This Starbucks is conveniently on my way to work. Sometimes I would stop here if I don’t have time for breakfast and get my usual multigrain bagel toasted with butter and tall ice water. Sometimes I get the tall Earl Grey tea or Passion Tea Lemonade sweetened depending on how I’m feeling that day. This place is usually pack, but it doesn’t take that long to get my bagel. Parking can be tricky at times since it is in the same shopping center as LA Fitness, Wells Fargo and a few other shops. The baristas are pretty friendly here so I’ve always received great service at this particular Starbucks. Just wished this Starbucks was a little bigger to accommodate more patrons since at times I felt a little cramped for space.

My nieces went in this store with friend, they bought favorite drinks, it was not that busy and some tables were empty. The manager came to their table and asked them to leave if they are not buying any drinks. They already bought their drinks and they were hanging like others do and that’s what we usually do in most Starbucks shop. But to be kicked out for that reason is not acceptable. They always using that store to hang out and have their fav drinks. We are not going to use this location anymore. Will not recommend.

I know a Starbucks is just a Starbucks … But this one stands out to me because their service is great. Most employees at this location are very friendly and genuine. I can’t remember his name but he has glasses and a beard(narrows it down I know) and he always delivers great service. Love when I get a chance to stop at this Starbucks.

Staff is always warm and friendly, shame this store is so small, only 2 comfy leather couches. Still, great coffee, tea and music and a view of the mountain

I, like most of America, love Starbucks. I gave this place and extra star because the drinks are always good. My problem is the unfriendly staff. The bearded dude is always exceptionally rude and the other two chicks who happened to be there this morning seemed irritable with my special order(vegan); not very Starbucks like. I only come to this one if I’m running short on time since it’s the most convenient location. However, I’m always left asking myself why I didn’t just drive an extra couple minutes to the location on the other side of the freeway.

This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen… I came in an waited for a good 3 – 5 min and nobody even acknowledged me… I said«hello» and still got ignored… Was not even crowded… at least the bathroom had TP… that the only plus for this poor example of a Starbucks. Booo

This Starbucks is always clean and well-maintained, and the employees have always been polite and friendly to ME… The manager Katie is particularly sweet and I TRULY doubt she ever«threw a straw» at a customer. These reviews seem like a biased attempt to attack her for some reason, probably from an unruly and rude customer. Don’t pay any mind! Fave Starbucks in SD!

I’ve been to this location quite a few times. I usually stop in when I’m doing my grocery shopping shopping. The male employees are all super friendly and there is one in particular who is excellent at getting my son to talk, he even remembers his name. There is however a female that works here who is somewhat rude and throws straws. It’s kind of weird because I’ve never had bad service at a Starbucks before.

Stopped in just now to get my usual late night chai with soy and pastries. I’m feeling very tired so I’m not sure if I forgot to say soy as I was ordering. Anyway, when I mentioned that my drink was meant to be soy, they were extremely nice about switching the drink out for me. Super fast, great customer service, and clean bathrooms! Thanks so much — keep up the good work!

Not the easiest or most convenient Starbucks to get to but the service is good and the store is well stocked and clean. I usually stop here after a workout at the gym around the building.

Went in the morning and spoke to my usual baristas about my experience. Today I received a genuine apology, my drink made exactly how I like it(and which I didn’t have to order since they already know how I like it) and the excellent service I have become accustomed to from the morning crew! I appreciate the time they took to listen to me and the follow up that will ensue.

The customer service at this Starbucks has plummeted over the past few years. My fiancé and I just moved back into the neighborhood and stopped in here a few Saturday morning’s ago and the entire staff was absent minded and more concerned with socializing and cooing over a baby that came in behind the 3 customers in line ahead. Case in point: the baristas behind the counter were so oblivious to the customers that my fiancé walked across the coffee bar to retrieve his breakfast from where the barista was making it(to make things a smidge quicker for all in the store), and she didn’t even notice him in front of her face and walked all the way back to the other side of the coffee bar and threw it down on the counter. I believe it was the manager or assistant manager that was out from behind the coffee bar cooing over the baby because when this incident happened, she muttered a half-hearted apology for the inattentiveness of the barista once she saw my face and heard my comments. Call it an isolated incident, call it customer being overly-nit-picky, but if I’m paying $ 5 per cup of coffee and buying breakfast AND merchandise, I think paying customers take precedence over a baby in line. Wait until no customers are waiting for service to attend to personal time.

Wow, sorry to see this Starbucks trending towards bad. I visited Navajo location this morning only because my favorite Starbucks on Mission Gorge Road is closed for remodeling. It was relatively early and there were not many customers in the store. I quickly ordered my drink and then, as I moved towards the espresso bar, noticed the few customers were waiting somewhat impatiently. Looking behind the counter I noticed one barista who, to be polite, I hope was new. The barista appeared lost and took forever to do the simplest tasks. Worse yet, while customers were waiting she stepped off the floor into the backroom to chat with associates. When the barista delivered my drink she apologized for the delay(saved one star) stating the espresso machine was having challenges. I don’t think the machine was the one being challenged!

When I review big franchises like Starbucks my review is usually 100% based on the service I recieve because the drinks are pretty much the same at every one you go to. The staff here are always super pleasent and curteous! They always are peppy and are all smiles even when they have a line 10 people deep they never seemed flustered or frustrated! I can appriciate great customer service and I always recieve that here! There was one time that I was running late for work and of course because I was running late they forgot to make my drink, so they apologized and made it but then they dropped it and had to make a new one, but they did give me an on the house card for the next time I was there for the crazy wait which I thought was very thoughtful considering I didn’t complain or throw a fit, which is usually the kind of things that get things comped. It was a nice gesture and it was very much appreciated!

You know Starbucks. I’m not going to give you a review about the business, just the people that work there. I have been going to this location for close to a year and a half now and the staff always make me feel really comfortable. This location is one of my «safe places» They know my drink order, can tell what kind of mood I’m in(whether I feel like being chatty or just want to get my drink and go), and have never once made me wait a long time for my overly complicated drink. Not only that, but they pay close enough attention to make sure my drink is never wrong! There’s a Starbucks across the street where I live and I won’t go there. I drive out of my way every day for this Starbucks and the people behind the counter make it worth it. I’d list every barista by name and sing their praises, but you don’t need me to do that. Go in, let them smile at you and take care of your drink needs, and you’ll understand why I had to write this glowing review. Starbucks staff off Navajo, I love you.

This is my favorite Starbucks because they remember me when I come in. They are also very friendly otherwise, and always get my drink right. Everybody working here seems to care about what sort of job they do, and that’s really nice.

One thing I have noticed after visiting a number of Starbucks all around San Diego is that not all Starbucks are created equally. Perhaps, I should say, not all service at all Starbucks is equal. I stopped by here for my daily fix, given I was in the area. I ordered a tall Pike’s Peak and my usual morning bun.( ). I was asked if I wanted my bun heated and I told the girl that that would be grand, and she told me they would let me know, when it was ready. Well, I had a seat with my coffee and proceeded to sip on coffee and read the«Reader». A few minutes passed, and I started wondering where my bun was, but I noticed they were busy making breakfast sandwiches, so I figured they were back logged. Well, I waiting and waited, and about 6 – 7 minutes later, I finally heard a girl call out. «I have a morning bun here» so I got up to claim it. When I finally got it, the girl, big mistake, tells me that it had been sitting on the counter over there for a while and it is probably cold by now. Hmmm… I touched it and yes, it had lost it’s warmth. Although, the bun was still good, and the girl apologized for them, not making an initiative, to call out that my bun was ready, I was still a little perturbed with them. Coffee was good, the bun was good, but please let me know when my bun is ready…
