I bought an item here at Christmas time (tee shirt); not well made and has a little run in the shoulder. Am returning it. Expensive tee-​shirts should be well made.

I have a weakness for things French. Sometimes I do a double-​take when I see boutiques named with French words. In this case, they done right: for every purchase[1], they’ll plant a tree.
They’ve got a selection of accessories, jewelry, and clothing on display. Nearly all their merchandise is made in San Francisco. Shop local, I say[2].
Au Revoir Simone was piping in the background, which made me smile. They’ve also got a photo booth, which is always fun.
Thanks Caitlin and Nikita for putting up with all my questions and uncertainty. Shopping — especially holiday shopping — makes me want to shoot bourbon.

[2] No, I don’t really say this, but I do appreciate patronizing local artisans.

I went in got a simple cotton shirt dress for almost 100 $, and you would say that it would be durable? A month later the fabric changed and its looking old and weary, like 10 $ cheap shirt from H&M, i am disappointed from the quality considering the price. Thought about even returning it.

Palo Alto, CA
Amour Vert had a popup in Palo Alto for a few months. Nice people, cute clothes, I bought a few items; I came back and they were gone. But I kept getting notices about their events, and today visited a popup in San Francisco. They had advertised this event heavily, but clearly had made no accommodations for the number of customers because there were only two small tents where people could try on clothes. The wait for a dressing room were long. The wait to pay was long. And after being hugely insulted by one of the sales staff, we handed over the items we were planning to buy (we were still waiting to pay!) and walked out. Amour Vert: it’s not your customers’ fault that you were so ill-​prepared for the crowds.
Bottom line: cute items, reasonably priced, even better on sale. But other local businesses have similar qualities without the nasty staff. Sorry I wasted an hour there.

I stopped in on my way to dinner yesterday. The store was having a 40% off sale. They have pieces from lounge causal to nice silks with super cute prints.
I found a great dress that didn’t fit quite right and they offered to make a small alteration — AMAZING!
The gals there were very friendly and helpful. I wholeheartedly support this local small business!!!

Stopped by the store today. They sell the cutest clothes! The lady working at the store, Krystal, was super helpful too. They clothes are a little pricey, but they are made well, stylish, and eco-​friendly.

Oh what a nice find I have stumbled upon this month! I’ve been walking by Amour Vert’s design office in my quiet neighborhood for quite some time, looking at some interesting pieces in their window, and I finally decided to find out what they’re all about. It’s a good thing I did. I’ve discovered they have a boutique in Hayes Valley, a pop up on Fillmore Street and they also sell online. Since my little discovery, I’ve purchased four new pieces and each and every one has fit me just right and has not disappointed. Size XS works well for petites. The designs are modern, the materials are comfortable and the colors are great. To top things off, Caitlin in the Hayes Valley store was super sweet and called around trying to locate a size and color in a top I liked so much. This place is smart — a friendly staff to keep me coming back (so important to me) and chic clothing that makes me look and feel good.

I love classy pieces with a twist and the moment I tried on one of their shirts, I fell in love with the drape and softness! I also bought a great jacket and the first time I wore it, I noticed a hole inside the pocket. I was worried since I removed the tag but I was back in the neighborhood and stopped by. They were so sweet and apologized, saying that they always do their best to ensure the highest quality. Luckily they had another one in stock, so they exchanged it without a problem. (If they didn’t have it, they would’ve repaired it for me). Luxurious items and great service!

Awesome! The owner was sooo friendly and so were the staff. Cute store. Their tops are super soft. Loved the vibe. Makes me happy seeing local brands connecting with their customers :)
