Subway

Came in for a quick breakfast because I knew I would be able to get in and out. Since I was the only customer present, I knew that I had made a good decision. I opted to get the daily deal, which was turkey breast. When I asked if this item was available at breakfast time, I basically got a blank look from the «sandwich artist.» She clearly had no idea what I was saying so I repeated myself but she still had no clue. She began to talk to a lady that was standing around the corner in Spanish. I realized there was a language barrier, so when the other employee came around to help, I figured she would be able to answer my question. This was not the case. She too had difficulties and as I began to get more frustrated, I spoke broken Spanish to solve my problem. The sandwich itself was a typical Subway sandwich and satisfied my hunger as expected. My frustration solely stems from the difficulties the employees had answering a simple question because of a language barrier. Subway… please hire people that can speak English and Spanish.

The staff is always friendly and it’s nice the they all know their own prices /​what to charge. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to a Subway where I order the same thing (breakfast with the drink combo), and I’ve got a different price each time. AND, they make their iced tea first thing in the morning, unlike a lot of other Subways. I’m not a coffee drinker, so it’s wonderful to have a drink option so early that isn’t soda.

I just went about an hour ago and as I’m trying to get my drink filled at the soda machine holding my 9month old son my 3 ½ yr old son goes and sits down at a table drops my sandwich on the floor then goes to pick it up and unwraps my sandwich all over the floor both employees see and when I go up to the front to see if they could fix me a new sandwich and I’m a regular which is even more disappointing they said they couldn’t I was so livid I threw my sandwich away and left in utter discuss had it been anywhere else they would have given me a new sandwich. I worked for Rubios for 4yrs and we replaced so many food orders that had been accidentally dropped by kids or adults even the Elderly we not ONCE told them sorry we can’t remake your order. It was disappointing and I left VERY ANGRY and VERY HUNGRY I ended up going to sonic to eat!

Good sandwich. Fast service. Big thumbs up. Place was also nice and very organized. I do recommend this place for a quick bite. The employees were nice and had a nice smile. Would likely to come back anytime.

Great service. The lady that helped daughter and I was really great. We went on Sunday 02÷22÷15 at about 12pm. She made my daughter the sandwich she wanted and and was so kind. I got the footlong steak and cheese and it was delicious! Perfectly made, both sandwiches. Great customer service. The lady was an older, middle eastern /​hispanic woman, very very nice.

I have gotten sick twice from eating at this subway both times I ordered a BLT on white bread, little lettuce, tomato, black olive and mustard and mayo.
I haven’t eaten here since then

BAM! My number ONE Subway of all times !!! Why? Big things come in small packages! (note this is ½ the size of most Subways). Now for the STARS of all Subway Staff! Jose Big dog in charge! Nice! second Beatriz always has a great smile on her face! and the Man on charge Jesus ! Excellent Service knocks out mo subs than anyone! I have HUGE orders come in at the last minute each one as great as the first! Great Staff This is the BEST Subway out there! no one can compete with them (Jersey mikes) doesn’t even come close. Keep up the great work crew! We will always come back!

I always go her .I live down the street great customee service from SOME employees. but sandwhiches are great .I always do the survey on back of my reciept to get a free cookie :)

Never had a bad sandwich here, price is right and the servers are really nice. Try the raspberry cheesecake cookies, they are to die for. I always get the meatball sub ala Sheila, meatball on Italian with spinach, olives and red onion topped off with sweet onion dressing. As RR would say yum-​o.

I love subway so this is really about the customer service. I was ignored and could not believe that they kept talking and I had to wait for 7min to order. They kept speaking Spanish and ignored me. I wish I spoke spanish to curse them out. The manager should read this and do something about it. It is close to where I live and next time you earn the 5 star I will do it…

Welcome to Subway! When they first started doing this it was forced and phony. Most times they didn’t really even look at you just yelled it out when the doorbell chimed. Months later, they are in the groove with it and it feels natural and I actually feel welcomed.
The food is good. I love the fresh baked bread. I like you can turn any sandwich into a salad and I think it is a totally fair price, especially the $ 5 foot-​longs. They have a good variety of chips, when I choose to partake and I really like that they serve green tea. Just wish it was available at breakfast time.
And they have good breakfasts too. A nice warm sandwich under 200 calories is a great way to start my day.

Nice little subway in my area, my only beef with the store is the
5 dollar ANY footlong false advertisement.
Read the fine print… actually, there is no fine print.
But non the less, good, cheap, sam’ich regardless.

It’s a subway; super close to my pad, quick and cheap.
Employees are nice, though; not because they have to, but I really think they just are a good people working here. Now if Subways near my work were this nice…

I’ve eaten at every Subway. I know a thing or two about Subway. This is Subway review #5.
Pros for this location:
— It seems pretty clean.
Cons
— They don’t seem too quick here. I’ve always had to wait a few minutes.
— They don’t pull that «no bathroom» crap.
If you are near here and want a sandwich, this place is fine. It’s one notch above an average Subway.

Us Normal Heights residents are quite protective of our small businesses, so no one was overjoyed when Subway came in.
That being said, we really did need more casual food options (unless you want to go to Villa del Mar for lunch every day). And this Subway isn’t half bad. The employees aren’t completely drug addled like most locations, and are even downright helpful at some points. There have been a few times I’ve gone in when breakfast was over but they made it anyways and refilled the coffee to boot. All with smile on their face. At minimum wage I can’t ask much more from them than that.
