This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a sunglass hut. There was no greeting when I walked in the door and after I asked the gentleman to please tighten the arm of my RayBans he snatched them out of my hand without any acknowledgement. He proceeded to fix my sunglasses then pushed them back at me with a grunt. I said thank you and walked out of the store. I then walked back into the store and let him know how disappointed I was with his attitude and his service. He and his coworker smirked and laughed at my honesty. I work in retail and I work with people every day and I have NEVER experienced anything like that. They were so rude and sarcastic. I’ll never go back and I’ll never recommend that shop to anyone.

Very poor customer service. I bought my Coach sunglasses in April 2014 with 12-month warranty. Exactly after 13 months the sunglasses broke down because of the manufacturer defect. I was taking good care of them and stored them only in the case. I came to the store to return them, but they said that they can only give me 50% discount towards another purchase since 12-month period has already passed. I didn’t know that the expected life of Coach $ 200 sunglasses are supposed to last for 12 months only. Ok… I agreed for that. They have this new super fancy system when if you lost the receipt, they will find you in the system. Guess what? It didn’t work. They ask me to bring the receipt. Next time I came back with the receipt. I waited for 20 minutes while they were helping other customer, and then 20 more minutes while the associate was trying to process the refund. Then she gave up and called the manager who said that you a manager can do this refund. What are the sales associates for then? And the manager will be in the store only tomorrow and they asked me to come back tomorrow and waste another afternoon at their store. I am not sure only this location has such terrible after-sale support or the entire chain. But I will never about anything from Sunglass Hut again. Such a disappointing experience…

Went in today to exchange a pair of sunglasses I received as a gift today. There was only one employee Kaila working & multiple customers in the store. She attended to me as promptly as she could but I just spent the short time waiting browsing the walls & trying on different pairs of sunglasses. The store cleared quickly & I was the only one left in the store. She was very patient with me because I was being very indecisive for which sunglasses to opt for when I finally decided she took care of my exchange & cleaned the glasses for me. She also heated & bent the frame for me so that they would have a better fit on my face! Great customer service so I left very satisfied with my purchase/exchange.

This chain and store in particular is an example of some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They took a simple return and made it into a three week long ordeal. They made me argue with them and even call customer service just to get my money back. I do not recommend shopping at this store or any Sunglass Hut ever!

Sunglass Hut’s warranty is worthless! I bought a pair of Ray-ban sunglasses for a gift and was told if the person I bought them for did not like them they could either bring them back for a refund or exchange. The person I bought them for found the exact same sunglasses at Macy’s for about $ 35.00 less so we decided to take the glasses from Sunglass Hut back. They would not take them back and offered no reason other than that they can refuse refunds even though that violates their posted policy and actual law pertaining to retail transactions. I will never shop at Sunglass Hut again!

Terrible customer service. I was just here with my sister for 5 minutes without being greeted, approached, or even acknowledged. I was planning on purchasing sunglasses today but walked out when the two ladies working were standing there doing nothing and didn’t help. The sad part is that it’s such a small store and they couldn’t even acknowledge my presence. They didn’t even ask if I needed help, I mean even Wal Mart employees ask if I need help. What do you guys get paid for???

I purchased a pair of Burberry sunglasses that are having problems with the polarized lens lamination. The frames are in excellent condition and the lenses are nearly scratch free. Even though I purchased the sunglasses over a year ago, I thought Sun Glass Hut would recognize it’s a manufacturing defect and either help me communicate with the manufacturer or at least offer me a discount on another pair. Basically, they chose not to do either. Come on, I can’t be the only one complaining about this problem. Customers do not spend $ 300 on glasses without some loyalty to a retailer. Sun Glass Hut probably makes over 70% margins on glasses. This was an opportunity to sell me on your excellent customer service. Too bad this customer walked away disappointed. There are many other sun glass options in the same mall.

I have to say, «Shannon» the employee who assisted me here deserves a raise. Given my inability to make a quick decision on a new pair of polarized high quality sun glassed, I had to practically try on several dozen pairs and ask twice as many questions. I was very impress with how knowledgeable Shannon was across the different brands, not to mention the patience and professionalism she demonstrated throughout my visit. Well done Shannon. After about 30 minutes, I decided to go to Eureka, a few stores down, for some lunch and mull it over. After lunch, I returned to the store and went forward with the purchase. Shannon gave me help tips regarding the care of the Ray Bans I chose( ), and she explained the 1 year guarantee offered by Sunglass Hut International. To make a long story short, I left a very satisfied customer with a grin on my face, and with my new sunglasses on my face! Aren’t they perdy???

I love purchasing sunglasses from the sunglass hut, because they are always very friendly and have good customer service. Usually I can bring in my sunglasses if they get warped or stretched and they heat them up and tighten them for me. However, this location had terrible service. The lady working there was not helpful at all and said that even if she heated them up it would just make it wider. I explained that this $ 200 pair of sunglasses I had purchased there no longer fitted my head. All she said was«too bad.» I’m going to go to a different sunglass hut and get it fixed because this place is no help.

I spent a lot of time looking for a new pair of prescription sunglasses, with no luck. I was just passing the Sunglass Hut and thought I’d ask if they make prescriptions. Kristen said they didn’t, but they have an agreement with Lenscrafters for a discount. I explained to her what I was looking for, she looked at my face for a second, and then pulled out the perfect pair of glasses! They were a little out of my price range, but she had something very similar that wasn’t. I really couldn’t believe it. She is amazing. I have a small head and I couldn’t find anything small enough to fit under my hat. I took the glasses to Lenscrafters, but they said they were too curved to make into prescription. I was pretty bummed to say the least. I went back to Kristen and she sent me to another shop in the mall(West Coast Eye Care) that had no problem making them. They even charged less than Lenscrafters. I was extremely pleased with the way things worked out. Kristen was so helpful, she really is great at what she does!
