Prices are a little more then me and my wife would pay. The artichoke salad, the penne with meatballs and the combo pizza was awesome. Our waiter Nick was awesome. Atmosphere is great. The rest of the employees were friendly. But we played with card and tipped Nick $ 15 for the excellent service. But another waiter picked up the signed merchant receipt that I signed. For some reason he examined it while walking to the register were Nick was and reached back to his back pocket. Then handed the receipt to Nick all this while me and my wife was walking out. I hope I am just assuming something that was not right. But over all the place is great. I recommend. Hopefully the tip went to the right person.

My favorite pizza place since childhood, as they had a branch in my suburbs growing up. Amici’s introduced me to New York style pizza, and for that, I’ll always be grateful. I’ve only ordered delivery via their Lombard branch and they’ve always been fairly fast, and the pizzas have always arrived piping hot. There’s no denying the deliciousness of their pies; however, the price tag can be hard to swallow. In NYC, the same slice of pizza would cost $ 2; in SF, the pie will cost you over $ 20 :-(

Not great, pizza was overly greasy and didn’t have the greatest flavor. Pepperoni was small and the whole wheat crust didn’t have the best flavor. Maybe we have just been spoiled by some amazing places we have in Reno like noble pie, but I won’t go back to this place.

Amici’s recently helped my organization with a large pizza order for a party of 300. I was blown away by their amazing service! I tried ordering from several other locations first and they were so rude and impatient it was such a breath of fresh air when I called Amici’s! They will be my go to for any large party from now on. Thank you to Marco and Peter for all your help! Not only was everything perfect with the order, it was delicious! I know Amici’s isn’t the fanciest place but the food is really good and the service is great! Definitely give their pastas a try and their tuxedo cake is unreal!

I hadn’t had Amici’s in years. On Saturday night I decided to switch things up and passed on my usual neighborhood pizza delivery and use Eat24 to order from Amici’s. Medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza ~ $ 28, slightly on the pricey side. The delivery time was estimated to be 30 – 40 minutes, great, I was hungry! Yet 50 minutes later no pizza and no delivery status update. Perhaps this is an Eat24 issue, but either way the merchant should be communicating accurate delivery times. The pizza was finally delivered about 55 minutes after ordering. Timing aside, the pizza was underwhelming. It was closer to room temperature than hot, I don’t want to have to reheat my pizza right off the bat. The flavor and ratio of the sauce was good, however the mushrooms really stood out as the best part of the pizza… great flavor and texture. Maybe the delivery experience would have been different had I ordered directly from the restaurant. However at nearly $ 30 for a medium, I won’t take my chances again.

East coast guy still trying to find decent pizza here in the city. And I don’t mean«decent» in the 2am slice version, but for when I’m completely sober and just craving a good pie. Had Amici for the first time with some friends over last night, and it would order from here again. The pizza was solid compared to east coast NYC/Philly style and better than most pizza shops out here. The dry rub wings were delicious too.

Their pizza tastes like normal pizza but you would expect it to be amazing given how much it costs. $ 50 for a small and a medium pizza? Not worth it.

Well worth the wait… Since I live out of town haven’t had AMICI’S until yesterday. Thankz to MURPH&MAC and everyone at KNBR my craving and curiosity grew every time they would recommend AMICI’S over the years… While in SF this weekend I ordered the Lemon Pepper Wings a Salami Pizza and Manhattan Red Clam Pizza… it was delivered in no time… Well Worth The Wait…24−7.

Pizzas are great, and eating environment is quite lovely. I highly recommend the beef meatballs, which taste good. And a writer who is from Brazil is cute. The service is so lovely. LOL

I love the lasagna here and the pizza is also delicious! Food is cooked in a flaming hot oven and arrives fresh and hot. Prices are very reasonable, especially for San Francisco. Pasta portions are available in individual, large, and family portions. Pizza’s start as mini, small, medium, large, family sizes. They do have a wine list in addition to the house wine for $ 6 a glass. One of the less crowded restaurants in this area since it is large and part of a chain. There is a parking garage one block away if you can’t find street parking.

I wish I could give you guys negative stars right now. Negative stars that summon the devil to punish you. After several average experiences here, I had a pretty bad one just now. Ordered a pizza on grubhub per usual, and after receiving confirmation that we’d be getting a delivery in 45 minutes, someone from the restaurant called my girlfriend and bluntly told her they didn’t deliver to our address, and hung up before we could say much else. We double checked their delivery map, and confirmed our address was perfectly within their delivery area. My girlfriend called back and told them we WERE in their delivery area, and asked if they had recently changed it. The guy on the phone angrily rebuked her inquiry, rudely told her they didn’t deliver to our address past dark, and hung up before she could even get a single word in. Two theories I have here, each more annoying: 1. Since we called at 8:45(and they close at 10), they didn’t want to deliver, and tried to pawn it off as «out of area». When we politely called them on that blatant lie, they got mad, lied some more about«delivering at night», and yelled, and hung up. I have personally ordered pizzas from this location LATER at night then we just tried to do, in the last few weeks(July 31st), and it was never an issue. 2. Since we live in an area in the Tenderloin that makes people uncomfortable, they saw the address and figured we either weren’t gonna tip, or were gonna rob them? I have no idea the logic on that one, but delivery drivers have been weird about delivering to our area before. There’s this odd misconception that people who live here are all crackheads with guns, and possibly more terrifying to them, not white. TL;DR = Fire your rude employees, change your map to reflect your«no Tenderloin residents at night whenever we feel like it because» policy, and if you ever speak to one of my loved ones like that again on the phone, I’m personally coming down there to speak to your management staff about customer service. I don’t have a social life, believe me, I’ll do it.

we were a group of 10 and were promptly seated. i was excited to see that they had several gluten free options. i ordered the Milano which is: Mozzarella, Provolone, Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes, Bacon, Slow Roasted Garlic, Red and Green Onions. it sounded amazing and the server had recommended it. slow roasted garlic can’t be bad right? this was a bit pricey at $ 26.95, but it was GF, i was hungry, and i didn’t care. the rest of the table ordered different pastas and pizzas to share. they all enjoyed their food and we hardly had any leftovers. i was feeling pretty good, full, and happy. i took an über back to my hotel and got ready for bed since i had an early flight the next day. i woke up in the middle of the night with excruciating stomach pain. i had to use the bathroom several times and was basically up all night with painful cramps. no one else from our group got sick, so i’m guessing maybe my pizza wasn’t completely gluten free? either that or my pizza itself was bad. no one else tried my pizza so i can’t test that theory out. based off my symptoms i’m going to make an educated guess and say it wasn’t gluten free. this was the only thing i ate all day so i’m positive it was that pizza that made me so sick. it really ruined my night and it was awful having to fly back home the following morning. to be safe i’d avoid this place if you have food allergies. again it could have been the pizza itself maybe had a bad ingredient, but better safe than sorry. that pain and suffering was not worth it and i wouldn’t want anyone else to get sick.

Best east coast pizza! I always go for the amicis combo and have never been disappointed. If you don’t like it, tell them and they will fix it with no question asked. Also make sure to ask for the garlic sauce!

I’ve eaten pizza from here in the past, and it is by far one of the best in the city. Such a gourmet flavor to it, nor too greasy tasting either. I ordered dielbery from here a few days back and here is how it went. I called in about 3:30 and ordered. When I placed my order over the phone I told the driver not to hurry because I wasn’t too hungry and that if it got here by 5 – 6 pm that would be fine, so after I placed my order she confirmed for a 6 pm delivery. Minestone soup Small: Soooo good I ate this in under 5 minutes. The pasta shells were cooked just right, the veggies were fresh and the base for the soup was just right, not too bland but not too spicy either. ARTICHOKEPANZANELLASALAD full: So good!!! I loved the sauce that came with it Linguinie with clams(white sauce) when I ordered over the phone, she asked white or red and I said white, but I wish I would have said red, because I didn’t like this at all. At first I didn’t touch the thing but after it sat in my room for a couple of hours I ended up eating out of hunger. I rarely get this dish from anywhere, but I do like to try it every once in a while, because I think it has a rare flavor to it. But the one from here with white sauce feels like it is linguine soup in olive oil with a very strong flavored base, I will never order this from here again. I will try it with red sauce next time to see if that one is good. Cheese cake: very rich flavor, very good Diet coke. The driver knocked on my door just after 6 pm, so the delivery instructions were followed pretty much as to how I asked for them to deliver the food to me.

Had the amicis combo gluten free. Big pizza. Can’t finish it myself. Meatballs weren’t gluten free which the server suggested I sub. Had the Caesar salad with anchovies. Delish!

Ok I really blew it tonight… yep I made a couple of huge mistakes by ordering a pizza to be delivered from Amici’s. Second mistake was not reading the Unilocal reviews of this place first. So here I am hoping to save someone from wasting their money on really crappy pizza. I ordered a large New York with sausage and pepperoni which cost about $ 32.00 before tip. Pizza was soggy and the crust was burned black. Not good at all. If I had been at the restaurant I would have sent the pizza back and I have never done that in my life. Last time I will ever order from Amici’s. By the way, on the delivery box it says«Best Pizza West Of New York»!!! It is absolutely, positively NOT the best pizza anywhere. I would have been happier walking up to Target and getting frozen pizza! Big Disappointment :-(BOOOOOOO!

First time to this location but not Amici’s. Great service and food! The bf and I absolutely loved our food! pasta with clams, garlic bread and penne with meat sauce. Its nice and clean! One tip: Be aware of the parking meters. It’s Cow Hollow district, so be sure you have enough time allotted before dining!

Quite a nice fancy Pizzeria… I had dinner there on my recent visit. The restaurant is quite fancy and very appealing. The service and servers are quite fast and friendly. The server has the metal plates if you want to see the size of the pizzas and then you are set to order. We ordered garlic bread and medium veg pizza, the bread was so good and we enjoyed it and before we could finish it… the pizza was here. The pizza was done very nice with the right amount of topping and the crust was good too. The portion size was quite friendly as we had to take few slices back to our hotel.
