This bootcamp is awesome. Let me start by saying that I have never done anything like this EVER before. I was kind of terrified and not prepared but I just decided to do it and it is really fun and challenging. There is a great mix of genders and ages in the group, and everyone is really nice and accepting. James is hilarious and motivating as an instructor. Yes, it is crazy early in the morning but then you go home, eat breakfast, get to work, and you feel great. Let’s face it, we all say we are going to work out after work, but we don’t! We eat dinner and drink cocktails and then pass out watching Netflix. Getting up early to work out is the best for you and for a tight work schedule. James also mixes up the workouts with longer runs. There is a lot of boxing and muay thai elements. So you do need to get some boxing gear for this class. This is my favorite part about it. Learning fight techniques is kick ass, and the drills are tough, and I always feel like I’ve gotten a whole body workout. Thanks to 02Athletics for making me feel like I can actually be athletic!
