Just received our order, burger was still raw! We didn’t notice until we got home. Didn’t get to eat it.
Chicken nuggets– Wendy’s forgot the sauce

Never go inside to eat! They are super slow! I was the only there and still had to wait 20 mins for my food. I thought this was FAST food…
Their drive thru however is super quick. They usually have my order ready once I pull up to the windrow. Why can’t inside be like that?

Since this location is conveniently close to work I probably frequent them more often than I should. However, even during the busy lunch hour rush they are never over crowded or uncomfortably busy. In all of the times I’ve eaten here I have only had to wait for what felt like a excessively long time going through the drive thru once. Typically I will did a parking spot and simply walk in. Service is always fast and spot on when you walk in.
Wendy’s restaurants in general typically have the same friendly customer centric vibe and this location is no exception. They have the typical Wendy’s setup with available seating outside and refills are at the counter. I’ve never seen a mess that wasn’t promptly picked up and never been greeted without a smile.

Awwww man, why must they announce my food order on that scratchy little intercom thing for the people behind me to hear?
This is what it’s like:
Me: «Hi, I’d like a Value Chicken Nugget, and…
THEM: «crackle crackle VALUE CHICKEN NUGGET! crackle»
Me: «…and um, a small fry…
Them: «crackle…SMALL FRY…»
Me: «And um… public embarrassment?»
Them: «PMS COMBO MEAL STAT!..»
Me: (bleakly) «Um.perfect…thanks.»

I think they have the best 99 cent chicken sandwich you will ever find at any drive thru. It’s a new one called the spicy chipotle crispy chicken sandwich. A friend bought me one while I was working on lowering his car. After I ate one, I made him go back to get me another one or I wouldn’t finish lowering his car. He didn’t just get me one, he got me two and I devoured them both under 2 minutes. The fries here have sea salt and taste good as hell. Wendy’s is making a come back I’m telling you.

These guys are fast! Even when there’s 8 cars in the drive thru during a busy lunch time I’ll be on my way within 5 – 6 minutes. The food comes out fresh and hot like you’d expect at any other place, and being the only drive thru this within a half mile radius or so this is a worth while place.

The employees were friendly and the food was ok. What irritates me is that they put the soda dispenser behind the counter so if you want a refill, you have to go to the counter and ask for it. Normally, that’s not an issue but when they are busy, it is. Get with the program Wendy’s. All the other fast food places are self service on the drinks.

Picked up some food to go for my Husband. I ordered the ultimate grilled chicken sandwich combo and a side order of nuggets for my daughter. By the sounds of it, the sandwich was really good. The wait was not long at all. I love Wendy’s!

this is a decent wendys. I prefer the wendy’s in eastlake tho. i’ve had my fries cold from here a few times. i usually get their chili and salad or the grilled chicken sandwich or the spicy chicken sandwich. cant beat value menu.

I don’t normally write reviews on fast food joints because, really, what is the point? But because I had such a terrible experience, I feel the need to vent.
The place was a mess. There were dirty tables everywhere. The one semi clean table I found had dried soda spills all over the chairs. We got our food and some items were missing cheese. Others had bits of shredded cheese where there should have been a whole slice of cheese. There was no ranch dressing on the Chicken Ranch sandwich. The caesar dressing was extremely bitter. There was no bacon on the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. On a positive note, the fries were really hot and tasty. The people working there were very slow but nice.
I like Wendy’s but I won’t be back to this location.

I hit this place for lunch sometimes as its super close to my office. A chicken sandwich and baked potato may not be guilt free but I feel a little better than if I had ordered fries. I loved their past promotion where you bought the keyring and got a free child’s frostee for the rest of the year, I hope they do that again!
I always hit the drive-​thru so I can’t say anything about what its like inside, but they are always fast, efficient, and friendly and my order has never been wrong.

This wendys has been here for as long as i can remember coming to san diego and it shows from the outside which isnt a bad thing.
The only have one register and is slow. The fries where some of the worst ive had at a wendys. I also ordered a cookie dough frosty and it was fine. I love wendys and is my favorite fast food burger.

Dude at the Wendy’s drive up window should never ever question your ethnicity!
«So who is the Puerto Rican?» and I say, «Me» and he said where from and I say with bembe’s sticking out ready for a fight, «Brooklyn!» and he says, «Oh, a NUYORICAN» and real slow like I am suddenly hearing, mental, or otherwise impaired… again WTF??? So then he admits he is not even from there, or connected in any way except to say that he was MARRIED TO ONE OF US… But the lament in his face tells me He misses her nonetheless and he was going down memory lane even as he stood there handing me my burger and fries. So I went easy on the man that lost his Rican princess from Manhattan and simply said… Hmmmm… as in Hmmmm too bad so sad… Estupido!!!
Though this location is close and convenient… never ever… until of course my boyfriend is in town and we will drive up just for entertainment.

This Wendy’s is always on point at one of the busiest lunch-​rush spots in San Diego.
I drive thru, hardly ever a line as they move cars through so quickly. My orders are always correct (once it was wrong, but in my favor with a super sized meal instead of a small that I was not charged for) and its kind of weird but my food is always ready as SOON as I get to the window. Normally I would think thats gross because it had probably been sitting waiting and prepared that morning, but no, it always tastes fresh and is piping hot, fries crispy not soggy. And unlike the El Cajon Wedny’s, this location’s grease vats are probably changed regularly because their fries don’t taste like pure burnt reused oil.
AND they give me as much freakin sauce as I want without asking me to pay 11 cents for it or trying to challenge me to a wrestling match in the drive-​thru (hint hint at my Mc Donalds review…)!

What in the hell is wrong with Wendys nowadays?

This was Wendys lame visit number two.
This one gets two stars because while I actually did leave with food, it was cold.
HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE A BAKED POTATO WITH BACON BITS HOT?
I know Im a little picky about my food temperatures but for heavens sake. It is ten fifteen in the evening and no one is inside or in the drive thru, you should be completely capable of serving me a hot spud.
After plunging my finger deep into its core and finding out not only are the bacon bits cold and you couldnt sucker the cheese into melting but the middle is barely warm.
The wonderful boyfriend reverses back to the window and requests that my potato be re-​heated. Juan Carlos Espinosa looks at me and informs me that my bacon bits are cold. NO WAY.
After a minute or so a piping hot steaming potato comes out with beautifully melted cheese.
Now how hard was that?
