It’s inconvenient for most home owners who shop and work for their home in weekends!

I don’t know why the reviews are so bad here. Ive been shopping at this Home Depot for over three years and have always found whatever I needed and gotten great customer service.
I usually shop in the garden center since I spend a lot of time gardening and growing my own fruits and veggis. But I also come for light bulbs, key copies, screen door replacements, cleaning supplies, raid for the damn ants.
I love that its so close to where I live also cause I’ll sometimes make up to three trips in a day :/​thank god for the Home Depot credit card lol

Do not buy any appliances that need to be installed, home depot contracts with third party company called Temco and they are horrible they will only deliver your items and say anything not to install. I came in around 8:30 one night needing a p.v.c. pipe i just needed one no more than 15 inches, i asked a couple of guys on a forklift if they had anything smaller cause all i found was a two foot long pipe they said no there wasn’t anything smaller than that if i need it a 15 pipe i had to cut it myself but never directed me where to go cut it. I only gave them a one star cause they young lady at the cash register was about the only one that was helpful. Maybe next time i need something i’ll try Lowes or H.D. supply.

Last weekend, we came to this home depot on three different occasions, and each time was a great experience! Because we were painting our new house ourselves, we were confused about a lot of things. Luckily, the guys at the paint department answered all our questions.
My mom picked the wrong color by accident from the catalog, and we realized it was darker than the color she wanted to pick. We chugged 5 gallons of paint back to home depot to ask for help, and Michael Stein was kind enough to fix our situation for us. He somehow managed to mix the color to the one my mom meant to pick! Woohoo :) No more wasted paint, no more sad walls…
Thank you Michael and thank you Home Depot for making buying a new house a more pleasant experience! Well be back :)

Each Home Depot seems to be run differently. Sometimes you can wonder the aisles looking for some assistance and never find anyone, other times you the help is abundant. This store had an abundance of help and had everything I was looking for. I was in and out as quickly as I wanted to be.

I, walked in to return something and the lady behind the counter was rude. The only thing she said to me was cash or credit back to the card. She couldn’t even call me up to the register she just stood there and looked at me. I guess you have to be a mind reader to k ew what she wanted. You would think Home Depot would step in and do something after looking at these reviews. Customer service is not very good.

I am really frustrated with this store. I have never had such bad experience at a Home Depot until I came across this store. I was forced to come here since this was the nearest store that sells swamp coolers. While I was here to purchase a swamp cooler, my parents also wanted to purchase a range (stove). Then I noticed that Home Depot gives out 10% off to ANY FIRST PURCHASE ITEMS.
STRIKE 1
Before I applied for the credit card I have asked over and over again, «Do I get 10% off on my total balance on one receipt or does it have any exclusions». The person (MARCO) who helped me at the appliance department says, «no it applies to everything». Ok then I purchased it. When I went home I found that they did not give me 10%off for my swamp cooler. I then went back and asked the customer service lady if I get the 10% off for the swamp cooler and she said «no you don’t». I asked «why“and she said „they didn’t give it to you.“ And when I asked her if it stated on anything I signed when I applied for the credit, cause the person who sold me the appliance says otherwise. She said „no“ then paused for a minute and said „I’ll just give it to you“. I didn’t want to argue about the 10% if they didn’t tell me that it is offered towards the whole receipt in the first place.
STRIKE 2
I received the delivery and the person who delivered the range (stove) just told me to sign for pick up. While I was in a rush to get to work (they came 15 mins before my work was scheduled and my work place is 10 miles away from where I live), I signed before he said it was just for pick up. He did not informed me that I had to check the appliance before I sign. NO ONE EVER EVER INFORMED ME TO CHECK RANGE!!! The guy who delivered it DIDINT EVEN OPEN THE BOX SO I CAN SEE THE RANGE !! I didn’t know until my dad called me after my 8 hour shift and said there was A DENT ON MY NEW NEW RANGE. When I paid the price for a brand new one, I EXPECT IT TO BE BRAND NEW! When I called back and spoke to them nicely to see if they can exchange it for me the same day (Saturday). EVELYN told me that the person who sold me the appliance was suppose to inform me to check the appliance before I sign it. I told her no one informed me anything. She didn’t bother to listen to me and she put me on hold for 10 MINS. She came back on the phone and she told me that someone will give me a call back on Monday. Once they arrange someone to to pick up the appliance. She says that she spoke to her manager (JOSE) and we (customers) have 3 days to return the item. I asked her,» what happens if I don’t receive a ca by Monday”. She says,” do worry I will receive one”. After speaking to her I was not still not satisfy having to wait ’til Monday so I called back to look for the manager (JOSE). He then informed me that he will let me know by (Sunday) which one the next day. I said ok. I waited until Monday 5:30pm and I still have not received a single ca from Home Depot. I called in to ask for Jose or Evelyn. Of course, none of them were in and apparently NO ONE CAN HELP ME UNTIL THEY WERE THERE. NOT EVEN THE OTHER MANAGER. The other manager (RICHARD, which has even more attitude) says that call back Tuesday, when both of the are here… This is horrible…
Strike 3
I called back on Tuesday and I asked for Jose. He then picked up the phone and he as soon as I can say my name, he put me on hold. After putting me on hold for 3 mins he came back on the phone and ask me to hold again while he transfers me to the appliance department where someone CAN ASSIST ME. After transferring me to the other department another lady ask me «how can she help me again». It’s fine that I have to repeat myself again, but she now says «the person who sold you the appliance was suppose to tell you to check the range before you sign» I said, «I understand that but I already told Evelyn before and she just said she was going to rearrange someone to pick it up. I was just following up the status.» She says,” it’s too late already.” After she has told me that, I did not want to hear anything from them anymore. I asked them for their corporate number so I can complain on a fraud that’s happening at this store right now. I can’t believe this have just happened to me. Right when I asked for the corporate number. She told me to hold again. Not counting the last 5 times she told me to hold. And giving me the BULLSHIT ANSWER. And then she transfers me back to the person (Marco) who originally helped me. He then asked, «how can I help you». Of course I have already had it to my last point with them already. I REFUSE TO REPEAT MYSELF IF HE CANNOT ASSIST ME WITH WHAT I NEEDED. He says, «yes I will help you solve the problem.» After telling him what happened and I DO NOT WANT THE RANGE ANYMORE (even with a discount). He told me that, that’s no problem and he can find someone to pick it up the same day. I said ok and make sure he gives me a call back and update me…

After standing for awhile at the paint counter and being ignored I asked the young lady helping someone else if there was someone else working the department. Immediately I got a shrug and attitude. I reported it to the manager. I will never shop at this location again

for minimum service at least, yes in the past 3 years some employees do help, after begging for service, the worthless employees out number the valuable employees 10 to 2,
this home depot is a joke!

I consider myself a fairly patient and understanding person, but this place is full of incompetent and racist employees. It will be over two hours now that I’m waiting for a simple piece of un-​assembled wood to be brought out from the back. I’ve dealt with at least six different individuals and each one only .5% more helpful than the last because if you’re not of Spanish decent they will bump you to the end of their list in assisting. Twice the person in the middle of answering my questions stopped to not only respond to a customer speaking Spanish, but also told me to hold on while they went off to show that customer the location of something. I was livid. The only employees here that were semi-​decent were the women employees who knew their sh*t better than the dumb dudes whose mild muscles were useful in fork-​lifting one piece of wood into the back of my car.

I just came here to get some drought-​tolerant grass for my backyard. Great service, and though it is a little pricy. I hope my dog doesn’t soil the grass!

Hardware department has poor customer service. The guy there to help ignored us while stocking screws, then gave the wrong info when we asked a question. When called on it, he changed his story, then told us they sold all that stock (even though we later found the stock on the shelf ourselves.) Ultimately not helped at all.

This stores is by far one of the most clean; organized; and filled with helpful employees. Not to mention the store manager and assistant managers are extremely there to make your experience an awesome one. I visit Home Depot in average about 5 times in a week and I’ve never left that store unhappy. If you ever need help in electrical Carlos is the guy to visit; for lumber there’s Vero, Mario, Joe and Christian they are also nice; knowledgeable and defently hard working people. Customer Service desk is great Maricela & Anna are also a pair of girls who you can find on average always greeting you with a huge smile asking if there anything you need. I give this store 2 high fives!

came with my family to buy an Xmas tree. its sunday.its 7pm. the store closes at 8pm. Apparently they close the xmas trees at 7. i cant buy a tree. an employee said they closed it early for their employee xmas
kids are disappointed, so were the 10 other families that showed up. on my way to lowes

This is the best Home Depot I have ever been to. In my experience with Home Depot whenever I need help with anything I can’t find a staff member anywhere in sight. At this home Home Depot everyone I have encountered has been friendly and helpful. I live in West LA but am willing to drive all the way to Sylmar for the excellent experience.

After browsing for some good deals online, I decided to get what I needed at the store. It was still a part of the July 4^th sale so I got a reasonable discount for my personal refrigerator.
We also rented a trolley and within an hour, we have accomplished my goal. The staff were helpful and fast.
Parking wasn’t crazy and food shops were noted around the area.

4 stars for the appliance department…
2 stars for the overall store or should I say 1 star…
This review is mainly for the associate at the appliance department.
We were not a fan of this home depot location because we had 2 bad experiences. We decided to give this place another shot since this location was close to our place and we needed to purchase 4 major appliances and have it delivered.
The girl who helped us (Daisy) was extremely knowledgeable. She really knows her stuff. Unlike the other associates we came across with, who were not as helpful as she was. Ugggh, I feel frustration coming on as write this review. If you work in sales, customer service is a must. I’m glad Daisy was very helpful, had strong customer service skills, and understood our situation. Remodeling a home can get really stressful. Thanks to Daisy, I was able to purchase the appliances I needed and I am happy and excited for my purchase.
Also, I must thank Kim, the store manager. She apologized and quickly addressed our concerns regarding the rude services we got from 2 different employees.
Overall, Daisy and Kim made up for the 2 worst experiences we received. So I guess this Home Depot ain’t bad at all thanks to them. Wish there were more people like them representing good customer service skillls.

My family and I were on a search for our Christmas tree last Friday night and I have to say I was pretty disappointed with Home Depot.
First off, all the trees were tied up and pushed together in a pile; making it difficult to gauge the selection. Secondly, if we wanted to see any of the trees we had to unravel it ourselves or wait for one of the two employees working the floor to be free. It honestly wasn’t very packed but because the trees were tied up it wasted a lot of the customers and employees time. Thirdly, they didn’t help us carry the tree to our car or even offer to help.
The only positive thing I have to say about my experience at Home Depot is that they had a tree trimmer who was working his butt off. He had a huge line and hustled through it with amazing customer service. They also wrap up your tree which makes it easier to both take home and to bring into your house.

Overall
I wouldn’t recommend getting your tree at Home Depot unless you’re in a rush and want to get in and out without really seeing what you’re getting. But, if you are taking your kids and want a nice experience of gazing and walking through the selection I would look elsewhere.
