This place is no Jamba Juice and it’s the same price! Don’t waste your time if your looking for a good smoothie, juice or sandwich. There drinks are plain and tasteless. Subs are ok. They guy helping me didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing.

This place does suck. The sandwich bread is, admittedly pretty tasty. The meats, veggies, and even the condiments were barely average. The meat itself looks like it came from the Walmart brand sandwich slices — I know because I’ve purchased them before, and they looked and tasted exactly like the kinds I’ve had in the sandwiches. Can’t speak for the juices, but I’d check somewhere else for sandwiches. Next time I’ll just go to Humbertos like everyone else.

Really great sandwiches, even better prices. Haven’t tried the juices but they looked delicious! The guy working there was really friendly. Not the fastest place to get a sandwhich but worth the wait and much more tasty than Subway. We will certainly be coming here again. The name has changed to Anakins Fruit & Salad Deli but it’s in the same spot. Easy to find if you look for the laundry mat next door.

I’ve only ordered the mexican pico de gallo fruit salad and it was AWESOME! They use Tajin seasoning on the fruit and put lime and lemon juice on it – so good. You’ll never want to eat plain fruit again! When I go there I just see what kind of fruit they have that day and tell them exactly what I want on it. My friend got a sandwich from there and it looked pretty big and the bread looked good but I haven’t tried one myself… yet! I drafted this review a while back and just getting ready to post it and I think the name of the place has changed since I first went but don’t remember the name now but it’s at the same location so you’ll be able to find it.

This place is great for a cheap 3 dollar 6 inch sandwich. I personally thought the employee used way too much mayo/oil/mustard when making my sandwich, but everyone has their own way of doing it. The turkey didnt taste as fresh as it would of been if i made it myself, but you get what you pay for. For the cost of a sandwich, you cant go wrong here. I would definitely suggest getting the breakfast sandwiches over the six inch/footlong sandwiches. The breakfast ones are amazing!

The bread and meats are decent. There are tasty smoothies and fruit. My review is based on the service. Molasses flows fast than the people that work here. Yeah its nice and all you have you wife and kids working with you but letting your 2 year old run the cash register when I have some place to be isn’t cool. Every single time income it takes 15 mins to get out the door.

Stopped in on my lunch break and there were 2 people in front of me. One lady was ordering as I walked in and there was only one man working. He finished making her sub and moved on to the next lady. After making her smoothies, it should have been my turn to order. Then the phone rang and the man picked it up, jotted down the order, and began making it. Um, seriously? I had been waiting for 10 minutes at that point because, again, one guy was making all of that food. But to take a phone order over the customer patiently waiting in front of you? Absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER go back in and quite frankly it didn’t look that great anyway, so I’m not too worried about it.

Okay, so I decided to give the place another chance. The subs are not that great, just average. But if you are in the mood for fruit salad this is the place I go. They make good fruit salad(except one time when the mango was frozen). If you are in the mood for a fruit salad, I would recommend this place.

There’s about as much to this place as there is to the name of it or the sign above the doors. Limited menu, bland meat, and very basic fixens. It’s pretty much a Subway with way slower service and a dollar more for a $ 5 foot long. I’m not saying I’d never eat here again, but I’d never go out of my way to get a Sub 2 Go. They do have smoothies and fruit bowls so I’ll bump ‘em for that, but in this competitive sando world if you have«Sub» in your name you’ll be expected to bring more to the table in the sub department if you want people to come back.

I come here while doing laundry next door and get special drink juice called«vampiro» it is like fruit and vegetable juice mix that have beet juice that make it red like blood that why they call it vampiro. The juice make fresh in front of you– but this taste weird to me. Like maybe the mix of fruit and vegetable juice I am not used to, it wasn’t bad but it did make me feel really healthy after that for a while so someday I am going to go on a diet or something to get more healthy then going to come here more often :/ They close too early for me Golden hill is late night place they should stay open later then get another star (-_-)

Trying to get in shape for the summer is a huge chore but coming here for a fresh«juice» drink is really helping! I come here pretty much every day because its close to my work. This review is based on the juices only b/c I’ve only ever gotten the same thing. I always get the«Beet, Carrot, Celery» juice. Its fresh veggies that are thrown into the juicer then squeezed into my cup. I feel instantly healthier after I drink this. It’s very refreshing. The subs look tasty. I’ve never seen a bad sandwich exit out the front door.(And I’ve seen a lot b/c it usually takes forever during lunch hour). So I give four stars because I’m very picky and I like to see exactly what i’m eating and its fresh. I wish it was a little cheaper(its 3.50 for a medium 5 for a large) and that it was quicker. My juice takes 1 minute to make and the people in front of me in line ordering huge sandwiches take forever. and it bugs. nice people tho. good place ;)

I’ve never had a sub here but the juice is awesome. The two ladies that run the place are nice and friendly, even to an English-speaking dude like me. I know it’s just juiced fruit but it really tastes great here. The sub ingredients look fresh, but I’ll probably never get anything other than the juice.

Of course this place doesn’t actually specialize in subs, but in Mexican style fruit salads, smoothies and juices. It’s an indigenous Mexican tradition, and the five dollar Mexican style fruit style I bought here was literally best value, and the best fruit salad I’ve ever had. Get hip to this place, Golden Hillizens, but stick to the fruit products.

Whoa, what the hell happened here? This place shut down for a couple of months and then it re-opened as psuedo-smoothie place? Why would anyone go there when Krakatoa is like a block away and it’s better. They still have like 3 subs, but the ingredients are no longer being sliced in front of you, which is a shame. This place is pretty much dead to me.

Okay, here’s a quick review. Today was my first visit to this place. I thought the sub selection was pretty good. The staff was friendly enough and my sub was good. I’m not a huge sub fan or anything, but I will definitely go back for another when I’m in the mood for a cheap eat.
