A/C hasn’t worked for months. It’s gonna work«next week» so they say. It will probably start working just in time for winter. Taps have been horrendous for the past week literally everything is so foamy the bartenders are working twice as hard for beer that comes out pretty much flat. The people Jay, Dave, Mumbles, Julia, DJ, Denise, Megan are literally the only reason I come back. Although they will probably have to have a meeting over beer waste soon which is clearly a tap problem, I know I used to work in the industry years ago. And how hard can it be to update tap hunter??? Come on guys get it together… This isn’t a management issue it’s an ownership issue. Okay the new chef rocks!!! Chipotle ketchup back new specials. I’m a traditional salsa guy but my my wife loves the new corn mix salsa.

I don’t give five star’s easy but this is my go to spot for great wine and even better food! Don’t get it twisted I love this spot sooo much I come here at least two to three times a month. It has never disappointed. The chefs here are always on point with the food. Have to try item’s are: «the Tot Bombs»(all I need to say is bacon wrapped Tatar Tots with jalapeño smothered in cheese goodness. mmm) and the other is the«Grilled Cesar Salad» off the hook! For you winos try their flights! Beer lovers you can’t go wrong here! DELICIOUS. .thank you for your great food and keep up the good work!

Although the décor looks like they simply cleared out the middle of a liquor store and put in tables, that is part of the charm. Really delicious food for reasonable prices. The only complaint is that they don’t have a lot of room for seating, so it is often super crowded. A great little«hidden gem».

KNB is my go to happy hour when I’m looking for some good beer. Its located in the same area as Windmill farms and Ritas. During happy hour parking can get scarce but for the most part I have been able to find parking. Service: I’ve always come to meet up with friends so I’ve never had an encounter with the hostess but the servers are always super friendly. I have a hard time deciding sometimes and they are always willing to give me samples. If you look at their menu they have such a good variety of quality beer for $ 3!!! It’s such a good deal you have to come check it out!

I love this place. I enjoy the ever-changing tap menu, the beer selection in the fridge, and even the menu is great. You don’t expect that from a liquor store. The food is very tasty. You can catch a game or catch a meal before the game. Either way, come on by.

Great selection of beer, wine and liquor. Awesome craft cocktails. Our food was OK. Good enough to eat but not mind blowing. My husband enjoyed the spicy queso with the fries and his bbq chicken flatbread. I had the bbq burger, which was good but seemed like patty might have been frozen. We enjoyed our meal and that I could get a salad instead of fries was a bonus.

The fish tacos Fri nite were delicious and so was the service. Although it was obvious that the staff was extremely busy, our cute little waitress Denise did her best to be very helpful in choosing beer and wine and making sure we got our order out promptly. We felt bad because the tables around us seemed to be completely unaware of how slammed the place was but she managed to help us with a smile on her face and the kitchen was on point and the food was amazing. Even the bartender took time to come out and ask if we liked our drinks. DEFINITELY coming back and bringing our friends!

Good selection of wines and half price on Monday nights. Service was lazy and salsa was boring.

After all the good reviews I was excited to try it. Sadly, it was bad from the start. I arrived at 7:40p. First piece of advice … DONOT order chips and salsa. SECOND… DONOT sit in «Toni’s» section unless you want to be ignored. She was not friendly, to say the least. My experience: I chose a table because it «seat yourself» … 10mins later the bartender walked out and I could hear him asking a server who had my table. She seemed completely confused… and after him asking her a few times he grabbed a few menus and brought them over and said«I’m sorry, I’m not sure who your server is but we will be right with you» KUDOS to the bartender… He was the only one who cared. Another 10 mins passed and still no server had come by… Finally, at minute 15 a girl walked up and said … «Do you have a server? Oh shoot I will at least get your drinks started…» And took our drink order. After we got them… Another 10 mins before she came back, so we then ordered chips and salsa… HORRIBLE. The salsa had absolutely no flavor and the chips were stale. We waited about 10 more minutes for her to come back to ask for salt and pepper. After that… We never saw her again. We had to ask the buss girl for a glass of water and once she FINALLY walked by we asked for the bill. MYWINEGLASSHADBEENEMPTYASSHEWALKEDBYATLEAST7 times! She then went to the register and had a longgggg«girl chat» full of laughing and being loud and rude with another server while we continued to wait. I almost never write a review this long… But this has to be some of the worst service I’ve ever received… Other than the male bartender with a hat on and the brunette buser who was helpful. Step your game up KNB, service first!

KnB is a really fun and non traditional place to have a drink & some food with friends. The food is pretty good, service can be slow but we don’t come here looking to dine and leave in a flash. I just have a couple of things I hope management can consider thinking about– Something I still can’t quite understand is why the beer list is so unorganized. I have been coming here for years, and the list is all over the place. It’s disappointing, because they do offer a lot of beers(I think they have 36 on tap). It would make so much more sense to organize all of those beers onto a list by category/style or something. It’s hard to find a beer I like searching through that whole random list, and half the time the beer I want has run out. When I have questions about a beer, even the servers have to look at the list and search up and down trying to find it. I come here mostly for the beer, and the disorganized, inconsistent list has me worried. KnB, please work on the beer list! It’s the highlight of coming here, and should be done right. I also had a strange experience with one of the workers who checked me out last month– I tried getting his attention and thought I was being ignored, until I saw he had headphones in and I guess couldn’t hear me. He rang me up, headphones still in. Hopefully that was a one time occurrence because that is awful customer service! Overall, this place is super awesome. I see a lot of potential and hope it keeps getting better!

This place is pretty awesome. Such a quaint and chill vibe. Came here from La Jolla the other day just to check it out with my boyfriend and I ended up getting a Stone IPA(12.25.15) and their chips and guacamole. They have a great selection of wine and beers! Definitely coming back here again!

Beer! Beer! Beer! This place has a HUGE selection of beer, and keys not forget the separate room filled with delicious wine as well! Happy hour goes until 6pm and this place gets crowded! Great family fun crowd as well as young college kids. I tried the street tacos they were okay, but the tots were kicking. The burger looked fantastic that was being devoured next to us. Wine flights are around $ 15 for 3 very generous pours(basically like getting 3 glasses of wine). Staff super friendly! Plus u are surrounded 360 degrees with any alcohol you desire. Walk up the the fridge and but till your heart is content. Don’t know what to get the«drinker» in your family, believe me you will find them something here that they have never tried before. I will for sure be back with my beer loving IPA drinking boyfriend! Plus if u need to do a little grocery shopping windmill farms is right next door.

This place has a great selection of beverages, on-tap and sold by the bottle! They have daily specials and a Sunday champagne brunch. Plenty of tea to watch all the games. I have enjoyed multiple occasions here and 100% would recommend to everyone.

As a long-time customer I am hoping that the last two visits are just a slump KnB is going through. I am a local and we are hard-pressed to find a good, non-chain restaurant to go to, so we have loved KnB for a long time. However, last night might have been our last visit. I ordered a Caesar salad and it was literally lettuce with dressing(I am guessing Ranch) on top, not mixed in, no cheese, nothing, just lettuce and dressing. The most disturbing part of our meal was our child’s meal. He ordered the chicken strips and literally received chicken nuggets in the shape of dinosaurs. Hello?! These are from a frozen bag from the grocery store. So gross and a little insulting. Then we find out they discontinued their spicy sauces for tutor tots. What?! I will say the service was very friendly and efficient, but that might not be enough to save our patronage.

Outstanding selection of craft beers and delicious wines. Rares and rarities of liqour-if you’re looking for it, it’s probably here! They also have a unique selection of chocolate assortments-popcorn, bacon, honeycomb. The restaurant is worth trying. I love the yogi! Yummy olive bread with brie and apples, but I sure do miss the Dezi! Bring it back! My boyfriend and I would frequent the restaurant more often if this Cuban sandwich was brought back! The deviled eggs and hummus are definitely worth a shout out!

I’ve been here for lunch a few times over the years, most recently maybe a month ago. I’ve never eaten indoors but I don’t think I’d like it nearly as much as sitting out on the patio. Just need to go on a nice weather day. The food has been good, so has the service. I wouldn’t say I’ve been wowed, but no complaints. Haven’t done much shopping here(seems I’m always on my way to or from somewhere else) but the beer & wine selection(for purchase) is amazing. My only complaint(not KnB’s fault) is that while I’m outside eating, often have to deal with cigarette smoke coming into the patio. Not sure if it’s just people who happen to be hanging out nearby, or bar patrons taking a break. I’m overly sensitive, though, and most people probably wouldn’t care.

I went to drop off a friend who is from out of state, we accidentally saw this little bar and Grill in the middle of nowhere… The place was full of people and surprisingly very busy. At first I was very hesitant to order food knowing it was a small bar in the middle of nowhere. It did take the waitress little long to bring our drinks as well as the food. After all when the food came it was delicious I can say, my friend and I were surprised. I ordered a mahi mahi fish plate, it came with some rice and veggies but the fish was good grade A Quality fish. My friend had Beef sandwich which came with sweet potatoes chips and they were bomb! The price was reasonable, The place was a little hot for me, they could do something about that… Even though we sat outside in the patio area the place was warm and had no fans, make no mistake it was the hottest day of the month. A lot can be improved and done with this place, they can be a number one food place in that area by doing some fine tuning. I would definitely be back here to grab some drinks and food, I definitely recommend the place.

Wow! Really cool spot! I had heard about this spot for a while, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! There are really excellent menu options, like jalepeno deviled eggs, or mahi with rosemary veggies, and of course great drink options! A ton of beers to choose from that change all the time and a ton of wines! Hands down the fanciest liquor store I’ve ever been to! haha! The service was also very attentive! we’ll be back when we’re in the are for sure!

Considering KNB is hidden away in a small strip mall this place is pretty cool. Ive seen them evolve from a liquor store with an impressive selection of liquor, beer and wine to a legit restaurant. Or bar? Or liquor store? Still not sure how to classify it but what I do know is they have a ton alcohol selection. They also have a nice patio with TVs, plenty of seating inside with a great view of all the alcohol, a small bar and a nice room in the back that you can reserve for private events. The food here is good… I would give the food a 3.5. Off the top of my head I would recommend the Yogi sandwich which has melted Brie, green apples, honey, arugula and kalamatta olive bread. It’s yummy! Fish tacos are also one of my favorites too but don’t order them if they are busy they might be on the colder side by the time they get to you. My other go to sandwich is the Firebird which is a turkey sandwich with roasted red peppers, jalapeños, onions, chipotle aoli, melted provolone cheese and served on a toasted french roll. Careful… this sammy is good for those that like some heat. Cheese plate is a must too. On top of all that they have 24+ rotating taps that’s a plus for any beer drinker. Great neighborhood spot, bring the family including your four legged children to enjoy good food and drinks.

I don’t know how many times I’ve walked past this place while shopping at Windmill Farms and never bothered to step inside. That finally came to an end when 3 Punks Ales decided to have their DIPA release party here. Surprisingly, this place has great character for a liquor store, bar and restaurant combo. Everything is laid out pretty well with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a long wooden bar with several stools, plenty of craft beers on tap and bottled liquor lining the wall. The kitchen works diligently to bring out food orders promptly and the bartenders are friendly and helpful. When I showed up at the bar on a Friday afternoon for the release, it was pretty packed but service was still on point and I had a beer in hand within a couple minutes despite the large crowd. Right away I started engaging in conversation with the other patrons so overall it felt like a good crowd. In addition to the restaurant/bar, they have several fridges with tons of bottles of various craft beers to cater the the«beer snob», it’s a pretty solid selection. How did I miss this place? I don’t know, but I’m not about to let that happen again. This is probably one of the best kept secrets(from me at least) in the Del Cerro area for some quality beers, liquor and bites. I’m sure that I’ll be back here again, especially given it’s convenient location next to Windmill Farms which allows me to kill two birds with one stone. Get it? Got it? Good.

THERE’S SOMUCHALCOHOL. That was my first thought when walking into KNB wine cellars. And no it’s not just wine. It’s everything. Every kind of vodka you can think of, every kind of gin, every kind of tequila… you get the picture. They put Bevmo to shame. Bottles line an entire wall with a nifty little sliding ladder that can help you grab that one bottle you need near the ceiling. There’s also a bar and restaurant here. A few big screen TV’s line the walls and patio, while a bar serving over 20 different taps of craft beer sits center stage. BFD for San Diego right? Wrong. These taps carry some interesting and rare beers, many of which you can’t find much outside of the actual breweries. I had a hard time deciding on what to get the list was that good! Major props to them for having special featured nights highlighting local breweries. Also on Wednesdays every pint is $ 3! The food menu is decent with a range of appetizers and entrees. I ordered the Bavarian pretzel and while it looked good, unfortunately it tasted pretty bland. My friend ordered the hummus appetizer and it was flavorful, served with a side of pita and cucumbers. We were here for the final match of the World Cup and while there were a decent amount of people here it wasn’t overly crowded. It was a nice change from being packed in like sardines at the bars in North Park. While it’s out of the way for me, I’ll definitely think about coming here again to watch sports or attend one of their pint nights.
