Binh is amazing! I took my dad in for a haircut and beard trim! He was very detailed and did the job with perfection! He took his time with him making sure he was satisfied with the service! I will be sending my husband and my boys as well! Thanks Binh !!

If you’re thinking of going here please reconsider. I given them so many chances and have been let down by even the ‘better’ barbers. I feel like all the good reviews on here are bullshi*. You will see that this place has this wannabe gangster vibe half the time. I’ve had one of the guys cut my hair while drinking a beer at 11am and he gave me the worst haircut of my life. These guys think well, at least we can do fades on the cholos. But seriously they are bad at all haircuts.

Been here twice. Rogelio cut both times and was super sharp, fast, professional and knows exactly what he is doing. Definitely recommend this place and it is right next to Windmill farms so you can get snacks after. Also I saw that they have the suavecito pomade.

Got a taper haircut from Roger here, and definitely was happy with it. I would recommend this place to any of my friends. The haircut was $ 15 which is pretty normal now a days. Clean place.

Really cool spot with lots of good barbers… Been there only twice but each time they took really good care of my son… Trust me when I say I’m really critical about haircuts being from Philly but, they were perfect. Also there is a Rita’s next door.

I’m on a quest to find my favorite barber shop so I stopped in here. I was a greeted professionally and promptly seated. The barber dumped a ton of gel lubricant stuff in my hair. I guess it was a replacement for a squirt bottle of water. The barber didn’t speak a word to me besides, square or round (for my neckline). Regardless, the service was fast but not very good. I asked for a cut as close as possible with scissors and he barely took anything off. I basically got a trimmed up neckline and not much else. I had to come home and even out my sideburns. They was about ¾ inch difference. I also rinsed out that gel stuff that he started with.
There are plenty of $ 8 barbers out there and at $ 15 this place is well overpriced. I won’t be coming back but if it is close to you I don’t really see a problem with it.
The one thing that bothered me was this low-​pressure air system that was installed and in use there. One of the barbers in the room kept on using an airgun to clean his tools. It was so loud. It sounded like a car garage. The air system was more than a tool cleaner, it was a replacement for hair dryers. Those air systems have tons of oil in them. Unless there is an oil removal system the engine lubrication oil travels through the engine, into the air lines and into the pneumatic tools, lubricating the whole system. There are no tools at the end of this system, only a head of hair.

Brought our 2 year old here and the owner took great care of him. He changed the football game to a kids show and sang him Christmas carols!!! He styled his hair with gel and gave him a sprinkle of cologne just like one of the guys. Super cute! Highly recommend this shop, even for kids.

Roger did a great haircut at a very reasonable price. Very friendly, clean and chill environment. Conveniently located with plenty of free parking. Am a regular and see no reason to change. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed. No question about the five star rating on this one.

I am new to San Diego and I have been looking for a good place to get my haircuts. I’ve tried all the highly rated barbers but I was never 100% happy with the results.
I came in for a lineup, on 3/​13, and a female barber took care of me. She did a great job, took her time and didn’t rush. I am very happy with the results and will be going back.
The price is very reasonable, there is plenty of parking, no loud music playing, very clean, courteous, professional and know how to cut hair.

John knows how to give a great fresh clean cut with either clippers scissors or a straight razor. He never disappoints. My 13yr old is always happy when he leaves Johns chair.
You won’t be disappointed her John and all the crew know what their doing and will take care of you.

I took my son in to have a hack job fixed from a different barber shop the day before. Everyone was super friendly when we walked in and they were able to see him right away. Roger saved the day and my kids hair looked awesome. My son says he’s found his new spot and even his friends want to go there now.

Rick knows how to give a fresh, clean cut. This place is perfect if you live in mission valley or the college area.
you can definitely have faith in rick to give you a good haircut and the other barrbers at the shop seem pretty able as well.

I’ve been going here for a year now and it’s the best barbershop I’ve been to, period. I always go to Kirk and he’s the best. I call ahead and ask him when a good time to come in will be because he’s so good he gets backed up on clients. He’s worth waiting for, honestly. I’ve never had a barber handle my hair with as much care and detail. He doesn’t rush and leave you with a spot here or there you find that’s out of whack once you get home and really inspect it. He is meticulous and goes over your head about one million times fine-​tuning every last hair on your head.
From what I’ve seen while I’m in my chair, the other guys really do a great job as well and don’t rush anything. Most other shops I’ve been in I feel like a sad housewife with a minute-​man husband… just when you think they are getting down to business you realize they are done and you are left to look at yourself in the mirror in your bathroom and stare disappointment in the face, realizing what could have been, what should have been had he just put your needs before his. That won’t happen at Superior Cuts in Del Cerro!

I’ve been going to other Superior Cuts locations –right next to Chula Vista Mall and/​or off Brandywine– since High School. This Del Cerro location is brand new but I prefer going here now. Ricky has been my barber back down at the Brandywine location for a few years now. He’s always done an excellent job, and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since.

I get simple cuts but some barbers can mess up the simplest of jobs. But I’ve never gone wrong choosing Ricky at Superior Cuts.
Superior Cuts also does children too, so bring your kids. I’ve seen kids walk out with just as fresh cuts!
The price is decent and affordable. So I gave it $$. If you’re going to spend a few bucks, spend it on a quality barber. It’s clean inside, it’s welcoming, and it’s not located in a sketchy area. If you’re a skeptic, just give it a chance. Choose the right barber and you’ll be satisfied.

Best place in San Diego. Every since I came here back in my freshman year of high school I haven’t changed shops yet. I’d prefer everybody come here.

First time walking into this place and I was greeted by Kirk. He was not only friendly, but also professional and knew how to handle my curly hair. I highly recommend this place; it’s a great place of comfort and more importantly great people altogether. I’ll be coming back every 3 – 4 weeks!

Professional barbershop that can give you any cut you need! All the barbers are skilled and the prices are fair! I recommend this place for anyone in the college area that wants a simple fade all the way to a design. They have TV’s and have movies and sports playing all the time. Rick the owner listens to what you need and is very skilled with either the clippers or straight razor. If you want a A+ haircut this is the place to go!

Went for my first time today. Very cool place. Not-​too-​busy. Very good prices — — $ 17 for a haircut. Tons of parking. Good attitude of employees and good haircut. This one is a no-​brainer.
One other thing: another post made it sound like there was a rock concert going on and that attitude was everywhere. Uh. .. it was a quiet barbershop. No headbanging music. Maybe on weekend nights this place turns into party central, but, otherwise, it was nice and relaxing. Oh yeah, I also got gel in my hair after it was done (the other poster claimed there was no gel here). The owner is a normal, down-​to-​earth guy.
