I’ve been a regular for over a year. I loved how Michelle cut a friend’s hair, and decided to come see her. Then, I bumped into Edward, who’d been cutting curly hair for AWHILE. With my kinky hair, I had to check him out. My cut is on fleek! Let’s just say, I need to start carrying around his business card. I’m getting soooo many compliments on my new ‘do. Thank you, Edward!

So I’m from Alabama and we are on vacation in San Diego. I wanted to do something different being so far from home, so I decided to get my hair cut different. My hair was ruined from bleaching it so much so I was kinda nervous when I walked in. Lokki took care of me and he explained how to treat my hair and what I should do to help with the damage and gave me a new amazing cut that I love and is super easy to fix. He was so friendly and helpful. My only problem now is when it’s time to get my hair done again I’ll have to fly back out to San Diego. That’s going to be an expensive hair cut the next time. Thanks Lokki for being so friendly and helpful. Love my new hair. :)

I am the kind of person that does not go to the same stylist or make appointments. I am in a hurry and when I want a haircut I get one right then. That all changed when I started going to Lokki. He does such an amazing job on my hair and also eyebrows. This is the second salon I have been to see him and I will keep following him. He knows exactly how to cut and style my hair to make me look and feel great.
Besides being an amazing stylist he is so much fun to talk to!
He gets five stars!

OMG… been going to Supercuts for 8 years. Jack was always available for my roommate and I with an appointment. Sad to say he is gone. Heard he is opening a place in May somewhere nearby? Anyone have details???

Ok, called General Manager and she said they had a new manager since we were at Supercuts Mission Hills and she said they she cut hair good and we wold like her. Went back and was totally pleased. I guess at some point they «Cleaned House» and the last person we had problems with was no longer there along with others. The change of management could not of been better.
So once again we are fans.

I went to this location today without an appointment and was seen right away! Edward cut my hair which needed to be fixed from a bad cut I got a few weeks ago, he did a great job. Edward was super friendly and didn’t ask me to buy everything in the salon lol!

I have been getting my haircut there since I moved to San Diego. And I can’t rave enough about Edward. Not only is he absolutely amazing at what he does, but he takes the time to explain everything! Every time I get a cut, I am ensured with the best experience! He takes the time and explains how the products help and what it does for you, while he’s using them and making you feel like you’re the only person in the shop. An absolute must have, and I can guarantee that he will have my business for years to come!

Beth did a fix it on a terrible undercut I received earlier that day at a nearby salon. She was understanding and gave me confidence to deal with the inevitable grow out I have ahead of me. She also straightened the crooked lines of my hair so that I felt comfortable going to work the next day. Thank you Beth

I went to a salon in Little Italy two weeks ago to get my haircut and I paid about $ 45 for an unsatisfactory job. Today I went to Supercuts and Edward gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had; I walked away feeling better than ever and it was less than half of that cost. This is a good spot, can’t beat simple real professional worthy talent.

Don’t go here. They give you a time to wait, yet they don’t let you know about appointments coming in ahead of you. They quoted me 30 minutes, I waited 45 and was supposedly next, but as someone walked in saying they had an appointment, I had had enough and left.

Edward is a fantastic stylist. He is young but cuts hair like someone who has been doing it for 30 years. He always comes up with trendy and new looks to try out that always turn out to be fabulous. Otherwise, he knows exactly what my normal do is and makes each cut better than the last. I’d highly recommend him to anyone trying to set a trend. Good job, Edward!

The owner of this Supercuts location reached out and apologized for the stylist’s comments. She also offered to refund the cost of the services and set up a complimentary haircut with her location’s manager.
Very nice and thoughtful.
Sadly, I felt no choice but to decline. If the services were great BUT the customer service was terrible — I might have considered but they weren’t. Yes, my haircut was good BUT my eyebrows were awful AND the stylist was heinously rude. No going back from there. +1 more star for the owner, still –3 for the stylist’s behavior.

I’ve had my hair cut and maintained by the same stylist for years. She’s always professional, but fun and very knowledgable when it comes to everything hair. If there’s a product suggested, I know it’s specifically for me and not just a sales pitch.
While in San Diego, I go no where else!

This supercuts location is in a cramped area of Hillcrest. If you manage to find a parking spot open and get in, you’ll find that the inside is actually quiet spacious and decently maintained. My stylist here was Pedro, who did a ggreat job with my hair and preferred to take a stylistic route to cut my hair rather than the quickest. He made for good conversation and if you go here, I would say you will be satisfied with his work. Also, prices are pretty reasonable for the area and there was hardly a wait time which is a plus. Overall, this is a nice Supercuts store and if are in need a haircut and can manage to find parking, then this would be a good place to go!

Just be honest. If you say 25 minute wait then when your friend comes in don’t put them in front of everyone and make the wait 50 minutes. And then say it’s because another person who was already in the chair requested color.
Also this is a Supercuts so you don’t get to take people out of turn because you do t want to cut a kids hair and lose that extra $ 4 in haircut price.

It didn’t suck and I was pleasantly surprised. Came here with my friend Bobby that wanted to get a quick haircut, he was thinking about getting it buzzed but changed his mind at the last minute. I said well damn, I need a trim let me try them out it’s just hair anyway and what’s an inch off anyway.
I got Jaime, she wasn’t very friendly at first but she warmed up to me after awhile and it was okay. Sprung for the shampoo as well so with a cut at shampoo it was $ 22 & a $ 4 tip and she was pretty fast and from what I saw did a good job for a quick trim. My Mom is a hairdresser so I know what to look for and know all the tactics. I told her my Mom is a hairdresser so no need to up sale me anything since I get them for free in my care packages from her.

I don’t get my hair cut that often, but love that I’ve discovered this great place, and especially Jack! I generally keep my hair long, so he was only seeing me once a year at best and always treated me like a regular!
Recently, my hair had grown so long that I decided to chop it off and donate it to Beautiful Locks, who make free wigs for women and girls dealing with cancer. Jack was the only person I’d trust to do this! Then, he created such a cute layered bob cut for me that I keep getting compliments on, that I may keep it short all summer! You’ll be seeing me again soon Jack!
