area.

The area is very nice and quite and the coffee house has a chill vibe. They have a front yard where you can chill and hangout with your friends or your pets and inside is just as cozy. MENU: I had the holy graile bagel sandwich and an iced caramel macchiato to go with it and it was delicious. They have other breakfast sandwiches that sounded good too and the drink I had was on point. The menu itself is just a normal coffee house menu, the only thing that stuck out were the names of their sandwiches. I like how they have a description of what’s in the sandwich and you have an option to pick your own meat on some of them. SERVICE: The customer service was great. I had a friendly barista welcoming me to the place for my first time being there. The food came fairly quick. PARKING: No private parking, you will have to park on the street but don’t worry because there are plenty of open parking. Its a peaceful neighborhood with not much going on so it’s not busy and not very many cars around the area. Usually see people just walking there. Overall, this place is great and competes with the other coffee places around Northpark. Its got its own vibe going on and it’s away from all that noise on University St. which is nice. The place also provides board games and card games with a relaxing music playing in the background. It is a perfect place to spend a nice Sunday morning breakfast.

Love this place ! My boyfriend moved near this area a few weeks ago and I’ve been coming here three or four times a week since. Their breakfast items are delicious and the baristas are friendly. They also give treats to my puppy which I love! The outdoor patio is nice as well :) and they have free WiFi! Highly recommend :)

Delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the cheddar jalapeño croissant, and as it was warming noticed the selection of breakfast sandwiches. I said, «Oh I didn’t even realize those were there!» So the cashier said, «We can put an egg, bacon and cheddar or anything else you’d like on it.» So I did exactly that and it was delicious! The French roast coffee was very flavorful and robust as well. Cute little indoor and outdoor setup. Definitely recommended!

I knew I would love this place the minute I walked in with its cozy inviting feeling.( ) I need my fix, so I ordered the medium Americano and for eats, I tried the«Heavenly» pesto cream cheese spread with tomato on a wheat bagel.( ) The pesto cream cheese was quite impressive and delicious. It came dropped onto both toasted halves ready to be smeared.( ) I like that they allowed you to decide how much to spread onto your bagels. As for me, well I spread it all, added the tomato slices and a dash of pepper and I was set.( ) If you like cream and pesto, I think you will enjoy this as much as I did. It was very good. The Americano was bliss. The smoothness was addicting, but its flavor was king. The service provided by the two ladies running the place was superb. The provided great hospitality that makes you want to come back for more.
