Great place to have breakfast. Good service, friendly atmosphere and delicious food. I had eggs with bacon, sausage and two pancakes. Highly recommended.

Great tacos on the cheap. Come in at sunset to watch the sea lions beg the fisherman for some of that day’s take. Small, but lots of outside seating. Breakfast isn’t anything special, but it’s certainly edible for the price.

Stopped off here on a bike ride for lunch. Teriyaki Mahi Mahi Burger is amazing, french fries are yummy too! My teenagers got Cheddar Paradise Burgers. Right at the boat doc, great view of the harbor. Indoor & outdoor seating. Great lunch spot, nice customer service :) o definitely recommend this spot!

We went in continuing search of NoCounty’s best happy hour fish tacos. Taste-wise, okay. But nothing to fly home about. Get it? Fly? Airport? Hah! Anyhoo … the only fish tacos on happy hour special are breaded, deep fried mystery fish for $ 5 a pair. We asked, and for $ 2 we were allowed to upgrade to grilled fish. But those weren’t much better.(We shared an order of each.) As for drinks, the only bargain beers are Buttwiper or Curs drafts. I think they were $ 2. But you’d have to pay ME $ 2 to drink that industro-fermented skunk urine. We had Firestone IPAs for $ 5.50 each, and were glad for it. Ambiance-wise this is a notch above most airport food joints — except PDX, which is the best of all American airports for every-thing. There was some kind of amateur band that had set up in the patio, and it was fun for a few minutes watching the old people«dance.» One red-faced old dude actually danced a lot like Baloo the Bear in Disney’s «Jungle Book.» Except this dude never scratched his back on a tree. Great service from Jacqueline though. Very nice. Word of warning, though. Unless you’re flying into CLD in your G650, the parking situation sucks. And you’ll get ticketed(or towed) if yer not really careful.

Fantastic food. Had a seared ahi teriyaki burger with greens. Nice sized portions. Good view of the harbor. And it’s San Diego, so you can’t go wrong there.

This place is a gem. Many days after I go surfing or surf-fishing I will stop by here on my way home. I just love sitting out by the water for breakfast. I am simply dumbfounded that there is not always a line to eat here. They have great salsa and just a classic breakfast menu. My two sons love to eat here as well and it is definitely a family favorite. You can order, then visit the fishing tackle store, walk along the harbor, etc… What a great spot!

I stopped buy to grab some tasty seafood lunch to bring back to my hotel and was pretty disappointed. The lobster taco sooo mediocre, especially for the price. I also had a fish taco which was ok but nothing special. I had the clam chowder as well and it was just so-so. I don’t think I’d go back here. The woman behind the counter was very friendly.

The Landing Grille is known as «the best-kept breakfast secret in town.» That it is, because it might not be that easy to find if you are unfamiliar with the area. They are located next to the tackle shop at Seaforth Sportfishing. Great place to grab a bite either before or after a fishing trip. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I love to walk my dog along the waterfront, so it’s really nice to be able to sit outdoors with my dog at my side. Last time I was there, they even brought him a bowl of water and a dog biscuit! The food is great and consistent, because the cooks have been there forever. Try the carne asada and eggs for breakfast. They have breakfast and lunch, but they’re only open until 3 p.m. in the winter. They stay open until 10 or 11 p.m. in the summer, though. The Grille Jackpot is the best burger ever!

It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten here. The old building is gone and Seaforth is all new. Except for chorizo, there’s nothing like a good machaca to cure a hangover. It’s pricey at ten bucks, but it’s big enough to make two fat burritos. Great out of the way place with a bay front view.
