I have tried to come to this store on multiple occasions, but no one is ever there. However the open sign is going and it is during their posted hours. I guess the posted hours are merely a suggestion. There appears to be no respect for the customer’s time and gas.

For the last two months, I dread going into this store to face the same lost, uninformative, clueless and nonchalant cashier. I came to this store on multiple occasions just to have this same cashier answer me, «ummm that’s a really good question… I don’t know» I come here to get the same Santa Barbara massage cream and this annoying, idiotic, absurd character always seems like he’s in a daze. I just don’t understand why a particular item that I have requested 3 weeks ago would still be out of stock, and it so happens that he attempts to go do «a stock check» in the back room when he never even left the room in the first place… he was there appearing so helpless bouncing a large ball up and down the room as if answers would magically appear out of his ass… not having a care in the world. Then to top it all off, he suggested that I have some tea. Hands down, their service sucks. I always leave unfulfilled and dissatisfied. I ended up ordering the supply I needed online. Tax and shipping was quite expensive but it saves me the annoyance I have to deal with going into that store.

This is a great little shop! Many great massage instruments, awesome aromatherapy selection, nice book selection and many oils, etc. The staff member I met, Danny, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very clean, relaxed atmosphere. They also have a really nice rewards program– in addition to their generally fantastic prices. I’m very impressed and I will be returning!

Look, I’m not a healer. I don’t even play one on TV. Hell, I don’t even think there is a TV show about massage therapists. Hmmmmm… maybe there should be… Here’s my pitch to the networks. Corporate TV Big Wig: So what’s your show about? Anthony: Okay, get this… the show is a sitcom about a Hare Krishna with a pet orangutan named Fred who enrolls at a massage school and shares a house with three other students including an ex-lumberjack that likes to be naked, a socialite with chronic flatulence and an armless dwarf with a foot fetish. They all become fast friends and the show is about their daily tomfoolery in massage school– with an orangutan. Corporate TV Big Wig: Ummmm… I’m having some trouble with this one… tell me what it’s a cross between. Anthony: Well, it’s like The Office meets Grizzly Adams meets Friends with a Breakfast Club twist and a little Every Which Way But Loose thrown in for good measure. But edgier… with primates… and awesome New Age-y music. Corporate TV Big Wig: You can’t just mix up those concepts like that, people won’t understand. Anthony: Look, I like to think I have my finger on the pulse of pop culture, people are ready for a show like this. Corporate TV Big Wig: Um yeah… we’re gonna pass on this one. Anthony: What if I made it a drama? No? A Lifetime movie? How about an after-school special? Fine, it’s painfully obvious that you don’t know the first thing about good television… Corporate TV Big Wig: Thank you for your time, sir…*SECURITY!* I guess I’ll just stick to shopping at Tools 4 Healers for massage and aromatherapy oils, which they have a vast selection. You can also pick up your New Age-y massage music here– as long as Yanni, Enya and the Mating Sounds of the Humpback Whale are your thing… T4H is mostly for massage therapists and acupuncturists, but the typical everyday person will find something of interest here. Oh and if you’re nice, they’ll hook you up with free hot tea while you shop.

I love this place. Leah is great. She knows about everything in the store and is very helpful. The environment is laid back and inviting and they carry lots of organic oils and lotion which I like too. I only shop here for my needs. I don’t know who peed in r.e.t.‘s cheerios, but this place is the coolest so don’t pay attention to him.

This is a great place in University Heights to find all of your massage tools and needs. Great oil prices, great selection of lotions and some variety of bolts etc. Standard massage music is also available, but it’s a bit steep. Decent people working here, part of the massage school next door. They have some«Ayurvedic» oils, kind of steep but other oils are better priced. The Ayurvedic oils are very nice, but at $ 12 a bottle, you could make your own. Some other oils, new aged based that smell really good. Not sure of the hours, but they seem consistent AND you can have some free tea when you go in.
