I do not think it is called Sushi Cruise anymore. I had the All You Can Eat. It is normally $ 22 I believe, but with the relaunch everything is 20% off so it came to about $ 18. In a fatass move, that is about two rolls per person. We ate a lot more than that, so economically it worked out. It was good. The chefs were very nice. They were attentive. A couple of times one of the chefs gave us something that he just made and we did not ask for. That was always very good. The food tasted fresh. The atmosphere is nice. I am not sure if it was because it was a Tuesday night, but there were only about a half dozen people there the entire time we were there. Perhaps it has location problems because it is tucked inside a strip-mall. I will return.

Not the world’s best sushi, but not horrible either. I think their AYCE is about $ 22 or 23, which is on par with everyone else. I honestly don’t know how this place stays in business, because when I come during the week, there’s NOBODY here. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying your AYCE. If I also remember correctly, a lot of their rolls are just modified California rolls. 3 stars because of that.

Nigiri had bits of old rice in it. Had to ask for wasabi and pickled ginger. Service was slow and they didn’t refill my tea or offer water. Prices were ok. And now I’m late for work.

Ok so what the hell man! I’ve been coming to the san dimas location for years now and it always had been good. Went a few day ago and I was about to walk out. First off they changed their all you can eat menu now and got skimpy. Whatever I could deal. Then this young bitch waitress had the nerve while in mid conversation of a table of 4, telling us that we need to finish everything on our table or we will be charged full price. Cutting us off completely. Fuckin RUDE! Then she made us feel rushed with the check. never going back!

This place is very good for being an all you can eat sushi bar. Some of their rolls are too small if you’re ordering them individually and the salmon seems to be sliced a little to thin. This place accepted 4 stars for the volcano roll and the lobster roll, so squeakin freakin good. Their crunchy salmon roll is pretty god dam delicious too. Not to mention they only hire sexy waitresses so let the good times roll with 99 cent sake bombs.

The service was terrible. The food was gross. And the waitress demanded a tip before we left. Terrible. Don’t go here. Go to Kan Pai in Azusa, waaaaay better.

Always sweet people serving… Yet, Everybody is newer now… Something has happened to this place within the last year. We have been coming to sushi cruise for at least 4 years. The quality of the food continues to be quite good… But the speed of service… wow…in a bad way… Four visits! I don’t know what’s going on! The last time we went with my family for AYCE we were seated for 35 mins with no food… They are so nice though! We have been comped dessert and drinks a couple of times… But in reality you need reasonable timing in order to continue supporting a restaurant. The AYCE has been reduced in price, which is very nice, but unfortunately with a smaller price comes a bigger wait :0(

Below average sushi restaurant. I came here for lunch during on the weekend and the place was practically empty. I didn’t feel like eatting sushi, so I just ordered the standard lunch special bento box and got the pork tonkatsu and chicken teriyaki — basic stuff which any japanese restaurant can’t mess up. It was decent and alright. My wife ordered a salmon skin roll and a salmon roe sushi. The salmon skin roll wasn’t that good, and the salmon roe served was frozen so it wasn’t fresh. Service was slow, and the older Korean lady who was our waittress was probably the establishment’s owner. Korean owned sushi places never taste the same as Japanese owned sushi places IMO. Later in the day, my wife’s stomach was hurting, so we’re definitely not coming back here again. I’d give it 1 rating but my bento box was decent so 2 stars it is. Btw, they have a all-you-can-eat sushi deal, so if you’re hungry for some really cheap sushi, then this place may be for you.

Came in on a Saturday night– there was only one table seated and a handful of patrons at hte bar. Was excited to check this place out after reading the«over 90 items on the AYCE menu» sign on the windows and reading some good reviews; however that joy was short lived. Some«highlights» of our first round: Green Mussels-Undercooked and covered in a unappetizing sauce Shrimp Tempura-Didn’t know you could make shrimp tempura bad! This appetizer was TOTALLY bland Saba-Tasted HORRIBLE: borderline unedible. VERY fishy tasting. I was barely able to choke down one piece just for the sake of politeness Oyster Shooter-SWIMMING in sauce/liquid. I had to pour out ¾ of the liquid in the glass in order to be able to attempt to eat this Garlic Tuna-Was not part of the AYCE, but we ordered it because it sounded good. Garlic«sauce» was okay, tuna was chewy and dish was covered with raw onions. Not worth $ 4.50 The nigiri that we ordered was room temperature and clearly not fresh. A lot of items were covered in the same terrible sauce. Their cut rolls are merely HUGE california rolls(at least 1.5−2″ in diameter) which are covered lightly with whatever other items make it a «specialty roll». The food was so bad that we didn’t even order a second round. Service was terrible, we never even got refills on our drinks. We didn’t receive part of our order and it took forever to get our check. CLEARLY a waste of $ 24.95 a person and my daily caloric intake. We will NOT be returning.

This is one of my favorite Japanese food around my house. The best is the all you can eat option is about 25 dollars each. What i like about this place is that the all you can eat is order by the client non of the precooked stuff. The sushi chef is very friendly and they even buy you sake from time to time. If you go on Mon-thur and Sat the Japanese Beers are only 3 dollars for 600 ml bottle what an awesome deal. come prepare to eat all the sushi on the menu is awesome

They have a lot of rolls! But what makes their AYCE sushi worth it is the Nigiri… and Sushi Cruise definitely delivers! Their Ono is spectacular! The menu is so expansive, you need to visit at least 3 times to order everything! I got excited when I saw the Sashimi Salad on the AYCE menu– it wasn’t as big as I had hoped, but it still had plenty of pieces. Came here with a group of 14 and we were seated promptly. What was surprising was how fast the sushi was coming out! I was very pleased with the overall experience and would recommend eating here.(BTW– I came here @8:00PM on a Saturday night.)

Being REALLYREALLY hungry and AYCE sushi is not a good combination. Add 2 other people in our party who were REALLYREALLY hungry and are eccentrically making choices based on their hunger pangs. What this equals out to is WAYTOOMUCHFOOD. Other than the Casablanca roll, a couple other rolls and a few nagiri sushi that I myself ordered, everything was a blur. And at one point, it seemed like were were racing to keep up with what we had ordered. I must say that a lot of the rolls even tasted the same. Word of advice. Don’t order all the different lobster rolls. Yes, my friends ordered 3 «different» lobster rolls. Other than one of them not being spicy, they all tasted the same. These were very hard to finish. The Casablanca which came in the 1st round, was my favorite of that bunch. I loved the light dressing and thinly sliced onions that topped a very refreshingly clean tasting roll. I wasn’t too thrilled about the nagiri sushi. They tasted like the fish had been sitting out taking in the room temperature. Yeah, yuck. A couple other friends ordered the Red Bull, the Cactus and a couple other rolls on the 2nd round. The Red bull and the Cactus roll were VERYVERY good. All the ingredients that they used for these rolls tasted SO much fresher than the rolls on our first round. Any way, by the time we left I was in a world of hurtin’, because I was tryin’ to be a good boy an not waste any food. Now I know what the dude from Man VS, Food feels like when he tries to finish all that ridiculous amount of food. The service was a bit slow being that it was Saturday night and dinner hours, but the servers are very cool and pretty attentive once they get there. Overall, 25 $ for AYCE sushi is a pretty good deal if you’re a big eater. A friend our asked us afterward, «Do you want to go to The Donut Man?» To be continued…

I totally disagree with Cathy T… this place is da bomb… I usually don’t get AYCE because it’s too much food… so I always order one roll and sashimi salmon(the best thing ever)…the owner is so friendly… He always goes around tables and greets everyone! I love the atmosphere and the food… yumm 2 thumbs up

I have been to this place twice so far and I could honestly say that it is better to get the ALLYOUCANEATSUSHI when you go to this restaurant. The outside appearance is not a total sell but the inside is calming and clean. It is better(based on my opinion) to sit in the bar than tables or booth because you get your food faster and you get to see how to make it. The servers are friendly and they have a lot of crews. 3 sushi masters and 4 waiters so you’ll definitely get your food on time. The best one so far that I’ve tried is the PIZZAROLL. The 2nd to the best is the RAINBOWROLL. For the other rolls/sushi, they are good but not great. I will definitely recommend this place to those people who like to do ALLYOUCANEATSUSHI. —-ENJOY!

The boyfriend was itching for a sushi fix and we had to stop by. The sushi chefs here soo fun and energetic, it really lightens the mood here and everyone just has a good time. We came for an early dinner which was more like a snack and so we had the entire place to ourselves. They seem to only have one waiter but the sushi chefs step up to the plate and take orders and bring out orders. We ordered mainly from the sushi bar. One order of uni, one order of salmon nigori sushi, two orders of sweet shrimp, and one order of salmon skin roll. We were also served a chef special roll on the house. The portions were decent and the food was delicious. Only exception was the uni which was bit fishy nonetheless the boyfriend and I are fine.

Went here with best friend the day I arrived in Cali for our sushi nite. We used to have regular sushi nites when I was living in Irvine, but since moving to NY — I no longer have sushi nite with best friend. But best friend offered to pick me up and we get sushi here. The place is situated in a plaza off arrow highway in a plaza with various stores such fashion Q and TJ Maxx. The inside is a decent size with the sushi bar and a few tables. We ended up getting the all you can eat sushi for $ 25.95. We ordered various rolls such as the shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll, the salmon skin rolls, among others. The spicy scallop hand roll was delish — that was my fav. For the most part the rolls were good and the price isn’t bad for all you can eat. I do remember though the shrimp tempura roll had too much tempura sauce and i thought it was overkill. All the other rolls we ordered were good. Not bad for the price — service was ok and if you around the area — this place is decent.

This place is pretty cool and is definitely large enough to accompany a large crowd for a birthday or something. I ordered the rainbow roll and it was pretty good(the fish eggs stood out to me and it definitely complimented the sushi roll), while my friend ordered the crunch roll(which looked tasty). Damn it, I should’ve tried it lol I might possibly try their all-you-can eat sushi for $ 24.95 for dinner but then the lunch is cheaper, so I guess we’ll see.

First thing I noticed as we walked up to the entrance was the«A» rating. Not sure why but«A’s» stick out to me. They also had signage displaying $ 1 sake bombs … seems like every group that was there was taking them, why not when they’re $ 1. So I came with the brothers and the bro’s GF … I skipped my workout just to go since I missed last week’s sake bomb action. I guess it’s a good thing I went because I’ve been craving sushi for the longest time, so off we went. They offer an AYCE option but I wasn’t hungry enough to go with it so I just ordered salmon, yellowtail and spicy tuna HR along with edamame and 3 sake bombs. I’m good with that. Other orders were the sushi combo, HR combo($ 13.50 for 4HR’s — i noted that cuz if I ever came back I’d prob order this) scallops and fresh water eel CR. The quality of the food was good for me. The service was very good. No wait to sit, we got there around 8:45p on a Friday night and there was plenty of seating available. They have TV’s so in case you want to watch while you’re eating. Our server was really nice and everyone seemed to be happy when we were asked for our ID’s when we ordered the sake bombs. Total bill came to $ 80 plus change … so like $ 24 per person. Good food, good service … and I’d go back — 4 stars for me.
