Friendly service. Great food. Generous portions. Andy and Vanessa treated us well. We will be back.

Oh so disappointing. Extra stars because our waitress was very friendly and inviting. We went in for lunch and the place was completely empty… on a Friday afternoon… at 1pm. The menu was lacking in information and photos, we ordered what looked best based on the descriptions. One roll was doused in canned American ‘salsa’ and my friend’s salmon bento box was smothered in salty sauce. One bite and we discovered this food was practically inedible.

The best sushi!!! Andy and Cindy we are tested like family not customers. The freshest seafood available and Cindy’s sauces make every creation a masterpiece!!! Got to try it!!!&

Wasn’t super stoked on most rolls ordered. Service was good and beef teriyaki was good.

Love this place they do sushi like I’ve never had I only treat myself once in awhile but I love the live scallops and live shrimp its off the hook

This place was great! Short review because I was only here a little bit.
But my friend and I were trying to find a sushi place at 10:00 pm. It seems that everything closes early! We drove all around and finally found this place. They are open until midnight. The woman who greeted us was so sweet! We ordered the dragon roll and two sapporos. They had a special where if you order one $ 10 your drink is half off. We weren’t that hungry so I figured one drink being half off isn’t bad.
Service was very quick (well we were the only ones in the restaurant) and the food was fantastic! We stayed for around an hour, we got there by 10:30 we were coming from West Covina. Even though we were the only customers they didn’t make us feel like we were a burden. Very friendly even when my friend spilled water all over the table lol.
When we got our check I noticed we didn’t get a discount on a drink. I asked her about it and she said we both have to get a $ 10 meal. I was disappointed but said alright no big deal. She graciously gave me BOTH drinks half off. Score! I left her a nice tip and we left. I will for sure be back soon.

Yummy I love sushi! Place is nice and quite, service is okay. They don’t speak really clear English so that’s a little hard to understand, but that’s okay. Kind of pricey but I would be worried if it wasn’t. I don’t want cheap fish. :)

Good Sushi and is fresh…

First time here and I have to say that we loved it. I read the other Unilocal review before coming in and all the reviews were good. So we took a chance and came in, which I’m glad we did. The place is clean and food is fresh. We will return.

Clean place, plenty of parking, TVs wherever you sit. Food was so yummy — we had shrimp mania roll, salmon collar, baked mussels then Sashimi special is so fresh and really good. Edemame was free. Service was excellent — very attentive, friendly and fast. We will definitely come back!

Delicious sushi. We had the kona island roll and the shrimp mania roll. They were both wonderful! Great sushi chefs and quiet atmosphere :-)

We go here every Friday, sit at the bar and order 2 Spicy Tuna Handrolls, 2 Spicy Scallop Hand Rolls, and 1 911 Roll. It is always made fresh right in front of you. The staff is nice, and very attentive. I never liked Sushi, only had California Rolls, but this place has introduced me to actual sushi and I love the experience. The prices are average for a sushi place, we spend around 35 $ for two people and always enjoy our time there.
Other reviews on this place talk about hair, and bad food. I have been eating here for 7 years, and have never had any foreign object in my food or have had something I did not like. It is a great place, and some of the best sushi I have had.
Go here and try it, I promise you, you will not regret it.
You’ve got to try the Mexican Roll! So freaking good!!!

I would recommend this place to anyone who has never had sushi before and would like to spend a lot of money on mediocre-​average rolls. However, for the more experienced sushi goer such as myself, I found this place to be a total rip off for low grade tasting sashimi and bitter, funky tasting rolls. Go to Sushi Show in San Dimas, spend less money and get all you can eat of way better quality sushi.

I just went there last night a dinner date. The food was delicious except for their (911 roll) They were nice enough to take it off our bill. I loved the Samurai Roll. Good ambiance, friendly service. Btw, on Tuesday and Saturday all day it’s half off alcohol. Toy can’t beat that. I will definitely be coming back here for seconds and thirds. Great job Big Sky Sushi.

I have to say that I am kind of a sushi snob… with that said I was soo happy with the chef picks and my bomb uni sundae creation. Fresh fresh fresh! Did I mention discount alcohol on Saturdays! Serial you got to check it out!
