Good Local pizza place — great specials. The pizza was really good and we also tried the garlic cheese bread and it was outstanding!

My roommate and I eat pizza fairly often. It’s always fun to spend a day hanging out in bed and watching Netflix while eating pizza and it’s great; until we decided to try this new place. This new, god awful place. Supreme pizza with half of it pepperoni does NOT mean half a supreme, half just pepperoni(I HATE pepperoni) and to charge for a whole supreme. Usually cheesy garlic bread has at least some garlic… and cheese on all of it, not just a small inner circle of cheese on some flabby half baked bread. This was the first and last time we order from this place.

I can sum up my 1st and last visit in just two words, FOODPOISONING! I had two slices of pizza. It was ok. Nothing special. My wife had buffalo wings. She became violently ill within two hours. High fever, chills and vomiting. We’ll never be back.

I had a meeting at our companies satellite office in Mission Beach last week and I was given the task of ordering food for the entire group. It is hard to find something that everyone likes, so I figured everyone loves pizza, and if you don’t, then screw you. Haha. Our company has a GrubHub account that we use for occasions like this so I went on and looked us pizza delivery in Mission Beach. ZoZo was the first place that popped up. Their menu looked pretty big and had all the regular pizza restaurant items so I decided to put in an order. We got 4 large pizzas, 3 orders of wings, and 3 large salads. Our food arrived extremely fast. I was expecting it to take 45 – 60 minutes and the GrubHub guy was knocking on our door 20 minutes after ordering. It was perfect timing since we were getting into a dicey area of our discussions and I thought we needed a break. The pizza was perfectly cooked. The sauce was amazing. The slices were big, but not too big. I liked the way the wings were cooked. I hate when chicken wings are soggy, like they weren’t cooked all the way. These were nice and crispy. Everyone complemented me on my lunch choice. Thanks for saving our meeting ZoZo!

We ordered cheese, pepperoni, and ham/pineapple. All delicious. Also ordered a calzone. Bomb! Recommended for lunch or just a quick snack.

I brought my family down to Mission Beach last weekend with a bunch of our cousins. There were about 10 kids in the house with 2 adults. We tried to cook as much as we could to save money, but by the last night we we worn out. The kids wanted pizza so I went on GrubHub and found this spot. The prices looked reasonable as I have always been a fan on NY style pizza so we decided to place an order. We got a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza for the kids and a Margherita pizza for us adults. The food came pretty quickly, probably in around 30 minutes or so. Everything was warm still. The kids devoured the pizza and went into a food coma afterwards. They all passed out around the TV. I can thank ZoZo pizza in mission beach for giving us adults some well deserved quite time!

This is a nice local pizza place right off the beach. The pizza is good and the staff was great! The place was packed which is typically a sign of good food and it didn’t disappoint. My kids loved getting a slice of their huge pepperoni pizza. It’s nice because you can order just a few slices or a whole pie. Great place if you want a quick, less expensive meal while visiting the beach.

Pizza is delicious and the price is good! The workers are friendly! The manager is not so friendly though! Don’t judge your experience if you get him taking your order!

One of the city’s hidden gems, this Mission Beach pizza joint needs to get more attention! This tiny shop offers giant New York style pizza slices that are fresh, flavorful, and with absolutely scrumptious toppings. The meats are perfectly cooked and loaded with flavor; the dough, crust, and sauce compliment each other to perfection as well. The people working the counter are friendly and helpful. Besides pizza there are subs and other entrees. They also have some great daily specials. The food is reasonably priced and the restaurant itself is clean and you can usually park fairly easily across the street in the Belmont parking lot.

Friendly service and quality pizza! Zozo’s is a little small and has an ideal location as well as HUMUNGOUS slices of pizza! The slices are wide, but thin. Plus, they have a lot of deals/specials for only $ 7.99. Will be coming here again after a long day at the beach!

This place is very fair on pricing, and the pizza was good but not great. I enjoyed the location being so close to the beach!

I got the pineapple ham pizza, was there more to catch up with a friend. Pizza was OK, place is really small. Bathroom is in their stock area… Good place for pizza on the beach.

Whenever I am in Mission Beach I always make sure I stop by this pizza shop to grab a slice before heading home. There is nothing better after a long day of swimming and playing beach games than a delicious slice of New York style pizza to juice me up for the drive back home. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu here, however my favorite is still the slices. I like how they always have so many different choices for toppings. I am usually in a hurry to beat traffic so I don’t want to wait around. I like how I can walk in, pick a slice, they throw it in the oven for a minute or two and I am ready to rock n roll.

It’s location is convenient to Belmont park and the beach, but it’s only worth it as a last choice. I’m a native New Yorker and this«New York style» is beyond bland. I had to drown my pizza in condiments(garlic and oregano). I love eating slices which is what attracted me here, but it will be my last. Aside from the flavor of their food, the smell here is not pleasant. Walking in it smells like an old dirty mop. IF you decide to eat here, go outside!

I give 3 because the pizza was ok and only three because there were only two thin slices of roast beef on my sub. Skimpy.

Pizza places near the beach are always a little scary in my opinion. Either you are lucky enough to get a fresh slice right out of the oven or a 5 hour slice that has been sitting, baking by the heat of the place. My boyfriend was craving pizza so we just decided to test our luck. Right as we walked into this pizza shack the first thing I noticed was how empty it was. Then I seen that all the pizza displays weren’t. displays. It was that 5 hour pizza I was talking about! The layer of cheese and toppings on each piece looked stiff and fused by the grease that had hardened. Guys will usually eat anything so my boyfriend went ahead and bought two slices for almost $ 7! I decided to give this place a try and eat a reheated slice. Once heated, all the grease then reappeared. The pizza was«okay» but the fact that it probably sat around all day and was reheated is pretty gross. If you are debating about eating here, skip it and go to the busier burger or Mexican food place next-door to get a more fresh meal for your buck.

We’ll…it’s a pizza place. The type of pizza that is extra greasy. We walked in here because it was near the beach. I think the only reason I’m giving it even two stars is because I was starving and the food was at least passable. The atmosphere was depressing to say the least. The place claimed to be New York style pizza, had Italian décor but was playing the Gypsy Kings. To top it off, I reached for the crushed pepper shaker to put on my pizza, but there was a fly INSIDE the pepper shaker.
