Lime Tequila Bar

Giving this place 5 stars for sure. I had no intentions on stopping there last night as we were on our way to another bar but the bartender Brandon managed to lure us in! He was awesome. I had no idea what I wanted so I left it to him and he made me a watermelon basil Margarita and holy hell it was good!!! The bar itself is very cute and cozy. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Visiting San Diego for the weekend with a couple of friends and popped in here for a drink. Had a really good margarita and tried one of the multiple infused tequilas that was offered. The bartender was also very knowledgable about the surrounding area and gave us pointers about attractions in the area.

I came here with a friend and this was my second time here and I got to say I was impressed. We got there around 10 pm and the places was pretty empty. The place picked up quickly but Anna made it worth our time there. She explained all the drinks and recommended some of her favorites everything was amazing. Also it was incredible to see what a tight ship she runs and how she took care of everything. If I am down in San Diego I will definitely come back. Anna made tequila even better. She deserves a raise. Ps: the ginger almond margarita is amazing so is the pomegranate margarita and the tequila mojito.

Good service and strong drinks. They didn’t have the drink I requested that night so I got one on the house which I thought was great customer service. Perect spot to swing by for a few margaritas or shots of good tequila.

Do not go here unless you want to have a «margarita» made entirely of sweet and sour, have 2 irresponsible and drunk bartenders overcharge and then double charge you, threaten to have security escort you out when you reasonably ask them to handle the mistake they made, and then treat you like you have done something wrong. I don’t want my credit card in the hands of people who can’t handle themselves while they are working. The security guy was even wondering why there was a problem when we talked to him. Grow up girls, I was a bartender also when I was younger but I never had a power trip or blamed customers when I was the one who messed up.

Came in to celebrate my cousin’s bday. The servers were nice and even tried to help put some shots together to our liking. We had a few tequila flights and some mixed drinks. I enjoyed their tequila selection and will come back!

My favorite bar in San Diego because they offer my favorite tequila… Casa Noble reposado. Five stars, just for that. This establishment is smaller than most I’ve seen around, but their drinks are amazing, and the staff is very nice. Will always make sure to stop by Lime Tequila Bar whenever I’m in San Diego.

After a night of expensive drinks, we decided to stop by this tequila bar, and have a cocktail. I ordered a Tres Agave Margarita (comes either a free shaker!) because it is the best kind of Margarita (lime, nectar, and tequila) my boyfriend ordered some tastes of tequila (shots). One was a reposado/​anejo blend, and it was delicious. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable, and helped us better understand tequila tastes and scents. It was a blast, and the drinks were great. Didn’t have any food, but the tequila was great!

Small tequila bar but damn they have amazing drinks. Had a few Fire shots, hot pepper infused tequila shots. Yum and very spicy. Also had a few spicy jalapeño margaritas. They were delicious. Could have used a little bit more kick but that’s my choice. Great bar!

Last night my fiancé and I arrived to San Diego for the first time. We decided to do a little bar hopping in the gaslamp district and stumbled upon this cool place. After walking in, Steve immediately greeted us and asked us what we would like. We ordered some margaritas and asked him what a good tequila was to try. He recommended Casamigos the and we decided to try all three: blanco, rapasado, and anejo. He turned them into a flight for us to try, even though it wasn’t listed as an option on the menu. We really loved them! But, what we really appreciated was not only how knowledgable he was with his tequilas but he taught us a great trick to drink them. Orange + cinnamon! Steve, thank you so much for making our night. We had a great time in SD, and because of your amazing customer service we enjoyed our stay in SD even more! Thank you Steve!

I have mixed feelings about this place… the servers seemed nice, however when asked to take our picture we heard a mumble of something like «I do have a job to do, you know». That didn’t set right with us. There were 5 of us ready to try the fun tequilas and other drinks. So we had our shot and left.

If you are getting «infused» tequila be warned it’s well tequila and we are all pretty sure there was nothing infused at all… just crap tequila with something stuck in it. (like a chili or an orange wedge). It tasted like nail polish remover, no hint of anything else. But they were only $ 5.00!
They do offer pizza by the slice, we didn’t eat here but that is always a plus.
I’d be willing to try this place again because the reviews all seem to have a different opinion… I’m reviewing it because I want to remember and go back to be proven wrong.

Cody was a legit bartender for us. Made great suggestions and had a great personality. We will be back. The music was real relaxed as well.

After all kinds of rude service at other places, we get to Lime and it was so different. Everyone was so nice! From the bouncer to our waitress to the bartenders. This is how a business should operate. We ended up staying and spending our $ here for the rest of the night.
The pizza isn’t that great, but their sampler fried platter was good. I’m a fan of Lime and will continue to support their business solely for the high level of service and kindness we received last night.

So my friend and I stopped at this place just because it looked cool and they had outdoor seating where we could smoke. We were quickly greeted by Bryan who let us know he would be back to take our drink order after we had a chance to look at the menu. We ordered Long Island Ice Tea’s, they were delicious. Cassie who was inside was very friendly and would occasionally pop outside to make sure we were still good when Bryan was busy. Their customer service was great enough for me to want to write a review. They even charged my iPhone for me behind the bar. They don’t know it but it enabled me to FaceTime my kids before they went to sleep. I’m in the navy and we were headed back out to see so it was very good of them. My friend and I will definitely be back to enjoy more long islands and conversation on the patio next time were in San Diego. Thank you Bryan and Cassie!

Bryan was completely professional, attentive and personable when we sat at the bar. We ordered the chili, lime and orange tequila shots and they were really good and he always asked if we needed more salt/​lime ect.
My friend wanted something on the sweeter side and he was able to make her a watermelon shot she really enjoyed. Love this place and its my go to prefade spot due to the service and prices. Also, it doesn’t get that packed and its on the street near a lot of clubs.
Pizza was really good too! I got the mushroom!

Lime is a great little tequila bar. I suggest this place particularly for «pre-​gaming» purposes. The bar is usually pretty dead until 9pm or so, so service is always quick at those times.
The tequila/​beer combos are great, especially if you’re out with friends. They usually range from $ 7-​$ 14, but only a couple rounds here will have you sauced up and ready for the night. I haven’t ordered it before, but if you are looking for food, I guess they have housemade pizza by a guy that works there that is supposed to be halfway decent.
If you feel you are a tequila connoisseur, this might not be your favorite place, but they do still offer a ton of options (100+) for such a small bar. All in all, I really like this bar, and it has become a regular stop on my nights out.

Lime tequila is tops one list! Bryan has his list of recommendations and they are spot on! I would recommend this to anyone looking for great tequila and good music!

If you are a tequila drinker, it is imperative that you check this spot out. Their tequila selection is the best in San Diego. Their bartenders are knowledgeable, fun and very helpful. The owner, Maria, is so cool and down-​to-​earth. Located in 5^th between Market and G Street, this is the perfect place to «pre-​game» then accidentally stay all night.
They also have some rockin homemade pizza on Friday and Saturday!
Become a regular. You will not regret it.

This will be a short one. This place is only good to come in real quick after dinner and have a few shots and a margarita before partying later.
Came in after our clusterfuck dinner at the Greystone. I would have never seen this place if it weren’t literally right across the street from the steakhouse. The bartenders are all women. The barback girl was actually more up on it than the actual tenders. So you guys need to give that latina a raise or upgrade her to bartender full time!
A pretty good selection of tequilas and mixed drinks. I kept it simple with a shot of tequila Blanco and a mango margarita. The margaritas ain’t cheap here so don’t think you’re paying El torito happy hour type prices in this B. I… Thank you PIC with putting up with my spendy tastes: D XOXOXO. Back to my drank. Like I said this place hit’s the spot when you need a quick tequila fix without the drama. I didn’t checkout the rest of the place. I just went to the first counter and got my quickie: D I don’t see this place as the type to lounge in, so hit it and quit it each time ;)
I will go here every time I hit the Gaslamp !!!

My wife and I stopped by for a shot after a movie. This place has a nice variety of tequilas. My fav!
Spend the money on some dam good tequila, you won’t be sorry.
