I walked in and there was a few people eating there which is a good sign = people like the food. I was greeted quickly and the order taker answered all my questions as it was my first time. I ordered the CA Wrap– fresh turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, avo and cheese on a wrap of your choice. I got the spinach wrap because the order taker said it would be the softest. Turkey — Boars Head– really good and tasted fresh. The cost was $ 7.75 for a decent size wrap that came w a side of potato salad. From walking in to having my wrap i would say it was 6 minutes if that. and that included me being indecisive and starring at the menu. This place was quick and efficient. I would go back

Some days I just want to take a really long walk and hide from people at the office(no offense, y’all.) On those days I grab a $ 20 and head to Uptown Delight. It’s a bit further down the road for me than Creative Deli, but their use of Boar’s Head meat and mini pasta salad make it totally worth the extra steps. Plus, extra steps help with my weekly mileage goals, so I can’t complain too much. I’ve had several sandwiches and really enjoyed them all. I think that’s partially because of my sandwich obsession and partially because they’re just really good. I only wish they were open earlier so I could try out one of the delicious breakfast burritos everyone raves about.

Uptown DELIght(get it?) is an pretty sweet spot. It does great in serving the business district that its in, and the best part is the staff. They’re uplifting and have an awesome attitude, it’s hard to walk out without a smile. Breakfast burrito is awesome! Great mix of the breakfast ingredients and the salsa there compliments it well!

Breakfast burritos are delicious and super filling BUT have significantly decreased in size(to almost half) since I started getting them almost two years ago. Prices have stayed the same though :(

Excellent! Sandwiches are well made and tasty(my favorite is the pub roast beef with horseradish — yum) and come with a pickle AND a side. Their specials are good too, especially the spicy Korean BBQ beef with awesome kimchi. Staff are really friendly. Super-convenient for grabbing a quick lunch.

Above average bacon breakfast burrito, made by a super friendly Korean lady who only knows me as «bacon burrito.» When I first started working in this area, I ate here almost every day, getting the bacon burrito, or the bacon croissant. Both great choices. Everything is cooked up and sealed with a Boars Head sticker, burrito almost resembles a medieval parchment with a wax seal. It costs about 5 dollars, but I can’t complain, the place is literally steps from my job. So I take this parchment back to my shared office and just eat it, what else do you way from a breakfast? Fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon with soft centers and crispy edges, hash browns that vary from crispy and soft, but never mushy, all with melted cheese. The smell quickly spreads throughout other offices, some, their will is strong, and they continue to eat their boring oatmeal. Others cave in, and quickly get up to walk over and get their own. I don’t eat here everyday anymore, but it takes the edge off of Mondays, and makes Fridays even better. Can’t ask for anything else really.

This Deli is very convinient for me as it’s located in the same complex as my work. I usually come here when I forgot to bring my lunch box or when I crave for their Breakfast Burrito. I have to say that their sandwich is probably not the cheapest around the area, but their quality of meats is very good as they only use Boar Heads for everything, including their sausage. My favourite order here is breakfast burrito; it’s very filling and they use real eggs! I You can also choose different type of wraps: regular, spinach or tomato basil one. You can also have either sausage, ham or bacon. If you happen to be vegetarian, they usually are very good at giving you all types of fresh vegetable they have on that day. They also have their daily specials every day: soup, entrée or sandwich special. It’s a really good buy because the sandwich comes with drinks and chips for about $ 8. The entrée specials is usually an Asian type of dish and it comes in a pretty generous portion. Plus drink, it only costs about $ 6.50. There are usually only 2 friendly ladies working there at a time so when it gets busy, you just have to wait longer for your order to be ready. This place does get busy around breakfast and lunch time. Another tip to avoid the long wait is just to call ahead of time and just do pick up 10 – 15 mins after. They are usually very good about having yours orders when you pick up. This deli also do MOGL, so what not to like, you can get 10% back everytime! Check it out !

ordered a breakfast sandwich and asked for ketchup as it was not out with all the other free condiments on display. Lady said it would me 75 cents more if I want ketchup. Are you joking? Ketchup is a standard condiment for breakfast and I could not believe what I was hearing. No more business from me.

This is a small hole in the wall within the industrial park and has a pretty good following among the locals. If you don’t work in the area, there is a pretty good chance that you’ll miss it as it’s tucked away on a side street. One word to the wise. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you. I ordered the Californian, which was #2 on their menu board, which I’m guessing means it’s the 2nd most popular item. It took 20 minutes from the time that I ordered to get my sandwich. Luckily, I was about 2 minutes away from work or I would have never made it back in time. The place is pretty small, which is not a problem as there are plenty of tables(with a few outside) to accomodate the modest crowd that was present while I was there. Here’s another hint. If you want to see the menu, you have to step out of line and walk around to the left of the cash register. What this means is that while you’re doing this, you all of a sudden went from 2nd to 6th in line if you are there with the lunch crowd as I was. A better choice would be to stay in line and figure it out as you get up there, but be advised the menu is not easy to see. As for the food, it was very good. The lettuce, tomato, avocado, etc were all very fresh and the portion was generous. I could hardly fit it in my mouth. If you aren’t a big eater, you could probably get away with eating half the sandwich and taking the other half back to the office for a mid-afternoon snack. Although, now that I’m thinking about this, if you’re not a big eater you probably aren’t the type to look for the mid-afternoon snack so scratch that. As for prices, they are on par with this type of food. I believe the sandwich with pickle spear was $ 7.50 or thereabouts and the fountain drink was $ 1.45ish. So add the tax on and it’s about $ 10, which I find to be a little pricey for a lunch sandwich. All in all, this place is worth checking out, just make sure to get there before the lunch crowd or give yourself some extra time.

Boars head meats are always a good draw and they make a pretty quality sandwich. Little on the pricey side but still within range at about $ 8 – 9 for chip/drink combo. Homemade potato salads and brownies/cookies(always tempting you, then promptly selling you with their sweet sweet goodness) and all the usual drinks/chips. Everyone is always very personable behind the counter and its just a chill little work lunch spot. They are open til 4pm expect Fridays which helps cause somehow I’m always like a starving hyena at bout 3:30. Good spot

One of a few delis in this industrial area, and a pleasant change from driving out to Miramar Rd or Mira Mesa Blvd if you happen to work close. They take call-in orders and they are really good about having your order ready when you get there. We’ve ordered for a dozen or more people at a time and they get the orders right. Very friendly people. Parking for about 6 cars. Two small outdoor tables. A half dozen indoor tables. Prices might be a bit high, but they use quality ingredients. Boar’s Head meats. Good breads. They do some daily soups and several salads as well. Try the chili if they have it, good stuff. Good selection of salty snacks. Miss Vickie’s chips, but the usual assortments of Frito-Lay products. Lots of bottled drinks to choose from, and a small selection of fountain Pepsi products. It’s definitely not trying to be fancy. But for a deli on a road with 50 industrial parks, it’s hits the mark dead on.

i think i wrote my review under the wrong company name and wrote it for Uptown Delite… so here it is copied over! haha This is a small local deli that uses Boar’s head meats so its supposed to be pretty quality. Their sandwiches are nice and big and reasonably priced. I like that they have a different daily entrée everyday. A lot of times its general things like pasta or grilled chicken, but they also do a lot of korean dishes. You get a drink and entrée in a full to go box for $ 6. comes with a salad, and the main dish. its really healthy and cheap. They also have nice breakfast burritos starting at 6AM for $ 4! if you’re ever looking for a new lunch spot, try this one out. its a friendly, casual deli with good food and service with smile.
