Starbucks

I am not a fan of Starbucks coffee, but I am a fan of Starbucks! Good sandwiches, great app, very consistent service, free wifi, plus perks. I really enjoy the double chocolate chip frappuccino.

Great, hard working staff. Drinks and products are standard SBux. Often busy and crowded. Outlets along two walls have been dead for two months. Why? Big storage cabinet collapsed at Christmas. Toilet often broken. Bad facility management.

Maybe they had an off day, but not knowing what your out of when orders are made and still making the drink wrong is just not good.

The batista did not put the honey in my coffee for the first time I have ever visited a Starbucks. They just handed to me? Then the table I used to put my honey in wasn’t level and spilled coffee all over me. In white clothes…

I like this SB. It’s conveniently located right next to Golden Bagel and other food locations.
Tables in there are not as full as other locations. The staff is friendly. Best part is it is located next to my house.
Parking is also great.
The only downside is during school season there are lots of teens after school. Line gets hectic, but goes by pretty quick.

Such a hard working group of great people… thanks for all you do to make our local PQ Starbucks THE best! I never want to go to a different Starbucks. Braden makes THE best Americano… don’t know how he does it cause he’s so fast too!

The staff here has always been really friendly whenever I’ve come by! Other than that this is a pretty standard Starbucks. Also despite what the Unilocal page says, they ARE open on Sundays.

Honestly Starbucks is amazing we all have our favorite drinks! :) I heard they just remolded and it’s beautiful, really cool. Personally,
MY fav drink: café vanilla frap with no whip cream. $ 5.25
If I want a hot drink tho I’ll get a vanilla latte I guess I like vanilla. This is the perfect place to get coffee

Starbucks is Starbucks. So my rating is simply on Customer Service. I have been in here about 3x a month for about 3 months. I have never experienced such a miserable group of Starbucks employees. Every time I come… no smiles, no care, no greeting. They seem irritated when asked a question.
It is quite depressing in here. I think I’ll take my business to the bagel shop next door seeing as I have to come to this strip mall once a week.

First time at this Starbucks and the guy that took my order seemed uninterested in even taking my order. Which is weird to me because I always go to Starbucks and everyone is always happy.
But plus side the guy that made my drink was upbeat and my caramel frap with extra caramel was on point like always.

Gotta take a couple stars away. Told the cashiers it’s my wife’s birthday and they just nodded without even saying happy birthday. This was the tues staff though. Weekend staff seems nicer.

Once you’ve been to a starbucks, you’ve seen all starbucks. But really, I like their new (ish) homemade sodas. Love the ginger ale. Great place to get some work done. Clean. Not the most interesting place, but I like it.

Typical Starbucks, rarely empty. Lots of chairs and tables, specifically one big table that is a great group spot if you can grab it. Also has outdoor seating, but not generally very clean. Actually, I feel like this Starbucks is a little messy more often than not.
Most times I’ve been here there’s at least one dog outside leashed to a chair. Definitely a place with a lot of regulars. Never had bad service, but never especially outstanding.

The Starbucks next to Golden Bagel. Just went and got a coffee here. I’m the only customer in the place.
Somewhat cute female cashier/​barista dirty blonde woman came off kinda psychotic.
I ask for a large half-​decaf iced coffee, and she informs me that they can’t do decaf iced coffee, but they can do an iced Americano. I say ‘ok’ and proceed to tell her to make it half-​decaf, to which she responds that they can’t do iced coffee!
So I tell her: right, an Americano can be half decaf, and speak over to the barista to have one shot decaf and one shot regular, and he responds that he understands. He’s got me. Great.
Psycho cashier rings me up and the price is a tad low, so I ask to make sure the order is LARGE. She glares at me and insisted I had said tall. (I never order tall/​grande/​venti when ordering at Starbucks, because their sizing names are stupid and I refuse to use their idiotic vernacular). So, she looks visibly irritated and rings me up for a «venti» (large), and tells the barista a «venti» (large), while giving him a «look.» Like I’m idiot, because her crazy brain insisted I ordered a «tall» — a word I’d never use when ordering coffee.
I have a friendly conversation with the male barista making my drink. He’s personable. I can over hear the psychotic female cashier going off about the «tall» thing to someone in the back. She made a few mistakes, that’s fine, but she’s being a complete psycho about it. Glad I don’t know her personally. Yeesh.
I never have these problems when I go to Peets on Camino del Sur, because they don’t use stupid vernaculars for their drinks and don’t have to translate what a small, medium, or large is to them. Plus, they have nice baristas, not irritable psychotic ones.

Terrible TERRIBLE Starbucks service. Having worked at Starbucks for 2 years before, was honestly surprised at how bad the service was.
Walked in at 7am, with only 2 other people in line, no one waiting at the counter for drinks. Still took over 15 minutes to get an iced coffee because the baristas were laughing and talking to each other about their mornings. You can see the back room from the side of the counter and saw people talking their after taking our orders. Not to mention the milk and sugar station was incredibly messy. I had to wait another few minutes after getting my iced coffee because I asked for whole milk and they didn’t have it on the counter. The barista said that it would be a few because she had to clean the steamer (with NO ONE in line?!)

Good coffee and service. We usually come here when we get bagels next door. Sometimes we walk here on weekend mornings. It’s usually pretty busy at that time but we don’t mind the wait. A few regulars hang out in front, sometimes with their dogs.

Went in for the starbucks rewards member happy hour, which is until 6, at 5:30. At first i didnt pay attention to the amount charged when ordering but looked over the app afterwards and noticed it wasn’t half off. So went and asked the barista and he seemed really rude. I just asked him if the happy hour for reward members was from 3 – 6 and he said «5−6″ and ignored me afterwards. So went over to the cashier and asked him and he knew nothing about it and that it might deduct automatically. He said they only make the coffee and doesnt have control over the cards.» If i were to go to the westview parkway starbucks in mira mesa i would get much better service and more knowledgable employees.
Ordered a green tea frapuccino and there’s a lot of chunks of ice in it.
Will be keeping track if the full amount charged is deducted over time.

I have been back to this Starbucks location a couple more times. Sometimes the service is above par and sometimes it is sub-​par. It’s hit or miss at this location. For example, I always order a tall Pike coffee and I never have to wait for them to fill it with the designer coffees. I actually had to wait Sunday and I was baffled.

I usually find myself here because I need to write something and it is impossible to do so at home. It is pretty similar to every other single Starbucks I’ve been to. There is nice outdoor seating and free wifi. It’s the best study spot I’ve found so far :)
