What a great place! The ambiance, food and staff were amazing… No wonder they get such high Unilocal reviews. My party came here for Brunch and got to listen to live music as we ate our food. The guy singing was actually pretty good. Our waitress Nicole was so nice and attentive. She regularly checked on us to see how we were doing. There was another guy that brought our food; his name was J.T. And he was just as nice. As for the food, it was delicious!!! Everyone ordered something different, so we all got to taste what the others ordered. Overall… The food presentation and taste was incredible.

Don’t be fooled by the wall of drinks, they guys getting their morning buzz at the bar. The brunch at this place belongs among the greats. I’m usually disappointed by brunch restaurants, in all honesty ihop and Denny’s usually taste better. This however, wow. The food is rich, but not fatty. The flavored are extraordinarily well balanced. Everything is cooked to perfection. The spices they use on their food add just a hint of exotic to an already great meal. Plus the presentation was top notch. This chef is going places.

We went to Werewolf at night for drinks and were pleasantly surprised. Small place, cool atmosphere, creepy Ronald McDonald clown, but good drinks. My drink came in a beaker which made my nerd senses tingle — winning! Anyways, the server was incredibly nice and we enjoyed our time so much we came back for breakfast the next day. Breakfast: All of the breakfasts seemed rather large so we split the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict because we saw everyone raving about it. The dish came out and it was beautiful, however, I could immediately see a lot of fat. I mean, I did order Pork Belly, but after a long night of drinking that gelatinous texture was just not working for me. The hash brown underneath was tasty but incredibly greasy. The eggs were cooked perfectly. It came with 3 servings and we could only stomach 2 so we requested a to-go container and offered it to one of the many homeless people on the streets. Hey, he looked happy! Also, our server that morning was great. He could tell we were a little hungover so he was very attentive with the water. A+ buddy. I’d give it another chance but would definitely look for a different breakfast option.

This was a true Unilocal magic experience. I learned about this restaurant by reading a Unilocal review from a woman in Stockholm who noted it in her reviews while visiting San Diego a month ago. When I wrote her a note, she explained this was a place not to be missed in San Diego. I went for breakfast, but the ambience and décor suggested that this would also be an exciting late night spot. The morning staff was friendly and engaging, willing to chat as I was one of the first customers. Based on the recommendation of my Swedish friend and numerous favorable reviews by other Unilocalers, I chose the pork belly Benedict pictured. It was delicious. Thick cut bacon, crispy but not dry, on a bed of thick potato pancakes with potato cubes and exquisite seasonings. This was then topped with poached eggs. One touch with the fork and the yolk coated the tiers below, like lava flowing down a mountain. I enjoyed every bite. The portion was large so I had to leave one behind and hopefully a busboy got to enjoy(voice of experience from my far off busboy days). If I weren’t traveling alone this would have been plenty large to share. Accompany this with an aromatic deep black coffee lightened by fresh cream and sweetened with Splenda, I am fueled for the day. I also strongly recommend Werewolf as a San Diego must see.
