Don’t know why this place gets 4 stars. Sushi was not good. Simple spicy tuna hand roll very salty. Thumbs down. Food was blan. Service was good. Maybe because we were the only one in the place. Seem like a nice couple running the place. Has a B rating. Won’t be going back.

Good: Food tastes good, Bad: I was literally the only patron, and it took 20 minutes for me to receive my food, which was the wrong order. Then I waited an additional 20 min to receive my correct order. Advice: s Don’t dine in. Repeat your order. Check your order

We have always loved the food here. This is our first time, since they re opened and now have sushi. The sushi is amazing especially the Garlic Albacore roll. We highly recommend this place. Service was also great!

Very good food, we had the sashimi salad, very fresh, and the cucumber special roll(no rice)!. To finish it off we tried the seafood Lo-mein with thin spicy noodles! Probably too much for two people, but it was delish and took the rest home; overall good service and good food!

This place just re-opened and I didn’t expect that they would have good sushi in a Japanese/Chinese restaurant. I ordered a premium Chirashi bowl, the portion is generous, fish is fresh and it’s only about $ 17.00. We also ordered curry beef stew and Hong Kong style noodles. It was pretty tasty and we will definitely come again.

Came here for the first time with my coworkers. Portions were generous and the service was excellent. Friendly and clean atmosphere. Sweet and sour pork and low mein were excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious and service was quick, highly recommend!

We came here without knowing what to expect, we found publicity in our car while we were at Home Depot and just decided to give it a try, all the family loved it, the girls loved the California roll and the house special rice, the Crazy Boy Roll was a bomb, really great, this has become me favorite sushi place! And we got a 20% off with the coupon!

First time trying Lone Hill Café, and it was delicious! I don’t write reviews unless the food is great. Also the place, the vibe, and waitress were really nice to me and my girlfriend. Now they have Chinese food and a Japanese bar. Fyi the hot sake is ½ price ;) I will try more dishes when I have the time!

I had Orange Chicken, very bland. Next time I would order something spicy, but I doubt there will be a next time.

It seemed as if the spring rolls were fried in rancid oil or oil that had not been changed in a while. The meat in one dish was so tough that I could barely bite a piece apart. Imagine London broil cut up and fried and thrown into a pre made sauce. The other sauce I could swear came out of a can(but I could be wrong) poured in mass quantities over now soggy fried meat. The only edible thing was the rice. The rest was rinsed off and fed to the chickens. They seemed to like it.

I am also shocked this place does not have more customers. The environment is great its clean and Uncomfortable. The food is really good. The waitress was polite and very friendly. She took the time to talk about some of the questions I had about some dishes. The price is great for the quality food they serve. The soups are awesome. Take a chance on this place.

Wow! I am honestly shocked that this place doesn’t get more business! It’s a really cute environment and the ambiance was enjoyable. It can be pricy but the plates are definitely big enough to share. The service was great, the waitress even helped my mother decide what she wanted. And her recommendation was spectacular. And really, pan fried chow mein being spectacular is not something you come across every day. The Jasmine tea was light and and refreshing. I came specifically for the steamed pork buns, which were good to get my craving out. Not fantastic but still pretty good, definitely. My parents are still raving. We’ll definitely be back.

So I just went in here tonight with my son and husband. We came back for the first time last weekend and the food was really good so we went back tonight… big mistake. All 3 of us ordered and my son’s came out first, then mine about 5 – 10 minutes after. My husband’s never came. We finally caught her and asked for the check and let her know that my husband never received his food. She apologized but we told her just forget it and we wanted the check. My husband was so irritated and even I was… now he’s done and made it known that he is not interested in ever going back. Thanks for the short lived reunion Lone Hill Café.

The food is absolutely delicious here at this Chinese restaurant. Nothing is pre-made. You order, then they make it fresh and yummy… I’ve always ordered to go. Never really sat there to eat. But, it is a really cute and cozy restaurant. This time, I was not to crazy about their service. I was with my husband, we went after lunch hour.(around 1 — 2pm). There was only 2 customers and one waitress. We waited, and waited… because the waitress looked busy, kept going in the kitchen, then to the table, then to the register, and back in the kitchen. By the time she gave us her attention, we were already frustrated. I asked her a question about their tray sizes. She went to get them, but we saw she started to help another customer. With only two customers in the restaurant, and her running around like that… what would they do, if the place fills up? I hope they hire more servers. Anyway… Since the food is really good, I’m giving them a 3 star. I will come back for the food, and not have any expectations for amazing service.

I should be scared when I am the only one in a restaurant for more than 30 minutes. I came in to get some food to go. I ordered the teriyaki chicken, which was fried with the skin. My daughter did not like it, she said the chicken was fatty and greasy. On a side note, they threw in some french fries. I used my Unilocal coupon. I may give it one more try…

I don’t usually like to be the pioneer for new restaurant. however, I was kind out of idea where to eat in my hood… This place is in the same plaza as Goodwill but close to the Lone Hill side. I didn’t see any name from outside only a sigh said«GRANDOPENING» and Chinese food… but since there;s only one Chinese restaurant there… it won’t be too difficult to identify the target!!! Ordered Garlic Shrimp from lunch express menu $ 8.5 The flavor was not bad, just I was not impressed. My friend ordered the Grilled Salmon $ 10.5, Salmon was not overcooked but i dislike the teriyaki sauce on it. My friend liked it though. And he even mentioned how much he likes that salmon after few days… huh? I also ordered the steam dumpling(6 pc for $ 5), that was a bad choice It was soggy and more like boiled dumpling and I have to say I did not feel its a homemade dumpling. service was nice, restaurant is clean w/comfortable booths. Food quality is good and more on the healthy side.(less greasy, not salty). Lunch also comes with soup or salad, and you can change to brown rice without additional charge. Their brown rice is exact the same kind I cooked at home,…the very unpolished kind… it is not often seen at restaurants so if you are not used to it… don’t switch to brown rice. (Again, on the good healthy side)
